We were in Nashville for a makeshift honeymoon. We were downtown waling around and saw a tattoo sign while day drunk. We went into the shop to get silly matching tattoos, but left after not liking the artists sketch, pricing or availability. We went to the place next door and had a similar experience. We ended up calling this place, asking if they take walkins and headed down. We took a $5 uber from downtown to the somewhat sketchy location. If was pretty fitting and instantly felt right. Jay and some other bastard (didnt catch his name, but was wearing a bastard Tee) hooked us up. Jay sketched us exactly what we were wanting, they got us both on the table simultaneously and we were out of there with a very reasonably priced tattoo within an hour or so. The guys here are genuine and the real deal. Do yourself a favor and pay $5 to avoid the downtown shops and go see some true professionals. We could not be happier with how things worked out. Thanks y'all. (BTW - we heard the best music in town while getting tattooed).

I can’t comment on the artwork done here. Why not? Well, I drove almost 40 min to get here as they were the only open shop. I arrived at 1030PM and the shop was opened until 2AM. Well, or so I thought. Doors locked, no one to answer. What a wasted trip. They could have made some $$, but I have to go somewhere that is open when they say they are.

Josh did great on my first tattoo. He was friendly throughout the process and very accommodating to me and my friend, two loud college girls that just about completely upended his night. Horrible service, waited over 20 mins and had 1 guy who was working on a client say someone will be with you shortly, then waited 25 mins and wasn't waiting any longer. 3 people walked by that worked there didn't say anything, didn't even acknowledge we were there.

Super homestyle joint when it comes to tattoo work. Don’t mistake homestyle with unprofessional because the artists at Rebel Yell care 100% about people’s experience and what is left on their body. When I get the urge I go to Rebel Yell!

My boyfriend and I came by the shop tonight with a couple of ideas in mind for memotial tattoos. One for my mother that passed 6 months ago and one for his son thay passed 9 months ago. Justin was extremely professional and accomodating. In just a matter of minutes with only a verbal description of what we were looking for, he drew exactly what we wanted and within a couple of hours we were walking out of there with two of the best tattoos we have ever had. Pricing is more than reasonable and the quality of work is absolutely amazing. We have both decided that this will be the only tattoo shop we use from now on. Thanks for a beyond awesome experience. You guys rock!!!

Had an amazing experience here. Came in at 1:30 am and waited in line to get tatted. The staff is nice and stayed way beyond closing time to finish everyones tattoos. The quality of work was awesome. Aaron is super nice. I decided to add something small to my tattoo a week later and wasn’t charged. Will definitely make this my #1 tattoo shop while in Nashville.

Cool atmosphere, artists were nice enough. We were the only customers there and the owner was aloof and uninviting. $280 for about 2 hours of small work for my wife and I, felt too expensive for what we got done. Which were copy and paste tattoos no artistic creation Cash only, ATM on site with a $200 limit, charges a $5 fee every time you take money out. So if you need more that $200 (which you will...) you will get charged the ATM fee again

I was traveling thru Nashville on my birthday. Visiting with some friends on a special kind of road trip. I have had the idea for this tat for a couple years just wasn't sure about going below the shirt sleeve. I decided the time was now a friend gave the recommendation for Rebel Yelle and J he was awesome totally nailed the tattoo. I will be back for more. Called ahead to make sure they'd be open, the guy said yes. I arrive at the time he said to arrive, and he told me he wouldn't do a small tattoo for less than $400. He was rude both I'm the phone and in person. I don't think their quality is the worst (judging from the pictures) but there are certainly better tattoo shops in Nashville.

While the service was friendly and engaging, the work was sub-par. The artist's inability to shade simple flash led to a large amount of blowout, terrible healing experience, and what will probably turn into a rather unsightly tattoo in a very visible location.

The entire crew of artists here don't just give you a tattoo... They are much more than that. A majority are the best parents any kid can have. On top of that, they donate their skills, time, and heart to local charities whenever possible. Oh, and did I mention they're great at what they do? Three of us just got yet another tattoo there a couple nights ago!

And if someone asked you to change something that they don’t like when they are paying cash for your service!!!!! Despite how many hours you put in customers come before attitudes! Charlie did two mirrored swallows on my rib cage. Was exactly what I asked for and the colors were spot on with what I wanted. Really great service and Charlie was great to talk to for 4 hours! I felt the price was great for the quality of work. Going back to get another soon. Charlie is awesome! I would recommend calling before going!! They do close early if no one is coming in.

I made a spur-of-the-moment decision last night to get the tattoo I had been wanting for a year or so. It was about 11 p.m. or so when I decided on it, so I thought for sure the chances of actually being able to get it last night would be slim to none. The guys at Rebel yell were so chill and let me know they would squeeze me in. Josh was my tattoo artist and I gave him the idea of what I wanted with elements from various photos I found online. The piece he drew up for me was 1000x better than anything I could’ve dreamt up on my own. He laid out my options and gave me advice about what would look best and let me decide from there. After all was said and done, I ended up with a piece I absolutely love. I had never been to Rebel Yell previously, but I will definitely be back. Thank you Josh, and thank you Rebel Yell!
