Everything was seamless and easy and he was super professional from the internal follow up to actual tattoo which turned out awesome. He gave me a great rate and I will definitely be back for more work from him. He's a pro and I'm excited to see the new shop.

I was referred to Mr. David Poe by a friend who got her tattoo done by him. As soon as I saw his work through Instagram and his website I knew I had to get my first tattoo from him! It was so quick & easy to set up an appt. through his website. The day I got my tattoo I was kinda nervous, but once he started it went by so quick and smooth! I thought my tattoo was going to hurt so much, but it really didn't. & the healing process right now is going by really good too. Long story short, I had a GREAT experience and plan on getting my next tattoo with Mr. David Poe!!!

David is an AMAZING artist! The scheduling process is super easy. He is very thorough during his consultations and takes pride in his work. He has done 2 tattoos for me so far, to include a cover-up that several other artists told me couldn't be done. ... and it is by far my favorite of the ones I have. People constantly comment on the detail and line work. Best of all he wants your feedback and wants to make sure your experience is the best possible. I'll be scheduling my next very soon!

I left a bad review and they deleted it. Do not go to Johnny Bravo because he does bad tattoos, he cancels appointments, and he gets mad if you ask him to resize or reposition the stencil after it's been printed. I've had 4 tattoos from him and they all came out bad. The last tattoo I paid $450 in full, he did half of it but then he got mad and never finished. I asked the shop owners for help and they did nothing, they didn't even respond. Here's some pictures of bad tattoos he did on me.

Moon Tattoo is amazing! David and Tina Poe (the owners of the shop as well as two of the artists in the shop) are both incredibly kind and very professional. Johnathan Bravo is another artist at the shop (whom I've personally had as an artist and gave me my most favorite tattoo I have!) I just love him and can't say enough good things about his work! All three of them are amazing artists and I've seen first-hand the high quality tats they provide. The shop itself is great too! Nice, clean layout to the place and very nice touch with the matching work spaces! I highly recommend any of the artists here depending on what you want done and they definitely get 5 stars from me as well as a repeat customer and a great spokesperson for the shop! There are a whole lot of tat shops in Austin and I'm sure many are great, but I promise you won't be disappointed if you go with Moon! ✌❤

My tattoo from David Poe was an amazing experience, and I now have an immaculate piece of artwork I get to wear forever. I wish I could give more stars; he went above and beyond in both the art, making the experience comfortable and easy, and just being an awesome and easy going human to chat with. I can't thank him, and this shop, enough for existing, and definitely plan on being back.

I got a small portrait of my dog tattooed by Jonny Bravo about a month ago and it's exquisite! Jonny is a true artist who wants to do work that he's proud of, so you can trust you are in good hands. He books up fast, but once I was in the pipeline to get on his books, it was easy to set up a consultation/schedule; he's very flexible on scheduling as long as you communicate if you need to reschedule or anything! The shop is super clean and chic; it's as much an art gallery as it is a tattoo shop! My session with Jonny was super chill and he really makes sure to capture all the details of what you want. I'd highly recommend him! David Poe, one of the co-owners, actually did an arm piece for me about 2 years ago that is absolutely beautiful, and I really enjoyed my time with him as well! He's very friendly, personable, and professional. His wife Tina was there working while I was getting tattooed with Jonny and she seems like an absolute sweetheart. All in all, I think you cant go wrong getting a piece done by anyone here. One of the best tattoo spots in Austin for sure!

David's attention to detail and artistry is exactly what you want when you get your first tattoo. I fell in love with his work because of how precise he is with his line. I visited Moon Tattoo a few days ago and got my first tattoo ever by artist David Poe. I can't say enough how happy I am with the finished product! The environment and staff were very relaxed and pleasant which made my first tattoo experience the best it could be and put me at ease. All of the artist at this shop are very talented. Just got a piece done from him and I couldn't be more pleased. He was very accommodating and easy going with the design process. I'd like to think I wasn't that picky but I had a couple key elements I wanted included in the tattoo. He tweaked the initial design and when he brought out the sketch I was in love with it! 7 hours later I'm in love with the finished result! Also his wife is super sweet and was very helpful with scheduling!
