i absolutely love mainline ink! the shop is so very clean the artists there are awesome,funny, and really listen to your ideas and design a tattoo that fits your personality and design something just for you. i definitely recommend them and will never go anywhere else again except mainline! also they have this amazing after care stuff called saniderm! it really works so when you get a tattoo ask them about saniderm! i promise its the best thing you will purchase other than your tattoo of course

This shop is by far the best in Chattanooga! Creative artist imagery, local artist support by way of showcasing local artists monthly on their walls, an air of comfort, control and calm. A total of 3 artists stops the shop from being an overcrowded environment that can add undue stress to paying patrons yet still allows for walk-in consultations and easy appointment making. This shop has had continuous perfect health records and is the only shop I will trust my body's health and imagery to! The artists have the ability to assist with drawing an idea out of your head or taking an image direct from you and identically transferring it onto your skin. This shop has the most talent and style variety between the artists of any other in Chattanooga!

Poor communication lack of experience horrible scheduling . I waited three months to get in for a full day appointment.. Then he quit half way through the day .. The desighn was not drawn out like I asked specifically from the beginning.. Then he added things I did not want as well.. Make sure you are confident in communication if you plan to use them.. Don't just trust what they say. Very dissapointed would not recommend this shop to anyone. And I don't like complaining at all. Namaste

Katie, at the front desk is wonderful! Easy and fun to talk to and made everything a breeze( it was my 1st time there). Katie walked me through everything and was so friendly. Gracie, the lady who gave me my tattoo, well i cant say enough about her. Gracie you are wonderful! Gracie made me feel like i had known her forever and made sure I got excellent what i wanted. She was very light handed and my tattoo turned out exactly how I imagined it to be. Anier gave me my first tattoo. (I'm 46!)It wasn't at all what I expected. He did an AMAZING job. I followed his after care to a t. It never even scabbed! It wasn't even red or swollen the next day!! Not a great first impression! I walked in shortly after they opened, and expressed what I wanted etc. The lady at the front desk was very dry and stated they are completely booked for the next month or two and will only book appointments via their website. Thats all fine and dandy, however there were several people in there socializing, and the tattoo I want is very small. Bottom line I will not be back! Which is unfortunate for them seeing how I live literally next door, and want a few tattoos in the very near future.

I'm very disappointed in my experience with Main Line Ink. I contacted the shop about 5 months in advance to make an appointment for my friend and I to get large tattoos done by Danny. My friend and I were going to travel the country for a little over a month, and the plan was to get commemorative tattoos at the end of our trip before we got back home to Florida. A month before we left for our trip, the shop contacted us saying that Danny was now going to be out of town the date we had our appointment set. Because we wanted to get tattooed by him, we changed our schedule and stayed in Tennessee a few extra days. What we didn't know was that he was out of town for a tattoo convention. So, did he decide to blow off an appointment to go last minute, or was the appointment booked when he really wasn't available? We also had to contact the shop a few days before our appointment to find out what time to be there, because they hadn't told us. Two hours before our appointment, Danny emailed me and said that he was still at the airport and was sick, so he wouldn't be able to tattoo us. He said that he was hoping to feel better when he got back, and would contact me. So, my friend and I hung out in Chattanooga all day waiting to hear back from him, and never did. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe he actually was sick. However, I follow him on Instagram, and I shortly after found out that he was not sick at all. He was in Nashville having a grand ole' time, posting videos to his Instagram story. So, we got completely screwed over and weren't able to get the tattoos that meant so much to my friend and I. They are not reliable at all!

I contacted Lynn about covering a past girlfriends name. (A very stupid idea for a tattoo!! Vice versa for the ladies. Just don't do it!!) After a few e-mails, we were able to come up with an idea for a design that would cover up not only the name, but also an older tattoo that was very faded and honestly, a shabby tattoo. Lynn drew up the tattoo from our ideas. Not just replicating a picture. That's what you pay a professional artist to do!! Absolutely phenomenal job! Nailed it! I could not be more pleased!
