I got my first tattoo here last week by Nicki. She was incredibly professional, an amazing tattoo artist, as well as an amazing human being. She was super personable, and very very attentive to myself as well as the tattoo. She made sure countless times that I like the progress of the tattoo, because she knew how important it was to me. I am incredibly impressed with the work that she did and I will definitely be returning! The shop itself is very clean, very professional, and very inviting. The rest of the staff are very nice and professional. They give you free tattoo aftercare, which is pretty cool. Also as an FYI, if you pay with cash you can usually get a discount on your tattoo. I definitely give this place my stamp of approval and would highly recommend this place to anybody looking to either get a very intricate tattoo or even your first tattoo, like myself!

I was there today getting a nose piercing and everything about the experience was great. From the people sitting at the front desk to the actual piercer, everyone I came into contact with was pleasant. They had a great sense of humor and I felt right at home. Everything was very clean and sterile and the lady who pierced me knew what she was doing as it barely hurt. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a piercing/tattoo.

I am so impressed with my experience at My Pride. I have never been treated so professionally in a tattoo shop in Utah County. When I had a concern, I emailed in, and within the hour I had been replied to and was in contact with the owner, Frankie, who was not only extremely respectful, but you could tell he was seriously concerned about how we felt. He had us come in and he was so awesome to talk with. He worked with us and he's a phenomenal artist. They'll even give you a free little jar of awesome after care. They have several booths and it has a homey feel cause each artist decorates their booth. Bryant was my guy and he did a great job. 10\10 would come back and recommend to my friends.

I went in for a daith piercing to help my migraines. I don’t do great with needles and have a very low tolerance for pain. I was freaking out bad and everyone was SO friendly. The staff all talked me down and answered all my questions very friendly and professionally. I didn’t have an appt but was in and out within 30 min. Great experience! If I end up needing another piercing I will 100% be back!

I don’t know what kind of metal this place uses for piercing jewelry but I suspect it’s not good. Both my friend and I had piercings done here on the same day and both had BAD reactions. Her cartilage had an allergic dermatitis-type response and she had to have the earring removed and get a steroid shot just to manage the swelling. I would’ve thought that was a fluke except that my own piercing also rejected the earring, PLUS the earring BROKE at the top, leaving the little shard of metal below the jewel embedded in my ear. I couldn’t get the piece out and the hole closed so now I just have metal in my ear forever I guess?!?! Not ideal? I would say? I have six (6) other piercings and I’ve NEVER had anything like this happen before. Plus it happened to two of us??? I don’t know what this shop’s doing but it’s bad. It might be good for tattoos but sure as hell don’t go here for piercings. I recommend Koi In Salt Lake. They’ve always done a great job for me and they’re very clear about using implant-grade titanium or gold for their piercing jewelry.

We took our baby girl to get her ears pierced last week. Frank pierced her ears! They look perfect and we have had no issues! They also told me in 3-4 weeks I can bring in my own earnings and they will sterilize them and put them in for me! So awesome! Thanks my pride!

I got my lip pierced here a few months ago. I was instantly greeted and everyone was friendly. I was a walk in client and did not have to wait very long. The peircer came and got me I told her I wanted my lip pierced. She told me something wasn't working or didn't have something on hand but not to worry it was still sanitary. Her bedside manner was a little awkward. Even though she had told whatever wasn't working I still went ahead and let her proceed. I did have to stop her though she wasn't going to show me what kind of labaret she was going to pierce me with. I asked her to look at it first. After I approved she was going to proceed again but before she did so I had to ask what were my options when I came back to get it switched out. Definitely not the largest jewelry selection they claim to have on the website. I basically had 3 or 4 options. So I decided it would still be ok. I let her peirce my lip. Which was quick and fairly painless. She didn't hand me a mirror to look at it or anything. Just peirced it and said I was done. Now that I have had it awhile it is definitely crooked. Not the worst experience but not the greatest. I have had my lip pierced professionally two times before. Average experience but I definitely won't come back or refer anyone over.

If I could give this more than 5 stars I most definitely would. I drove from salt lake after work because I had heard such good things about this shop. I didn't have an appointment, but as I soon as I walked in I was greeted and made to feel welcome. The girl at the front was so sweet and was patient with me trying to choose a font for my tattoo. She helped me decide on what one would look best for my son's name. Raul was the most chill tattoo artist I've ever had work done by and he made sure I was completely comfortable before he started tattooing. He was very personable and did an amazing job on a tattoo that meant a lot of me. They close at midnight and my tattoo wasn't quite done yet, but he never rushed anything and he made sure the tattoo was done well, which I truly appreciated. Everyone there was so friendly and the shop was super clean. I definitely will recommend this place to more people from here on out. Thank you guys for the great experience.

I had a great experience here! Everybody there was so friendly! I've already had one tattoo that I got somewhere else, but My Pride Tattoo was a much better experience. The artist who did my tattoo was Bryan, and he did a very quick job, but it was still very well done! I'm also a very shy person and am not great at making small talk. It always makes me uncomfortable when I'm at a hair salon or some other place and I keep being asked questions about my life and interests and other things, so I'm glad that this wasn't my experience here. It might seem like a weird thing to comment on, but it just made me feel a lot more comfortable. I have a few plans for future tattoos and when I'm ready I will definitely be coming back here!

Went on a mission to get my friends daughter's piercings that she wanted for her 16th birthday. Had to drive from Orem to salt lake and back and made it running up to the door at 12:01am when they close at midnight. They were so cool about doing her piercings and Frankie the owner even gave her a birthday discount as well as his personal phone number to text him if she had any questions with making sure they heal properly. So glad we didn't do all that driving for nothing. Great customer service! Professional and clean atmosphere! And piercings look awesome! Thank you for being so welcoming when it was time to close. I'm sure we will be back in the future!!

We actually went to get my 10 year olds ears pierced and I'm so glad we went this route. Super friendly girl Samara did it and she was great with my daughter. I love that the earrings are flat on the back instead of the sharp kind you have to wear if you go the mall route.

I'm giving this place a three star review and here's why... When I got there, there was a lady that had walked in ahead of me. Understandably they started helping her first, but when I walked in after her, I was not greeted or anything or even told to hang on just a minute while they helped the person ahead of me. Nothing. I stood there awkwardly for about five to seven minutes before another person walked in, who was instantly greeted and asked what he was in there for. When he mentioned he was in there for a piercing and they told him the piercing was next door. I was there to get my helix done so when I heard this, I followed him next door where, after he was taken care of, I was instantly greeted and instructed on what I would need to do. The complete opposite of how I was treated next door. They answered all my questions, were friendly, and got me taken care of. Needless to say, I probably won't be going for tattoos if that's how they treat certain people, but if anyone needs a piercing, I would recommend this place. Thank you to the girls that helped me and took care of what I needed.

I took my 6 year old here to get her ears pierced for her birthday and they did such a great job! The man doing the piercings was so nice to her, talked to her to keep her calm, and was very professional. She even told her dad everything he told her afterwards. Then, when one of the posts came unscrewed and fell out 3 weeks later, I called them and they told me to come in and they would put a new post in for free. They had great customer service and made sure my daughter was well taken care of. I have 2 more daughters and wouldn’t hesitate taking them here to get their ears pierced. I had my nipple pierced for a year and a half and Frankie pierced it wrong and went through some nerves he wasn’t suppose to go through so I’m on antibiotics I took it out 9 months ago because it was bothering me and I went to see my doctor because it swelled up like a balloon and now I’m on antibiotics and if that doesn’t work I have to get surgery so please don’t go to my pride go to convicted ink. I had been suffering from migraines for 4 years as a result from a car accident. I’ve met with doctor after doctor, and even had surgery to try to help, and nothing has. After a disappointing doctors visit, I decided to take back my life and try the daith piercing. I was really nervous, but the girl who did my piercing talked me through it and checked in with me to see how I was doing. It was fast, pretty painless and I’m happy to report that I woke up for the first time without a headache in almost 4 years. The shop was clean and the staff was really friendly! I’ll definitely be back to order jewelry and have it changed! Highly recommend this place!

Piercings- Jaysha has done 6 ear piercings for me. A couple weird ones. She knows her stuff! She gave me good recommendations for unique piercings that would look good with the shape of my ears. She was really patient with me and not annoyed at all when I had her move the dot around multiple times. There was an issue with the placement of one of my piercings. I called her and she was grateful I called, didn't make me feel bad at all about making the complaint. She went above and beyond in compensating for the mistake. All of the piercings healed perfectly so far.

I went in for an industrial bar piercing and the girl who did it pierced one hole and stopped realizing she had not taken the jewelry out of the drawer to put into my ear. She then couldn't find the piercing for my industrial and ended up using a very long bar piercing saying "this should work, let's just try and see" then pierced the other side with no warning. My piercing is way too long (like an inch of extra piercing) which worries me because I hear it can cause it to not heal properly. I would have rather her say she didn't have the correct piercing and sent me elsewhere rather that give me one that is not correct and way too long that I am embarrassed of how big it is. I didn't receive any after care instructions whatsoever and ended up paying 80 dollars when they told me it would only be 60. Now I have to find a different piercer so they can hopefully change my bar to a properly sized one without infecting my ear. Very clean shop and very nice staff who do great tattoos I just wish my piercing experience was a little better.

I went in to get a tattoo and was met by a teenage kid at the front counter. Instead of meeting with the tattoo artist to sketch my tattoo, the kid from the front counter took clip art off the internet and photo shopped it to create a tattoo that wasn't at all what i was wanting. When I asked for some changes, he was totally put out. When he was finished with it, my heart sank at how awful it was. It didn't look anything like I wanted it to. I asked him if the tattoo artist made any changes or tweaks to the design and the kid told me, what you see is what you get. I left and didn't go back.

I got my septum pierced and it was such a smooth process!! Travis is super funny and he was so gentle during the whole process! My husband ended up getting a tattoo as well and such great work!! Can’t even draw their own tattoos! Almost Every single piece I’ve seen from here has been copy and pasted from google/pintrest. I went in looking to get a tattoo, i showed them a few reference photos and was told they could immediately get me in. I was surprised since it usually takes atleast a few hours to draw up your own design. I have multiple tattoos from other shops around the country, not once have I had someone just print off the photo and not create their own version. It feels cheap, tacky, and impersonal. The exact opposite of what a tattoo experience should be... I almost feel bad writing this because the staff was very nice, but I came for quality art not nice. On top of that the shop reaked of marijuana and was clouded with vape smoke. I walked out and don’t think I will ever walk back in.

A while back I got my ears pierced at My Pride, which was an awesome experience, and when the jewelry fell out on the second day and the piercing started closing up, I went straight back and they didn't charge me at all to get it redone and put a new stud in. That was awesome. Then yesterday I decided to get my first tattoo done. I would have never thought in a million years that some of the best tattoo artists in Utah would be in Utah county. This shop is clean with a good atmosphere. More than fair on price. The level of artistry is unmatched. I got a huge piece that took many sessions and it was easy to text the artist and set up the appointments when needed. I have many tattoos but the big piece I got from here is my favorite and not just because of what it means to me but because of how well it was done.

Wouldn’t recommend. I had an Appointment at 1, artist messed around until almost 2. Then he quickly went through my tattoo. Line work was very sloppy. The whole tattoo was very very sloppy. Just a warning to those who are looking for attention to detail and good quality work. Look elsewhere.

I came into My Pride back in October to get a lobe piercing done, and had a great experience back then with Samara. I came back about a month ago to get a nose piercing done to see that Samara no longer worked there. I initially did not see this as a problem, and decided to still get the piercing. The staff was very nice and the process went smoothly, but a few days later the piercing had started to sink into my face. It had gotten to the point to were the jewelry had sunken beneath my skin and was sitting under it. I went back in to get it fixed, and when I explained the situation to my piercer she said that when I had gotten it done she didn't have the correct jewelry on hand, but still did the piercing anyways. I found this to be very unprofessional and would have much preferred for her to have told me about the jewelry situation, and have me come back a different day. She did switch out the jewelry to a longer bar and a larger stud, but it caused me a lot of anxiety before hand to ses the piercing sinking into my skin due to too short of a bar and a tiny stud. After a similar situation happening to my friend as well, I will not be coming back to My Pride for any more piercings. I used to love this shop and am very disappointed to see the the drop in quality in just a few months.

I got my first tattoo here along with my second “first was a small piece on my back second a half sleeve” and the atmosphere here was great everyone was checking on each other’s work. Both my pieces were done by Beto who is amazing he took what I sent him and brought out some serious artist skills. He also did some pieces on my friend who loves them simply by seeing his work on me and seeing how he loves his work. Definitely do NOT recommend this place for any kind of piercing. I went here to get my septum piercied only to get it done crooked and in one of the most painful places. I had to get a second one done at Koi which I barely even felt. Total waste of money

I got a tattoo done by Frankie because everyone said he was great. It was of a tiger crawling down and the top half (tail and back) looks pretty good but the bottom half (head, shoulders and front paws) is an absolute mess. It looks very messy and poorly done. Paws don’t match, the shoulder is clearly a mess up and the head and face is skewed, warped and sloppy. Also he seemed very rushed and unprofessional during the appointment and took about 30 minutes at the beginning of my appointment to mess around. This tattoo had a lot of meaning behind it to me and was supposed to be empowering but now it’s more embarrassing than anything. I don’t know about the other artists but I definitely don’t recommend Frankie.

Doug did amazing work on matching tattoos for me and my daughter. He was able to keep all the detail and fine lines in the smaller pieces, and would always check to see that we were happy with the way the design was going. Every time I go here, I get some bad service! All I want is a tattoo, but they always give the runaway. Either say come back tomorrow or later when an artist is available! My wife and I went here to get seemingly simple tattoos of our wedding date on our fingers. We went here because of the good review and everyone said that Frankie was really good so we booked our appointment with Frankie and everything went fine with that. During the actual tattooing part Frankie was seemed rushed and like he didn’t care at all the lines are incredibly uneven and some even crossing over others it’s hard for us the even read it when we know what it says. We get that couples getting “couple tattoos” is probably ever tattoo artist worst nightmare but needless to say these are extremely important and meaning full for us and even more obvious permanent. We will be going elsewhere to try and get these fixed to where they are at least legible or more likely covered up with a different tattoo. We are both severely disappointed and extremely unhappy with not only how we were treated but how our tattoos were nothing more than a “throw it on and take their money” job

This was my third time in this shop, everyone who works here is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I went on a Saturday night to get my ear pierced with my best friend. There were quite a few people already in the shop and we were just a walk in, so we were not sure how long the wait would be. But it was a very short wait. The girl Piercing our ears was extremely knowledgeable and fun to talk to. She even replaced the jewelry in some of my other piercings for me. I went here because of the good reviews but my experience was anything but good. I came in to get my septum pierced and the woman who pierced it did it completely crooked, so I had to have the jewelry taken out and have it re-pierced just minutes after and she messed it up again..so I had to have the jewelry taken out again. My nose was bleeding a bunch and I felt sick having it done again immediately after just to have it done wrong. I left with 4 new holes in my nose & no piercing. It was a very traumatic and disappointing experience. Luckily, I received a refund and an option to come back to get a free piercing..worth it? No. I just wanted to warn anyone who was thinking about getting a nose piercing, because this isn’t the place.

I just got a tattoo done here by Bryant and I'm incredibly impressed. A quiet guy but open to any questions I had, which made the experience very comfortable. I also called last minute and I was able to get in within the hour, and I was done and out an hour later. The tattoo looks great and everyone is very impressed by the precise lettering and how detailed it is despite its simplicity. The vibe of the entire shop is extremely friendly and has very reasonable pricing. Once the tattoo heals and I'm able to see the final result, I'm willing to bet that this will be my go-to shop for all future work. Overall great experience.

First time here was on Halloween for a flash tattoo special. They had lots of artists and fun styles to chose from so I thought why not. The staff seems a bit young but with a great vibe. I got one of the flash tattoos from a very young amazing skilled artist Joseph, what an amazing guy. I'm glad I stopped in and checked them out. I think I may have found a hidden gem. What a breath of fresh air to find a decent place in Utah county. Can't wait to get my next tattoo here.

Super disappointed in this place. I tried for three days to get ahold of Frankie about scheduling a piercing & he told me he would call back but never did. Then when i finally talked to him, we scheduled an appointment for 4pm that day to pierce my baby’s ears- so we drove 25 min & then he never showed up. Waited 30 minutes before giving up & leaving. His front desk staff was super nice & friendly with my toddler while we waited, that’s why I even gave one star.

Just FYI the only reason they have such high ratings is because they tell you if you leave a five star review they will do free touch ups for life..poor service, terrible work. Tattoo ended up way too small, crooked lines, one of the worst tattoos. I would definitely urge you to find another place.

Got my first tattoo here with the artist E and he was great. Came back a second time for a bigger tattoo and Frankie was the artist this time. I had read the one star reviews and they were all pretty much about Frankie, I thought to myself “he is just tracing a picture I brought in, what could go wrong?” Well, everything! He didn’t print it big enough and free handed a bit and it didn’t look like the picture, he walked away prob a dozen times to do other things which is extremely unprofessional. Worst of all he didn’t actually finish the tattoo, when I called and tried to tell him I want it finished I just got blown off over and over. Luckily I went to The Tattoo Shop” and they fixed his mistakes and finished it for a reasonable rate. Frankie charged $150/HR and he didn’t have to draw anything up. Overcharged and unprofessional. If you go, for the love of God, don’t use Frankie.

I was pretty disappointed with my tattoo. My boss had a tattoo done here and it looked amazing so she recommended I go here. This is my very first tattoo and I had a pretty bad experience. My artist went super deep causing me to scar and I was bleeding profusely after. The line work wasn’t too bad but it definitely needs to be touched up. Unfortunately I don’t even want to go back and have them do that. I would say overall the tattoo is okay and you can see what it is, but I’m really upset that there’s scars and sloppy line work.

I could not be more pleased with this shop. I only have two tattoos - a tiny heart semicolon, and now a skeleton hand holding a rose. I got my semicolon done by E (or M?? Sorry!). He's a very sweet, chill, and attractive artist. I was very comfortable getting my first tattoo from him. The other artists were very supportive of me and made the experience fun. It means so much to me. I craved my next tattoo immediately. Finally, my birthday came around. I requested Franke, because I enjoy his work. He was so nice, funny, and really patient with me. I hadn't realized how painful substantial tattoos were. He assured me I could come back if I wasn't pleased or if I had any questions. As for the ink, I expected a beautiful piece, but this was above and beyond expectation. Every person I show it to is awed. They think it's "dope", "amazing", "badass", and "beautiful". I'm shocked at the price it ended up being. It is easily worth twice as much. I'm SO pleased with it. THANK YOU, Frankie!
