Problem is, I never got the chance to have an experience. I contacted the shop prior to our trip and told them what I was looking to get and sent a couple ideas. I was told they would get back to me. After a couple days I messaged them back, the message was viewed but still no contact. I was going to get two tattoos on my trip, and they didn't bother to contact me back. Shame

I have gotten 4 tattoos done here and I absolutely love them. My mommy has stage 4 renal cell kidney cancer and Rhonda did a ribbon and my mother's hand writing that says I love you, mom. She did it on my right wrist and I was absolutely thrilled with it. I couldn't have been more satisfied with it. I cried and it really means a lot to me that I'll have this part of my mommy with me forever now. Rhonda is Super at what she does and really is great with her clients. Walked in with an appointment and was instantly welcomed by every one in the shop. They are very well priced for the quality of their work, you get way more than what you paid for! I got a cracked light bulb with a mountain veiw in it my artist was named Brett Newman. Brett was very friendly, easy to work with and did one hell of a good job. I have to say that it is now my favorite tattoo I have. I will be returning, the quality of the work and the professionalism of Brett and how well he works with customers is way above expectation! They cost a little more than some of the average shops sometimes but that's because they offer the HIGHEST QUALITY jewelry available. At other places I've had to take piercings out because my body rejected the lower quality jewelry, and I'm so thankful this isn't the case here!

Insanely overpriced. I felt like I was being mocked because I wanted a small cross on my wrist. The girl kept rolling her eyes as I was showing pictures and explaining what I wanted and said “I got it it’s just two lines.” Then proceeded to tatto the cross upside down instead of the direction I wanted (which was shown correctly in the pictures she clearly didn’t pay attention to). Considering this is something permanent, they should take more interest and care in their customers. I will never go back. So unprofessional and rude.

I was visiting Tennessee and went to stop by Southern Draw. Rhonda was easily one of the most friendly and down to earth owners I've met in my travels. I did not get any work done but I watched and experienced Logan doing a few piercings. Hearing him chat with his clients was refreshing and soothing. Each had a consistency of a professional but a personal touch of a friend. If you're visiting or in the area, I definitely suggest stopping by and experiencing what I did.

My best friend of 30 years wanted to get matching tattoos for her birthday. I had already done research on artists outside of my area and had decided that I liked Matt's work and decided to use him for a coverup planned for the near future. When my friend told me what she wanted, I thought " What's greater than going to eat good food then going to get some new ink?" I decided very quickly the answer was NOTHING is greater than that! So I was in! I called to make the appointments and made the $60 deposit to secure the spots. I emailed Matt what we wanted and he had everything ready to get to work when we arrived. Everyone in the shop was very friendly and the shop was very clean. Matt was easy to talk to and asked lots of questions along the way to make sure we left there happy with our new ink . My friend also got a piercing and Logan was very professional and descriptive in what she should expect and the aftercare. My friend and I both left extremely happy with the ink we got and the experience. I am glad I researched and found Matt. It was well worth the drive and the money and I will be back soon for that cover up! Thank you Southern Draw!!!

I wish I could've met Ms. Rhonda (highly recommended) to get my eyebrow tattoo. Due to the fact that she was off I was informed that Amber was the backup permanent makeup artist. So I decided to schedule a consultation for 8:00 pm with Amber and when I get there, she informed me that she has only been doing the eyebrow tattoos for a year...blank stare...so are you saying you aren't that experienced to do the job (if so why are you even the backup person) or you just didn't feel like assisting me....Either way, I would've felt better if I was just told that they were booked so I wouldn't have wasted my time going through traffic on Parkway just to hear that excuse. I'm sure the service with Ms. Rhonda would have been fabulous. This 1 star rating is strictly for Amber, thanks for service!

I can't say enough about the great experiences and service we have received here over the years. Logan is always attentive and very helpful. My daughter and I have both have had multiple piercings and all good experiences. He is a perfectionist which to us is very important. He takes his time and always makes sure it is exactly how we want it and done correctly on his end. Also warns us of any issues to be on the lookout for and proper cleaning. He has fixed several piercings that my impatient daughter wanted and could not wait to have done. We will NEVER allow anyone else to do our piercings. If Logan can't do it we don't need it is now our motto. However, haven't seen anything that he can't do. We have had interactions with other staff members and also Rhonda and they have always been professional and informative. We have recommended several people as well that have always had positive experiences. Give them a chance!! You won't be disappointed.

Like is someone ask for mts in the Smokys. Ugh. She assumed they were the Smokys a view she didnt see. Also they charge to high of price .

Logan pierced my septum a little over a year ago. I have quite a few piercings, but this was the easiest, most pleasant. Logan is 100% professional and he takes his job very seriously. I had my septum pierced previously, at another shop in the area (Seymour) and the "piercer" pushed the needle in to far and dropped it on the floor It had to be pierced 2 times in one day. The jewelry put in was horrible and it never healed. I waited about 3 years to have it re done and I'm very happy with it now. This shop is great, clean and friendly!! (My husband gets tattooed here) Rhonda knows what she's doing and her employees are all great!!

I went for daith piercings to try and help my migraines and daughter got a nose piercing. The place was busy so had a waiting period but the service was satisfactory. This review is going to be very detailed. If you don’t want to read the whole thing, just read this: Southern Draw is very clean, professional, and considerate. Matt (tattoo artist) is hilarious, professional and so helpful. So. My friend and I were going to get tattoos (my first, her second) at a Tattoo place in Gatlinburg. While we were waiting, a man walked up to us and actually warned us about the shop (which was surprising because it has great reviews). The place was closed anyways so we asked him what he recommended. He said “Rhonda Marsh at Southern Draw”. So we went there. Unfortunately, Rhonda was totally booked so we went with Matt. And we are so thankful for that. He took his time to answer all questions (I’m very inquisitive and curious) he also showed us his process of opening brand new bottles of ink and new needles so we KNEW that we would have a clean/safe tattoo. He was so caring and sensitive to our expectations. He aimed to please with his art and we never felt rushed. I can’t compliment him enough. We are from Florida and will be visiting Matt in the Fall for our next tattoos. Thank you, Matt!!!!

The artist that did my 2 tattoos today was Rhonda, she did an awesome job. The line work and coloring ended up being better than I expected. She was a joy to be around. We built a friendship in just a couple of hours and I will for sure come back to get another tattoo or even to just visit with her. All the artists in the shop are friendly and take care of your needs while your there.

I wanted to give this shop a try because I always pass by this place. I had pulled in and ended up with a flat tire no fault of anybody's but my own. I walked in and a young lady help me. She seemed nice not sure if she was an artist or not but i said i wanted a seahorses on my forearm She then asked if I had a particular style i said not really and without asking how big I actually wanted she priced it about 225.00 to 250.00. Needless to say I was blown away. The seahorses on my other arm was about 125.00 and looks amazing. So this place is a bit pricey.

In Gatlinburg for a vacation and decided to get a tattoo I have been thinking about for a few years. The staff was very friendly, the shop was clean and sterile. I was able to watch the artist remove the needles from sterile packages. Pricing was fair, and my artist, Bush, was great. I am very happy with my tattoo. I am on blood thinners, and they took great care to make sure I had approval from my doctor. Just a great experience!!!

I stopped in for a few piercings. The shop itself was super clean (100 on their previous inspection), with an entertaining, yet serene atmosphere. They have a beautiful selection of jewelry. Logan was amazing. He's informative & so patient. He was completely composed, professional, & gentle during prep & piercings. I don't usually leave reviews, but feel any type of body mods should be taken seriously, with a great deal of research. You won't be disappointed with Logan, at Southern Draw!

I went in a couple of weeks ago to get a tattoo the lady at the counter was really rude, rolling her eyes at me. Will was going to do my tattoo I brought in a piece I wanted for my tattoo and he said I’ll have the drawing in a couple of days. Then I emailed the details I wanted didn’t hear from him had to call him he said I didn’t get an email back so I put it on hold. Then he texted me saying I need another piece, my phone would not let me send it. So I called and had a lady tell me I don’t know what to tell you, so I wanted to try one more time because I put a 60 dollar deposit down already! So I called and a really nice lady said make an appointment to get the drawing done and tattoo. So I called back later and was told Will doesn’t want me to do an appointment until the drawing was finished. So I never got it done and this was for my two sister laws that passed away to honor them!! Worst place I’ve ever delt with!
