Piercing - Jeremy is amazing. He's kind, and gentle, while not just telling you what you want to hear, but what you need to hear. He's the only piercer I will go to in the whole state. Fairly priced. Why then did I give them a 2 star rating you ask? Looking for a tattoo- look somewhere else, Lost art is waaay over priced. Im not going to say the artists aren't great, because they are Great artists.. however they are full of themselves. They say you get what you pay for, as a way to bully people into paying more. For something they could have gotten elsewhere, while being just as good for less money. Also, a few of them are down right rude. My brother went in for a tribute piece. On his calf. Paid almost 300 bones. It wasn't super detailed, has some shading. Looks great, except for a small area that has scabbed badly. (Maybe, maybe not the artists fault) I went to my tattoo shop... got a much more detailed piece on my calf. 3D effects, lots of little lines, and lots of shading. Paid 120. You dont always have to pay more for great work. Both tattoos are pictured. No I won't name the other shop, or artist. Since this isnt about pulling clients to a specific place. Just an FYI for those shopping around. Just because they quote you high, doesn't mean you cant find the same caliber of work, for less.

Big Dave is an amazing artist. I recommend him to everyone who is looking to get tatted. Schmoe was easily one of the best as well before he passed. Just about everyone who hasn't given them a 5 star rating isn't unhappy with their tattoo, but say they're pricy or rude. I have spent a lot of time in the chair (at Lost Art) and NEVER felt uncomfortable in the environment or received bad customer service. Good work isn't cheap, & cheap work isn't good. If you want quality work EVERY TIME i recommend these guys. One of Utah's best shops.

Went for Friday 13th tattoo and they say they came out and called my name but i was sittin there for almost 2 hours and they never did and had me leave without getting tattooed even tho they said they was tattooing until the last one. It was me and 3 buddies and we all was sitting there and none of them ever heard them call my name. Waste of time.

Love this shop! The people are great (apparently unless you are a yuppy ass with an attitude like I read in a few reviews before mine). These are artists, not customer service reps hired to deal with annoying bubblegummers. Big Dave does great work and is really friendly. The shop itself is very clean and has awesome art work and furniture throughout. I don't go anywhere else. As for price, you get what you pay for. Take yourself to some second-class place and pay less if you can't afford the art at this shop.

Jer, Dean and Co have been treating people the way you expect, making friends and leaving some of the best, brightest, detailed tattoos and piercings in the O. Looking for a new Artist? Maybe a piercing? No matter how different, traditional, new school to old school you will find the style and Artist to match. Friendly, helpful and always ready to go Lost Art had it in 95 and still having it 20+ years later should tell you all you need go know.

I got my ears pierced after years of not doing it because I always got keloids. After talking with the piercer, I discovered had I just gone to a professional instead of some mall booth, I’d have been wearing them years ago! I love mine and super happy I went! I have never experienced such utter disrespect and lack of customer service than I did the moment I entered the door of Lost Art Tattoo. The staff was outright rude, they discredited all inquiries about my tattoo request and ideas, acted disrespectful about my interests telling me things like my skin will sag and my tattoo would never work, and talked down to me like I was a child. Although they offered an affordable rate and had time for a walk-in, I would NEVER let these guys tattoo me. 0/10.

Went to see Jeremy for a nose piercing, I've never been there before, I was going to get my nose pierced for a second time because where I went the first time did a high robbery and screwed up the piercing. Jeremy was patient and he spent one on one time to discuss things with me and answered all my questions. He did a perfect job on my nose gave me step by step cleaning instructions.. I was really comfortable, to get my nose pierced in the same spot I thought it was going to hurt bad, but it felt like a pinch and bam its done.. He did a really good job I would definitely go back to him and recommend everyone to him. He's amazing

Absolutely impressed! Went in to see these guys to get an awful, faded and blurred tattoo on my upper arm covered up. My artist, Dave, drew my design freehand and by the time he was done, I couldn't even tell the other tattoo had ever been there! I just recently visited, Jeremy, at Lost Art Tattoo. Jeremy is a Professional Piercer, who did a few piercings for me 20 years ago. I was so impressed by his knowledge, strict adherence to asepsis and professionalism that I found him again after 20 years! Jeremy is even better and has grown in his art, I was so impressed! Having come from a medical background, I can tell whether someone really knows what they are doing. Jeremy is the best as far as I am concerned, I would not go to anyone else. My daughter has had only good experiences with Jeremy as well. I highly recommend Lost Art Tattoo, and Jeremy. I have had both my nose and tragus pierced here. Jeremy, does an amazing job! He makes sure you are comfortable and talks you through the whole process. He takes his job very seriously. He always uses top notch jewelry and exceptional sanitary precautions. If you need any advice or just want to switch your jewelry out, he is more than willing to help you out even months after he has done the piercing.

I went there a while ago...The guy didn't even follow what I said and we agreed upon they were rude when my friend and I went to get our friendship tattoo done he won't let her back to make sure it all matched up there's parts I have to get touched up, and if you touch it you can tell he pushed way to hard, I'd never go there again...but it does look okay oh and my friends turned out way bigger than mine..

Terrible service! The artist assigned to us made us feel like an inconvenience (made a snide remark about having to do work when we walked in). We showed him a simple idea that he could could not seem to grasp (looked confused and repeatedly asked us to explain), then made belittling comments about our idea and the location we wanted it. Finally we talked about the price and his estimates were outrageous! Rude and sarcastic through the whole conversation.

I had gone to Lost Art Tattoo to get a nasal piercing, and it was great. Jeremy did amazing. I really enjoyed being there. It's CLEAN and open and comfortable. He told explained the process and told me it hurts less than I think. He asked me to close my eyes so I wouldn't tense, I took a few deep breaths, and it was done. He made me feel comfortable about getting it, and put a dot on my nose to see if I liked the placement. After he told me aftercare, and the process of healing. My boyfriend and I are making this our place to get our tattoos and any piercings done. I love it.
