This place is great! The shop is super clean and it looks really cool. The guys seemed professional and they all know what they're talking about. I was in Nashville about a month ago and stopped in here to get some work done. I had an image in that I wanted and Chaz had asked if he could play with the owl. I told him to go nuts. The image also had a sugar skull incorporated with it. He asked if he could play with that or if I was married to it. I told him I was pretty married to it. He was cool with it. The whole process was very easy and I felt very comfortable. So much so that I fell asleep about half way through. The tattoo healed way better than any other piece that I have. Fast forward to today. I'm back in Nashville and stopped by to get the eyes on the owl touched up. Chaz happened to be there on his day off. He immediately remembered me and checked out the tattoo. Without me saying anything he touched the eyes up.

Walked in today with 3 people interested in getting tattoos. We stood in the lobby for probably 15 minutes before someone acknowledged us. There were no other guests getting worked on and there were at least 4 staff inside. When someone finally reached out, they were helpful, but referred us to their front desk staff who had “just stepped out” and they didn’t know where he went. The front desk person was even less concerned with us, and didn’t offer any information or invitation for help. Everyone seemed hungover or maybe stoned, which is fine, but at least give us some acknowledgement. I was quoted $280 for some very simple work (definitely too expensive for the piece). I would have paid that much for it, but how do I trust someone with a tattoo who doesn’t seem to care about my business? I declined the offer and left. I hope this was just an off day because it was very unprofessional.

Where to even start, I must say it was my best tattooing experience.. from Sean Drennan treating me like one of his own family members, to all the other amazing artists giving their Input ,and all being extremely kind and good people. I can honestly say when I move to Texas, I will come back to this shop all the way from Waco, Texas.. not just because the amazing artists, but because the amazing shop owner.. one of the greatest guys around, a true stand up guy, who is hilarious! I will always cherish the experience I had and will have at Gold Club Electric.. I will always highly recommend this shop to anyone for any piece! I can't wait to have another great experience with all of these amazing people.. I am so glad someone told me about this shop before I moved.. I know for a fact I won't be getting any work done anywhere else! Every artist's portfolio is so diverse and absolutely AMAZING! Sarah Jordan did microblading on my eyebrows and then gave my lashes a lift with extensions. I wanted her to keep my brows looking natural in fear of people knowing I had work done. My brows were a little thinner than I preferred and I had been looking for sometime for the right person. Sarah's work is so precise and tediously done that I have never had someone ask if I had micoblading done. Instead, I just get compliments and people asking what oil I use to have my brows grow in more thick. I then had her give me lash extensions for my sister's wedding. They were SO lovely and out lasted any other lash extension service I have used prior to her. If you prefer a natural, chic look... go see Sarah Jordan!

I did not personally get a tattoo at this place. My daughter in college had too much to drink one night and got a tattoo. Yes, it is her responsibility and her decision. We are fully aware of that. However, she wanted it on her foot and they convinced her while drunk to get it very prominently on her arm. I think this place needs to think twice before giving tattoos to young adults that are drunk as tattoos do not take well with alcohol in the body anyway. I am now paying to have it removed at her election.

I was visiting East Nashville for the day, my boyfriend and I decided to get tattoos. We went into this place and NOBODY spoke to us for 15 minutes. There were artists in the back just speaking to each other, except for one nice blonde man. He was the only good part about my experience there. I didn’t get his name. So we looked at artwork and asked about prices. They told us it was a $80 minimum...which was fine until reading responses from the owner on google saying the minimum is $60. Anyways, the workers there all looked stoned and like they didn’t care whether they got our business or not. That’s not a way to run a business. It left a bad taste in my mouth after we finally just gave up and left. Luckily, the night got better because that part of town is awesome. But yeah, I really wouldn’t recommend this place. Go to Black 13 instead, much friendlier environment.

My husband and daughters and I went in to get a very simple but sentimental tattoo. We had Mike and Murray who were wonderful. It was a first tatoo for three of us and they were very kind answering all our questions and letting us enjoy it as a family. It was a a great experience. I would highly recommend them.

I’ve been to many tattoo shops in Nashville, and they have all been great. But Gold Club takes the cake. Every artist is incredible, and everyone is extremely nice and patient. I’ve seen some reviews claiming they are overpriced, but believe me YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Their prices are extremely fair (no higher than any shop with comparable skill), and the quality is out of this world. I also want to specifically shout out Sean Williams, as he is the artist I have worked with. He has incredible artistic range and an uncanny ability to reach into your mind and reproduce exactly what you may not even realize you’ve always wanted on your body. Go to Gold Club. You won’t regret it.

The shop manager at the counter walked right up to us as soon as we got in the door and we were done within an hour of getting here. The artists were super friendly and did awesome work! Writing this review to help management.... I went in to get a simple tattoo done and was quoted at $100-150 but closer to $100 was what the guy at the desk told me. After I waited 2 or 3 hours I was told that the design would have to be bigger or else it would look bad (not sure if they didn't have the right sized needles or what) and although I wasn't totally cool with that, I was just ready to get it done and over with. So after they said they couldn't do it the size they told me at first, they ended up bumping the price up to $200. This was after the guy at the desk told me $125-$150 this time but then went back to the artist and came back with the $200 price. I understand that their time and art is worth money, but, I think it would be a lot more beneficial to have the artists and guy at the counter on the same page when it comes to pricing so I could've left and not waited 2-3 hours only to be told it was going to be another $50-100. All in all, it was a really nice place and my buddy also got a tattoo and it turned out really clean and the guy at the desk was super nice and helpful it just seemed like the artists themselves were pretty smug (including the artist that did my friends work) and didn't really care if they got my business or not. I understand the tattoo shop itself is "nationally recognized" but I feel as if a little help in customer service would be a huge help in general to really set the shop apart from others.

This review is extremely delayed but better late than never. I walked into Gold Club to get a tattoo last spring while in town for work. I wanted to get a little tattoo and despite a few of the tattooers being out of town for the Boston Convention, and the remaining tattooers being pretty busy, PJ made time for me. I've been in a lot of tattoo shops in a lot of different parts of the country and Gold Club stands out in every single way. Everyone was polite, fun to hang out with, and made me feel at home after a rough work day. The tattoos that come out of this shop are easily the best around. I will most definitely be back and if you are looking for a tattoo in Nashville you would be dumb not to go to Gold Club Tattoo.

I visited Sarah here and my experience was life changing! I can’t reccomend this place enough. It’s clean and the entire staff is extremely professional. I came here to look into microblading. As someone with naturally thin eyebrows and hates it, I was very skeptical as to whether or not microblading was a path I should take. Sarah was very communicative and honest with me. She openly and honestly weighed to pros and cons of the procedure. Though I was hesitant at first I am so glad I got it done! They look so natural but so much fuller and more suitable for my face. I am beyond excited to get to take a step out of my make up routine every morning now that I wake up with perfect brows!

A year ago I got a tattoo from this place. I was excited to graduate high school and decided to get a simple line on my hand to celebrate. I was a walk in at this shop. They charged me $100 for a simple line on my hand and made me wait while my artist had a cigarette break. He free handed the line. There are two different places where the ink blew out. I really should have done better research before getting my tattoo. If I had, would not have gone here.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. These guys are amazing. My tattoo artist was Sean Drennen and he did the best job on my piece. He was so easy to work with/talk to during the whole session. The price was perfect for the work he did and it went by fast and easy. I would tell everyone to go to Gold Club Electric for any kind of tattoo and plan on getting the rest of my tattoos done only here even when I'm not in Nashville. The shop is amazing, all the other artists are amazing. You can tell that everyone inside the shop is passionate/knowledgeable about anything tattoo.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!! I went to Nashville on a weekend getaway to visit my friend who wanted to get tattoos with me over the weekend. I went in wanting to get a simple band no wider than .5 inch with some traditional floral design around my wrist but was told that this was going to be too difficult a tattoo and the receptionist quoted me at $500!?!?!?!? I instantly knew that wasn’t going to happen and then chose to get something much easier, a simple lightning bolt on my wrist about 1 inch in length and was quoted at $80, which I still thought was steep for one of the easiest tattoos imaginable. After waiting 2-3 hours I finally sat down for my tattoo inches away from someone else’s feet who was getting a leg tat literally right next to me. The close proximity and lack of privacy between artist astounded me and made the place seem somewhat unsanitary and unprofessional. When the artist placed my tattoo I had to ask him to replace the stencil a few times until I thought it was in a good spot. My friend teased me for having him redo the tattoo a few times and the artist said “better to make it perfect, but it’s not my body” leaving me to feel like the artist didn’t really care about my body or my tattoo. It took about 10 minutes or less before it was all said and done. Ended up with a little curve in the tip of the lightning bolt and was wrapped up before I could even look at the tattoo in the mirror or ask the artist to fix the curve. I then go over to pay for my tattoo and was surprised when the receptionist told me that it was now going to be $100 because I had the artist fill in this tiny tattoo of mine. I asked if I could still do $80 due to the fact that that the tattoo was so small, simple, and only took 10 minutes to do. My offer was turned down by the receptionist and I gave up trying to barter with him. I left the shop with the smallest tattoo I’ve ever gotten, imperfections, feeling unhappy, and out of $100. All in all, this shop is the most deceitful and money oriented tattoo shop I’ve ever been to and I will never return or recommend.

I just recieved my first tattoo here by Sean Williams and it was great. He was very friendly and helped me through the whole process of what to expect in recieving my first tattoo. He made me feel right at home and I really loved the tattoo he did for me. I am really excited for when I sit down for my next tattoo in april by PJ. I plan to make this my go to place to get my tattoos.

Late review, but we were there in June for our 10th anniversary and wanted to get our first tattoo. We went it knowing what we wanted with the tattoo artists stating that they couldn't do it. One was a simple cross with a clover and the other was a design on the foot with a clover. We each had different tattoo (I wouldn't actually call them artists) workers. Mine did an ok job on the lines but did a horrible job on my clover. It's flat looking and when I asked why he left (approximately) a 1/4 inch line uncolored, he said that you should have skin showing. When I told him I wanted it colored in, he picked up his tool and said , "fine, if you want it yellow" and grabbed my foot and began to color it. I told him that's not what I wanted but it was too late. After looking at it for over six months, it still makes me mad that he was such a jerk about it, and am going to have it fixed this week. They are way overpriced there because they are close to the main strip and must feel it's ok to rip people off. DO NOT go here!!!

I couldn't of asked for a better tattoo experience than the one I received at Gold Club. I was greeted immediately upon walking into the shop, no waiting around and getting the feeling that "why am I here". I informed the shop manager that I had an appointment that afternoon and was a few minutes early, which was no big deal. The artist I had the appointment with was just finishing up a tattoo. As soon as he was finished came right over and showed me what he had drawn up for the tattoo, which surpassed the idea that I had made up haha. I was beyond thrilled with the finished tattoo and couldn't thank them enough. This was the second time I've been tattooed at Gold Club, i do not live in Nashville but travel a lot up there for business and will always make sure to put some time aside to go there and get tattooed. Thanks again guys!
