I had a really great experience at Great Wave, with Jenna giving me my very first tattoo! I am really happy with the work she did! I emailed them on Monday morning, and by late afternoon I was walking out with my tattoo finished. As a gay guy, I’m sometimes apprehensive about going into new places, but this shop felt very welcoming. It’s clean, open, and really beautiful! There is so much artwork and color everywhere that I felt very at ease. And the location is great! Somehow it’s convenient but still feels quiet. I can’t thank them enough! I will definitely return

I went as a walk-in and they fit me in. Ben Siebert is a freaking genius. I gave him an idea of what I wanted and he immediately drew a design that was perfect. Never had a tat artist create something so spot-on for me before (I'm picky). Light hand, too. Didn't hurt. The tat looks great. Relaxed atmosphere. Good location. I'd go back for my next.

Absolutely love this place and their staff! I usually get my tattoos done by someone in San Marcos, but since he was out of town, I had to find some other options. I saw the website, and every artist seemed talented and I had no preference for who did my tattoo (which is rare). I was on a time constraint since my friend was in town only for a couple of days, and they were able to fit me in the day I called. Nick did my tattoo and i'm more than thrilled with it, and James did my best friend's tattoo and did a stellar job. Definitely coming to y'all in the future!

Drove up with my buddy from Houston so that he could get his tattoo done. This was a very clean and professional facility. Judging by the artwork on the walls the artists here have definitely spent their time researching various art forms and can do some very amazing work regarding Asian/Japanese style tattoos. Very down to earth guys, they look and work in a well polished manner compared to some of the other studios I have seen.

Sometimes it can be so incredibly nerve racking to go into a tattoo shop. Everyone at Great Wave makes you feel comfortable when you walk through the door. There isn't this air of pretentiousness and that your tattoo idea might be "stupid". I have gotten several tattoos for Jenna Lee and I will follow her wherever she goes. How do I even describe her...she gives you a sense of calm just being around her. I have asked her to do several different styles of tattoo and every one I am in love with and constantly receive compliments. All of the guys in the shop are so kind which in years of being tattooed, I have found not to be the case in a lot of shops. I recommend Jenna at Great Wave to everyone I possibly can. Everyone there does absolutely amazing work as well. Can't say enough great things about this shop.
