Popped in, no appointment. Was greeted instantly, spoke with Davie about some work. He was helpful and seemed interested (some artists couldn’t care less) We got right to work and finished my new tatt in about 3 hrs total. Great experience overall. Would get poked again!

I spent roughly a year looking for a reputable tattoo shop to get exactly what I wanted. From the moment you walk in, you can see the place is clean, and organized. Of all the artists I’ve encountered in Houston, Daniel by far seems the best at what he does. He’s knowledgeable, extremely artistic, and you can tell he’s going to go far in this business. I would highly reccomend him to anyone wishing to hire an artist that has his client’s best intentions at heart. The only constructive feedback I have is the shop seems to need a person in the front to speak to walk-in customers. The artists seem have to constantly stop what they are doing mid-work to answer walk- in questions prolonging your time that you paid for there.

So I had an appointment with Allen for 7:30. We were 10 mins late (I will admit to that) but he had nothing prepared. Plus he "lost" the art that I paid him to do and automatically assumed that we were going through with it before I had even seen any idea for my piece. FYI this would have been my first tattoo, and I was already a bit nervous. Nothing he did or said but any confidence in that he was about to put a permanent mark on my body. He made us wait an hour to "get ready" and didn't even think to at least sketch something out for me to know that he had planned. My boyfriend was already done with him when he didn't even have an art to look at, but I was trying to give him some credit. So we stayed. Poor customer service. And when he went to buy a drink next door, we just left. (Which was rude, but I did not feel comfortable with this and my bf had enough) Than because I had signed all of the paperwork, he had my phone number. First he called, which I ignored. Than he texted me calling me a b**** for leaving and that he was being nice for even willing to still do it since we were "40 mins" late. Which I send him a photo of the card that says 7:30, not 7 on it. And he replied say that I owed him $20 for setting up the machines and all, which I replied that I didn't get my $40 of art, so we are even. I will never recommend this place to anyone. We went somewhere else that had better customer service and I think I saved myself by leaving, even if I lost $40.I just hope that he doesn't use the information he has to bother me again.

I honestly went in with only half of an intention of actually getting a tatoo, now mind you i have wanted one since i was 16 and ive known for the longest in detail what i wanted. I went in with a friend on her suggestion, and i had joel draw me a sketch. I gave him a couple of photos and made some changes and it was like he pulled it from my brain and put it on the page. I honestly tried weasling out of it and i was just going to pay him for the sketch, but he said no ill put it on you (just the trace ink) and told me to wear it for a day or two. But it just looked so amazing i told him to slap it on, that was about a month ago and i could not be happier with the work and detail he put into it. He was a cool guy and i could tell he really worked hard and genuinely cared for his craft. I highly recommend it to anyone .

Only place we will go. All artists seem to be experienced and very good. Place can get very busy and you may have a long wait. Always best to make apt but that’s no guarantee you won’t have to wait. Only reason not 5 is that some artist are not the friendliest.

I was very happy with the price, service, artwork and end result. Strange footnote, my husband had been to Shaw's 30+ years ago and I had no idea. He said it was the only place to get tattooed. I just went in on a whim and got my tattoo done by Jeremy. He is freakin awesome!!! Very nice and friendly, helped me make some good decisions on my piece and would defiantly go back to get more work done from him. He didn't over charge me and actually spent over an hour longer with me than expected and didn't ask to be paid more (we tipped). He did an excellent job. Shop was nice people were nice and very professional. If anyone needs a cover up go see Candi there she does amazing fixes. Jeremy also does portraits.
