There's a reason why these guys are at the top. They go above and beyond to keep their clients safe and clean. They have all the technical ability and experience that other shops have, but they also add true artistic value to clients because of who they are as people. Luke is a badass and Jon is a genius. I believe that it shows in the art that they are creating. I love this shop and what it is doing for Salt Lake City.

I went in for a tattoo of dog paws, I gave them plenty of reference images, tried to explain how I wanted the work done, and the artist, Jon said that he understood. He had the reference image printed out and ready for the tattoo. I wanted dog paws done in the style of an ink print, similar to how a fingerprint looks. What I got was black and grey shaded cartoon paw prints. I would never go here again. I asked for a specific design, provided ample references, and was reassured that everything would go exactly to plan. I had no issue with service though, and the shop was well kept and inviting, so that was nice at least.

We love Aloha!! Each one of my 2 girls has received 2 tattoos from Aloha. One of which was an amazing original design. All of them consisted of A LOT of line work and they are literally perfect!! Luke is their artist. He is a phenomenal artist and is just as amazing as a person. He has a very real, personal and comfortable personality, which is extremely important to me considering he is decorating my daughters. He is a Dad himself and it shows. He is patient, encouraging and honest. The shop is extremely clean and professional but casual at the same time! Thank you Aloha for ALWAYS making our experience perfect!

I absolutely love this tattoo shop!! I came here for my first tattoo, and the artist was very kind; I had Jon for the artist, and he talked me through the whole process, and was very friendly and kind. This shop is very clean and organized, very modern, all employees I have encountered are very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. For my next one here, it was a walk in, and they did their best to get me in, and follow the exact specifications, and everything. The art is beautiful, and they tell you everything you need to do to prepare for the tattoo, and for aftercare. Also, I absolutely love that each artist puts their own flair on each piece! Both of my pieces from them turned out exactly how I imagined. Thank you guys so much!! This is my favorite tattoo shop, hands down!

I went here to get my first tattoo and the whole thing was such a positive experience. The artist really listened to what I wanted as a design and gave me professional suggestions without pressuring me to change anything. He did a great job preparing me for the process, and then explaining aftercare steps. The shop is clean and comfortable, and you can tell they take pride in their work and want people to enjoy the experience.

I got two Tattoos from Jon Paulson and he does some amazing work. He takes his time, but still tries to get a lot done every session. Everyone at the shop is chill and aren't afraid to tell you their opinion if they have a better idea or options on a tattoo. If you're on the edge about getting a tattoo, don't be afraid to talk to them. They're nice guys and will help you out.

From the moment i walked in i was welcomed and felt comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. The whole energy/feel of the place is very comfortable and non abrasive and is VERY clean. Chance Haider did a piece on my left hand, popped the fresh clean needles in front of me, and got to work. By far the best tattoo i have and will see him for future works. Thank you Aloha!

Just got a tattoo with my fiance here and they were amazing! Chance did mine and I was blown away. Even though it was a simple piece he spent his time on it making sure it was exactly what I wanted. Kayla did the same for my fiance she even stayed late to make sure it was finished and perfect. I could not recommend this place enough! The people are kind, the atmosphere is chill, and the artists are incredibly talented.

If you are like me and looking to get your first tattoo, you probably did extensive research. After all, that piece of art will be with you for a very long time. My research led me to Aloha Tattoos; specifically Jon. I was interested in getting a Tribal tattoo and he is the guy who has been doing this for years. We had multiple consultations where I bombarded Jon with questions. He was very professional and patient, and helped me with the design I had in mind. After 10 weeks, we finalized the design. It took this long before I am extremely picky and wanted my first tattoo to be perfect. I cant praise Jon's patience with me an his professionalism enough. I would definitely recommend this place.

This place is amazing, all the artists here do great work and are very friendly. Brett (toast) did my twin and my tattoos, and they are just beautiful. We walked in, and he really took the time to give us perfect tattoos. Definitely getting all my tattoos here!

Went in today to get a memorial piece done for my dad based on a handwriting snippet from an old card. Brett did an excellent job and really took the time to work out the best sizing and placing with me, while also allowing me to watch Netflix while he tattooed me (because even after multiple pieces I’m still wimpy when it comes to getting inked). I am so happy with the work, and my family loves it too! Brett perfectly replicated my dad’s funky handwriting and did it quickly and efficiently. Great artist!

These guys are amazing!! I went it with my best friend that had an appointment with Jon to get his first tattoo done. I didn’t plan on getting my first tattoo done that day but I had a few ideas floating around that I wanted to bounce of some of the artists. While my friend was getting his done I sat down with Luke and told him what I was thinking and that it all had pretty significant meaning to me. He then went to town in his own creative mind and came up with an amazing sketch that i just fell in love with that ended up with me in the chair and a tattoo on my arm! Luke was super chill and patient and respectful with me knowing it was my first and it was important to me. He never pressured me into anything and just understood what I wanted really well! The environment is super chill, clean and relaxed but also fun and you can just tell they all take pride in what they do! Aloha is a great place and I’ll definitely be going back for more! My tattoo and my friends both turned out better than we both expected! All these guys are seriously amazingly talented!! I’d recommend them to anybody and everybody!

I just finished my second tattoo with Luke. From beginning to end I feel that Luke really listened to what I was looking for in my design. He’s beyond creative and wonderfully artistic. I felt comfortable immediately upon my arrival because he was very professional. As I described what I was going for, he doodled on his iPad and made notes. It’s pretty amazing to see your thoughts come together in a picture. He captured exactly what I wanted. Thanks for taking the time to capture my vision and I appreciate all of your hard work!

Had a old tattoo refreshed and added on to and it turned out awesome. I am really pleased with the work they did and the service I received. I would how ever say that there pricing is a little inconsistent I was looking at a 2-4 sessions of work and was told that it was $170 first hour $150 second hour and $110 for every hour after that till the piece was done. Everything went as I was planning till the last session when he decided to charge me $170 and $150 for the final two hours. I did bring it to his attention and he just brushed it off and said “yeah that’s how it works”. I paid the final amount and am grateful for the work he did but will not be getting another piece done at this shop.

Honestly, I’m new to the city and am looking for someone to do a pretty decent sized piece on my thigh but after reading the way you reply to your customers, I am appalled how a business can be so rude to their customers, especially for such mediocre work. A good business would try and fix the problem, not just rub salt in the wound. Can’t say how personable the employees are because I won’t be coming in, but maybe switch up whom ever you have leaving reviews. Pathetic.
