Pete is an extremely sharp tattoo genius. Went in just get a few Kanji symbols on my arm and let him work his magic. I am just blown away at how well my new ink came out. I've read positive reviews about this place as a tattoo parlor so I thought that the piercing aspect would be good as well, and I needed some high grade jewelry. As someone who has had several piercings, I know my way around a fantastic piercing parlor to a poor one. This fell into the latter category. First, the piercer argued with my about the gauge of my piercing. Look, I've had this thing for two years--I know what the gauge is! Second, he condescendingly tried talk me out of purchasing titanium jewelry. This is ironic because their site states, "The piercers only use implant grade titanium with internal threading (what is one of the highest grades in jewelry)." Third, he was about to put in an order without even measuring me. I had to insist that he take a look because any decent piercer would. The reason I stayed so long was because I like to support local businesses, but I should have walked after the first point. I don't like being treated like I'm an annoyance rather than a customer so I left the store. The only reason I gave this place two stars is because the young lady at the front desk was very courteous and professional. I'm sure the tattoo artists are great and all, but stay away if you want a decent piercing or someone who treats you with respect.

Best tattoo studio ever! Pete is very passionate about his work and does an excellent job. After researching for months to find a cover up artist, Pistol Pete’s kept coming up. I was a little hesitant at first to contact him because it is 5 hours from where we live. Finally I called and set up a consultation. Okay this experience was wild and I loved it. I went in on valentine's day with my wife to get a set of tattoos, and got a couples discount of 20% It's cash only but there's an atm right next door with a $2 surcharge. Pete gave me an avocado. This man obviously writes reviews for himself because if you actually look at his work, its average on a good day. He tried to take my deposit and not cover my tattoo up because of a disagreement, so I sued him and got my got my money back (check us out on Hot Bench) and you'll see how big this lil' guys ego is. He overcharges for his amateurish doodles and is the self-proclaimed "best cover-up artist in DFW" - Save yourself time/money/and a lifetime of regret for having this dude scribble on you.

I wasnt sure how to reply to the owner's question so I'll just answer here...We came by about a month ago and sat there for about 45 mins without being spoken too.. in the artist defense he was there on his own for a good while with a client. There was a couple before us that was also waiting... when the artist was finished with his client someone else walked in and went straight to the seat. The couple b4 us had a simple quote question ( that they waited over an hour to ask someone) but when they stood up to speak to the artist he snapped on them, told them that the person whom just walked in had been waiting and if they dont want to continue to wait they can go somewhere else. So needless to say they left and wasted their time. We continued to wait and finally a girl walked that worked there (1hr in a half later) just to tell us that we didnt have everything we needed to get what we came for. So we ended up wasting our time as well-over an hour in a half- to be told something that could have been answered upon walking in.. or at least after the first client was finished.

Pete has done my last 2 tattoos and has done a great job. I wasn't for sure what I wanted, but had a general idea on both. He took what I told him and hand drew mine and I loved them. My last tattoo was right below an older I got by someone else, and when he did his he didn't like that the old one was faded and re-colored it for free just so that I would look good! Couldn't ask for a better or more talented person that actually cares about what you are trying to get done. Would highly recommend him to anyone I know!! For the haters that keep trying to say his business is closed on google, you jealous fu*ks need to get a life!

Got my nose pierced here recently. Pete did my piercing. He was very friendly & the studio was clean. My only suggestion is that I wish there was more than just a corkscrew style piercing available my nose piercing, which I am not keen on. I wish he had L jewelry for it, as it feels more comfortable in my nose. That's my only suggestion. Other than that, it was a very positive experience!

From the moment I walked in the door to I left it was an experience I enjoyed and felt my money was well spent. The end result not only covered up the inexperience of another shop but I was extremely satisfied in the quality of work and detail Pete put in making the art work. The finish product was even better than sketch. Just like anything... you get what you pay for, but here I still left feeling like I got more than what I paid for. Thanks Pete and your team for the experience and something which will be unrivaled. You far surpassed the expectation I had.

Excellent tattoo cover up by Pete. Excellent enough to win 1st place in the cover up category at the 2016 Star of Texas Tattoo Art Revival in Austin Texas. I drove from East Texas to Pistol Pete’s Tattoo Saloon in Arlington Texas to meet with him for a consultation to see what could be done to cover up an existing tattoo. Actually there had already been 1 cover up preformed by another tattoo place that was ridiculously terrible. So Pete was really conducting a 2nd cover up that turned great. 4 trips from East Texas to Arlington and 17 hours later a 1st place (double) cover up was created. I get a lot of compliments on it. I would recommend Pistol Pete’s Tattoo Saloon to anyone. Place was extremely clean and sanitary. I will be returning in the future to add on to this tattoo.

Amazing birthday gift to myself! He gave me an upper inner ear piercing and it wasn't as bad as I thought. Whew! He was very skillful and I chose a beautiful small pink blinged out piercing. Plan to go and get my other ear after this one heals. Kudos for making my day!
