Over all good experience. We felt our greeting wasn’t very friendly.... When the artist took us to the back though, he made us feel comfortable. He explained everything he was doing step by step, his work area was clean and neat. The bathroom needs serious cleaning, but we would go back for more work. Happy with our results.

I called ahead and showed up for my tattoo only to be rudely disregarded by the staff. As I was standing at the counter talking about the tattoo I was interested in, another customer walked in the door, literally stepped in front of me and I was suddenly completely ignored. A tattoo in Nashville was on my bucket list and needless to say this was ruined by the inconsiderate employees of Nashville Ink. I do NOT recomend this establishment from my personal experience.

Went in with my boyfriend as walk-ins an hour until close. Both of us were taken back and tatted quickly and cleanly. My only concern is not having my arm hair shaved off before I was tattooed but it was thin peach fuzz on my inner arm so I trust that the artist made the right decision and it will be ok. They stayed a half hour past closing time to finish our tattoos and were super fun and good natured despite being kept late by us. First tattoo was a success! We will definitely be back for more. Edit: 2 months later and my tattoo looks FANTASTIC!!!! It healed up perfectly and the lines are just as crisp and perfect as when I first got it. I know exactly where to go back to for my future tattoos!

I was a Sunday walk in right when they opened. I wanted a custom tattoo, kinda photo realism, of my late grandpa's hand made and hand painted fishing lures with his name and dates. I expected to wait a while, but Rob was able to get it drawn up pretty quickly. That actually made me a little nervous, but that was completely unfounded. Rob and I discussed my options, he listened to my concerns, and took into account what I wanted in addition to what he knew would look good. I know you're supposed to trust your artist to tell you what will and won't work, and I'm glad I did. My tattoo is so beautiful that it made me tear up a little, knowing my grandpa would love it. It's the perfect memorial tattoo. I wanted two lures, but we decided to just do one that day with his name and come back later so he could really have time to draw out the details of the second and put the dates with it to make them interconnected. I can't wait to go back. I can't say enough good things about these guys.

When she was talking to the employees another customer came in and rudely stepped in front of my friend and the employees didn’t say a thing. Needless to say it wasn’t nice between myself and the other customer. It was about to go down. Employees need to learn better customer service.

I have never had to bother to leave a negative review anywhere before. I had the worst experience getting my nostril pierced for the first time. The piercer complained about working there to a coworker while preparing to pierce me and offered me no after care information. I won’t waste my energy sharing the difficulty of getting sufficient basic information about getting pierced there from her through the phone, too. I had to go to my trusted original piercer today to change the piercing after it began imbedding. He said she should not have pierced me with jewelry with such a short post and small outer bead, not to mention the downward angle she pierced me at. Do not get pierced here.

So we scanned different piercing spots in the Nashville area and although you all had high reviews, we were quite disappointed. As soon as we walked in the woman at the front counter looked at us dismissively and treated us like we were a nuisance. She barely made eye contact, spoke to us like we were children (Maybe because of the fact we were laughing and looked like we were having a good time? We were definitely being respectful though) and was so rude in her communication that we all awkwardly huddled together and decided to leave. Art Immortal got our business instead (around $150 in piercings btw) and was AWESOME. We were treated respectfully and had a great time. #FreeMarketFTW

Called ahead to ask about piercings and they said they were available. We got there 5 minutes after we called, paid $20 for parking, went inside to only be told that they piercer couldn't do it because he was about to leave. It was just after 5pm and they didn't close until 8pm. We literally paid $20 for parking for nothing. Don't waste your time here.

Went here based off reviews. Very rude staff. Went here as a walk in and the staff acted like I was an inconvenience to them. The guy seemed annoyed by what I wanted. Which was only a small wrist tattoo. I have tattoos and have had great experiences but these people were so rude that I left and did not proceed with the tattoo. Reply: I used the shop minimum as an excuse to leave without argument or confrontation. I would have paid the $70 if I didn’t feel like an inconvenience. When I walked to the desk upon entrance he slammed down the phone and told the other girl it was his turn because he wasn’t going to be there until 12am. I went in about 10pm. Then acted like I was bothering him by my request and acted annoyed when I asked questions about it. I’m not paying money for someone to be rude to me and if I am getting something permanently on my body I would like it to be a good experience. I had 3 other people with me that witnessed the same and convinced me to leave. So yes my review is valid.

This shop is probably one of the best tattoo shops I have EVER been to. There was a specific tattoo I wanted and have wanted for over two years. I called around to probably 15+ tattoo parlors and everyone of them turned me away due to one reason or the other (one i chose to leave a mystery). Nashville ink, on the other hand, opened their doors Ike it was a family. The minute I walked in I was greeted with professionalism, understanding, and care. Jesse was AMAZING! Such attention to detail, and just an overall great guy. Not only does the tattoo mean so much to me, but the way you treated me made feel even better. Only place I will EVER go to! Kind, informative, caring, and just all around bad ass! Thank you for turning what could have been, and started off to be, an incredibly judgement thing into a great experience! Means more than you know! I’ll see you in about two weeks for another one!!!!

The place is super clean, the pricing is some of the most competitive I came across and the staff was all extremely friendly. I got a nose piercing here. It was quick and painless, also pretty cheap. My nose healed up fast so I stopped washing it daily after 3-4 weeks and developed a bump/keloid that has not gone away.. not sure if it’s because of an infection or the initial piercing

(Please read it thru; one word to summarize: NONCHALANT, at best). I walked in this shop for my first ear piercing and was expecting a lot. Here are my comments: 1) The staff became indifferent after seeing my international passport. Lately I was being "discriminated" in my job search b/c of my status as a foreigner, but is this even a famous company like Google? 2) People there mocked me for my English. I'm studying at one of the most prestigious institutions in the nation. Has anyone there achieved such literacy level or educational attainment? 3) I tended to ask questions for clarification and I thought that was a typical behavior in a WESTERN country. To the staffs: have your primary school teachers NOT taught you respect?

Visiting Nashville for the first time, and hit up the Johnny Cash museum on my way through to Duluth, Georgia. Decided to commemorate the event with a tatt. Found Nashville ink just a couple blocks away. Walked in, very professional, clean atmosphere, knowledgeable, inviting people. Enjoyable experience with Rob, I believe, as my artist. Fast, great detail and line work. Prices were refreshing. Will visit again when back in town. That city is crazy on a Friday night.

I go to Todd at this location. He's currently working on my 2 full sleeves! He does an absolutely incredible job! He's super patient when sketching and finding the right placement which is so important to me! His line work, and shading are phenonmial and I get so many compliments on them! Super clean and inviting environment. I don’t remember my artist’s names but he was rocking a dope mustache and a trucker hat. He worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. I got a minimalistic match on my finger. He ended up drawing the stencil free hand on my finger. Lots of raw talent in this studio. They also take walk-ins until 12pm for sure on Friday nights (and maybe the rest of the weekend?) which is great if you’re only there for a weekend and want to get a piercing or ink. I was in and out of there within 30 minutes. Fastest walk-in ever!

Stopped by Nashville Ink based on their stellar reviews. My mother, brother, and myself all got ink. Rob did an absolutely amazing job on my piece, taking his time until it was just right. My mom and brother saw Rose, the shop owner, who also did a stellar job. Both artists were kind and knowledgeable, making good conversation. I was amazed at how reasonably priced they were. All three of us are beyond happy with our new body art! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!

I'm sad to say I don't recall my artists name but he was amazing! I came in at 8:30 pm on a Friday night while visiting Nashville, with a drawing my daughter did. I asked if he could do it and he was very friendly and the price was great, he did exactly what I asked and more. He kept the drawing true to the original with a few minor tweaks. Definitely would recommend this shop on your way downtown.

Walked over from Broadway. My wife and I both got tattoos there. Everyone was very friendly and both of our tattoos turned out great. Rob made a awesome snare drum on my arm, and my wife got a hummingbird. It was my first tattoo also, and I love it!

Great place to get work done! The were kind enough to see me as a walk-in, provided I waited for a few people who had appointments ahead of me. They set very clear expectations in terms of wait times so that I knew what to expect and could plan accordingly. After a sketch of the small tattoo I wanted, Austin was awesome and listened to the adjustments I had in mind and quickly tweaked the image for me. He worked quickly but professionally and made sure I was 100% satisfied with his work before sending me off. Great place, appreciate y'all accommodating a short notice small tattoo, would definitely recommend!

My first tattoo there went well! The artists were nice and good listeners! My second tattoo there went smoothly and I love the outcome, but everyone seemed to be in a bad mood, I understand people have bad days. My main concern was that the artist used a numbing spray on me without my consent or bothering to ask me, and I have very sensitive skin and a skin disorder so I am now dealing with a rash and redness and itchy ness from the spray.

Jesse is awesome! He did an amazing job, did the tattoo quickly, and at a very reasonable price. This was the least painful tattoo I've ever gotten. Unfortunately, the tattoo is a bit different than we described, and it didn't heal well, using their tattoo balm. The good news is, when I have the time, Jesse said he would touch it up for free.

Got my conch pierced here with a friend and we had a pretty good experience! The girl was a little grumpy and not so friendly but we joked around with her and eventually she was being more friendly. The options for jewelry were limited but it was fine because I had some jewelry at home from a different piercing place that I was waiting to wear. Overall it was a decent experience. She didn’t make us feel as comfortable as we would have liked but it was okay! Our piercings healed well

I went in twice and the lines weren't very good the ink is very faint I got one small and four tiny pieces. When i asked if the artists were capable of fine lines they replied with we wouldn't have the ratings we have if we couldn't do it. Well I'm here to tell you guys their fine lines suck

I researched this place and the reviews are all great, I even looked at their website and their portfolios all looked good, but I’m not sure what happened on the day of my tattoo but apparently 3 triangles were very hard to do because this tattoo is awful. I don’t recommend Jesse for any simple line work. Be aware. Go someplace else.

Austin was awesome. Getting my tattoo on my ribcage was not painful at all. He was quick and did a great job. The only negative thing I have to say is that I wanted a dermal piercing and was not able to get one because they did not have their equipment sterilized and ready to use after the last use :(

I had an appointment to get a piercing there today at 1:30! Called to ask about the parking situation to see if they had their own parking. The girl that answered the phone was rude from the start saying 2 words, which I could barely understand. When I tried to her feedback on where to park, she then again in a rude way told me to look parking myself. That turned me off completely to even considering this place! What a joke!

Which was new to me but I am sure glad I took the chance.I Suggest going on a Monday through Friday for a walk in . My artist was amazing and did great job fair pricing also free touch ups. Also took the time to give me ideas about a cover up I want done. Which I looked at his cover ups and it was straight on point . Will definitely keep my business with him.

Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because they had a slight homeless problem having one come in and lingering for over an hour. Went in on vacation, read reviews was pretty excited to get done walked in clean the people were alright got my septum pierced. The man who did it pierced my nose to low. And through the very hard cartilage. Now I will have to remove and let heal before I can get it done again. I gave a ten dollar tip and spent 40 on so over all I spent 50 dollars to hurt my nose.

Two of my best friends and myself were in Nashville and we were wanting tattoos. After looking around at places we called them. They accepted walk-ins which was awesome. When we called, they were able to take us right away. Once we arrived we stated the size of our tattoos and soon filled out our paperwork. We all had the same artist and he did an amazing job! The guns were so quiet in the shop which was different from a regular tattoo shop. Everyone was friendly there. The shop was clean as well. I'd definitely recommend this place!

Not only did he listen to my idea and bring it to life on paper, he worked me in to his schedule last minute and now I have a beautiful piece of art in tribute to a recently passed friend. The hospitality and service was amazing. We were there for 3 1/2 hours and after the first few minutes we were conversing with everyone as if we had known them for years. Even the other customers that came and went was outgoing and talkative. This speakers highly of the atmosphere and environment of “Nashville Ink”. Not to mention the awesome “art” work!
