My experience couldn't have been better. First of all, the place is impeccably clean. Like, doctors office clean. Me likey. I got my first tattoo done by Jroo, who didn't hold back from singing along to the music while he worked on my arm! I am very particular about what I want and the result is stunning. I haven't stopped staring at my beautiful new baby and so far it's healing beautifully! Wish I knew how to add a picture of it to this review. Every cent has been more than worth it. I'm coming back to him for my future tattoos without hesitation. I know 2 other people who have gone to FCT and 1 other person who's gone to Jroo, and everyone has had the same experience I had. Consistency doesn't lie and it's plain to see that this has got to be the best Tattoo Parlor in Salt Lake!

I had a Tattoo that needed rework and partial cover up. I scheduled with Jroo and had to wait a few months. WORTH THE WAIT!!! He has amazing skills and Frost City Tattoo has an amazing atmosphere. Friendly Clean Professional, all the things that are typically hard to find in a shop. Jroo spent 10 hours with me and took the time to do great work with intense detail. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I had 4 sessions separated into two weeks for a 3/4 sleeve with artist Lala Ellsworth and could not be happier with experience! The professionalism and welcoming atmosphere left me with a bitter-sweet parting. Everyone there treats each other like family and yet they remain focused to produce some of the greatest pieces I've ever seen. All of the artist are pros! I would reccomend this place to anyone looking to get inked.

This is the best tattoo shop! Amazing and very comfortable environment. Levi is a great artist that I would highly recommend for any tattoo. I knew he was a great choice for the tattoo I've wanted. It is a cover-up and still a work in progress, but he is great at making sure all the details are there and it looks amazing. He seems to enjoy taking on a challenge to do any tattoo you may want. Ive been working on a large piece with Levi, three sessions down and couldnt be happier. My initial impression of Levi was what had me sold on choosing him as an artist. He was more excited about the work we were planning than I was. I had done my homework and knew he was the artist that could take on my super custom hyper realistic sock. We’ve got a ways to go but he has more than proven I made the right choice. Frost City is a beautiful location, relaxed, amazing people and founded by one of the best. Its a privelege to get work done here and be in the company of these most impressive artists and human beings.

I walked in because I wanted to know what their price would be to overline a tattoo someone gave me on a drunken night and make it presentable. *shop it self looks clean good vibes the other artist look really nice too* Some hispanic artist came to talk to me (not hating im hispanic my self, but idk his name) Treated me so poorly like I was stupid, outside it reads “walk ins welcome” and he’s trying to tell me its by appt only, and said “we are like the Gucci of tattoo shops and you are coming into Gucci asking for Payless shoes. You should go to a side street tattoo shop” Honestly left a terrible impression, and out of respect of everyone else who was in there just left without calling him out. Its not like I was getting the tattoo that day, I just had questions on how much I would be looking at, and how long it usually takes to work my schedule around them.

I originally set an appointment with Jroo to get a piece . At the initial consultation he advised he wouldn’t be able to complete a coverup as it wasn’t going to be dark enough. So we decided on a different design in a different spot . On the day of my appointment he tried to switch back to the coverup design but I had already mentally prepared for what we decided. We came to the mutual decision I would get what we decided at the consultation and add on the coverup at a later time to tie everything together. I paid $1000 for my piece he told me to text him when I was ready for the coverup part. I text him and would you believe he told me don’t text him anymore but to email. I emailed him and waited several months for a response (received none) I called the shop over a course of a month to try and schedule my appointment because Jroo book far in advance. I spoke with the owner who says he has no control over those things because each tattoo artist does there own scheduled . I asked the owner if anyone else could do the tattoo he said yeah and took my info down and said they would give me a call back and never did. Customer service is so hard to find in certain industries. I give up

i met with Levi for a consultation for a coverup back in march . I showed him what he would be covering up and he explained to me in detail what the process was to cover up my old tattoo. i had a nasty old incomplete upper sleeve that was a mess tgatbit need to be covered and i did think any one could do it . So after talking to Levi he got me in .I gave him 100% freedom on the design. The day of the session he showed me the rendering and i was blown away by what he was showing. I mean there were certain things i wanted in there but what he created was more then i could have come up with myself. He designed everything I had in mind and the attention to detail outstanding. The tattoo process was flawless. When you step into FrostCity those guys always make you feel like you are family in there. I still have a few more sessions to finish with the cover up but with the work he did so far has come out so amazing. I couldnt have thanked him enough for the work he did .
