Ashes is awesome! She kills it! I went in and she was extremely friendly right off the bat. She had drawn up a great piece. She doesn't have a heavy hand, which is nice when she was tattooing my a bit if my knee cap. She is also honest and will make sure you get a great tattoo, even if it is with a different artist. I highly suggest checking her out!

I found Gregory Wald through a referral and I was so happy with my experience. I really enjoy his studio space it is a private room, very clean and comfortable. He is an amazing artist, you must trust the process! I highly recommend him if you want actual art. Don’t come in with pre-made things. (Although I am sure he would do amazing at that as well) Have him create something for you.

I heard of Ashes through a referall, she was very patient with all of the edits I wanted for the design. It was very very reasonably priced, she worked quick, and it looks amazing! She also included a little "goodie bag" with ointment for your tattoo and aftercare instructions. Definitely would recommend and will be coming back.

Honestly , this is place is full with such talented people , the environment is very nice & everything is clean. However, back in January I had an appointment with ZANE COLLINS, he was supposed to be finishing my piece that he did on my arm & ended up never responding to my emails. When I went back in January to get it finished up , he pretty much never showed up. His co workers called him up & nothing. I felt pretty embarrassed just waiting there for no reason. I messaged him again and nothing. I spent so much money for him to pretty much just leave me hanging. If he really didnt want to work with me than he should be professional and let me know so I didn’t have to waste my time & money. I don’t think I could go back to this place with this bad experience. Now I have to look for another artist. I don’t even write reviews to any place but I just had to bc of this.

Shawn was absolutely amazing! Its so hard to find someone that you can trust with something that’s on your body for life. He totally blew me away with a realistic lion tattoo smack center on my hand! I was so hesitant to ever get it because it’s so visible. I’m SO glad to have found him. Not only is he extremely experienced, his portfolio is amazing, and he totally captures what you want! I will only go to him as long as I’m in Utah! I even have friends from California coming all the way to Utah JUST to see him! If you need an artist he’s your guy! On top of it all. Oak Adams knows his artists. I dropped him a line to see what he would suggest. He lined me up with Matt Morrison. Hands down, the best work I have seen. Now, my whole right side is covered with his work. Next month I go in to get the rest of my leg done from knee to ankle. I would suggest anyone see Matt for any black and gray work they are looking to get done.

I never leave reviews but this place is amazing. First, the studio is beautiful and spotless. Most studios in the valley are dirty and unkept but this place is stunning! Secondly, The receptionist/manager is so sweet, professional, and very accommodating, she has been able to get me in the same day that I call. Lastly, my artist, Billy, is incredibly talented and his rates are VERY reasonable. Happy to have found such a wonderful gem!

Highly impressed with the artwork coming out of painted temple. The studio has individual rooms for more privacy and each artist has customized their rooms to their style. So incredibly sad that Daniel Walker has left as I felt he and Oak Adams were both incredible realistic artists. Oak is still at this location but was booked out almost a year last time I checked (which only proves his talent). They also have a great new age artist. I feel honored to have work done by Daniel and hope he comes back soon.

I am very pleased with my experience at Painted Temple. They were very accommodating and took the time to fit me in. Shawn did two tattoos, one on each arm. He was personable and very understanding when I started to feel dizzy. I absolutely Love my tattoos and have already recommended this place to several people. I would never go anywhere else!
