I'd been pondering my first tattoo for awhile, and I really wanted something to commemorate our trip here to Gatlinburg. My son and daughter-in-law each got one to go along with the ones they had, and I decided to take the plunge and get my first here. Great bunch of guys there that definitely know their stuff. Josh did mine and was very helpful with the design and recommendations for placement. I was amazed how quickly he got it done and how great it looks. I definitely recommend these guys.

Messaged them about a tattoo. Walked 20 mins to their shop because they were so excited for me to come in. Got there at 10:40 (they close at 12). I had a tattoo picked out, and he tried to tell me it wouldn't fit in a spot I knew it would (trying to finish my half sleeve). Then when he said it would do it and it would for, he said $200 (fair price) but that he didn't want to have to work past 12.

Overall it was a good experience. Eddie took the time to hear my ideas and work up my stencil and sizing with me as well as special requests. Super friendly and you can tell he takes pride in the shop. After we got it all set and agreed upon payment was taken and we got into it. Eddie has very good customer service and even let me add in some special touches on the fly during tattooing which was awesome. He made sure to show me the tattoo at the end and go over care instructions and made sure I knew My touch up is free of charge next time I’m in town. Eddie made sure I saw the needles brand new in the package and how sterile everything was as we began which was really reassuring and nice to see him take a lot of pride in. It definitely gives you a piece of mind as a customer. I wish him well at his location and am happy to have had he chance to go there.

Very expensive and poor customer service. I had a certain tattoo in mind for the memory of my mother. A small forearm tattoo was a $140. Then I asked for certain font and they told me they couldn’t do that so I told them I wasn’t paying a $140 for something I didn’t want. The guy got very rude with me and said he didn’t want to tattoo me! Wow.... if I pay for something and it’s on my body for the rest of my life I want exactly what I want!

My husband and I decided we wanted to add something meaningful to our art on our honeymoon. We stopped in and priced a few ideas. Eddie was helpful and friendly. Gave us advice to think about what we both wanted since they would correlate and recommended coming back towards the end of our trip (since we’d be swimming And out in the sun). So we did just that! Eddie was fantastic, even though we didn’t get anything big, he did really good work and made us feel like we were “at home” with our artist. We were a little bummed he’s not our hometown artist. We both would definitely recommend him!

Sad to go back and change my review because I has an enjoyable time at the shop, but I got a crescent moon tattoo on Saturday on my finger. The scab has started to flake away and underneath the scab there is almost no pigment left. I have multiple tattoos and I am keen on aftercare so I am pretty sure this is not due to botched aftercare. I even went out of my way to be extra careful because the tattoo is on my finger. I've asked around and it seems like it just wasn't done deep enough.

Today was my 5th experience going to Gatlinburg Tattoo and it makes me wish I lived closer (I live in Michigan), so I could go get tattoos more often! The entire staff is always so cool and I love that they're all realists! Eddie has done 2 of mine now and I rock the hell out of my tattoos! My cover up today was by far, my favorite! They're clean and do things like they should. My favorite part is how personable they are. I hold off on getting ink until I'm in Gatlinburg and it really gives me another good excuse to go spend time in such a beautiful area.

I went in to price a cover up and Paul offered to do it on the spot. I scheduled appointment for 2 days later. Went in and was started on right on time. Paul did a great job except for knocking ink tray over. LOL he took his time and was very patient. Even remained calm and kept his composure after one of his partners went on a lunch break. They got extremely busy but he still took his time. The cover up was kind of a difficult one because of shape and stuff but turned out great. It is healing very well but still needs a little bit of color in the cover up area. which he said wouldn’t be a problem next time I’m in the area. Hope they keep their word on that. So I requested a realistic artist and told him to take some artistic liberties with my tattoo idea. While being sketched up I was told it would be $260 and payment would be needed. I hadn’t even seen the sketch but whatever. So we get the sketch applied and no liberties were taken. Joey did the tat in one sitting without adjusting my arm. So now when I stand up one of the lines on the reflection of the tree is crooked as my muscle rests differently straight down. So a crooked tat. Now on the top of the mountains the lines are spreading ink under the skin. So I have to find an artist to fix a tat that I just paid $260 to get. Which may I add is top dollar but I was willing to pay whatever for quality work. I liked Joey and our conversation was good but he didn’t even show me the tattoo when it was finished. Just sheet skin on top and told I was done. I didnt receive any realistic work or artistic liberties honestly. And it’s really frustrating that now I have to pay to fix what should have been done correctly. I’m not happy. The normal guys in the shop seemed very invested and concerned about the customers though so I don’t think it’s regular practice in that shop. So I guess I’m just the unlucky guy. Some of the work looked amazing when researching and I picked this place to drop $600 in tats that should have been much less but wanted to remember the experiences of my wedding and get together with my family that I was there for. Instead I got a crooked tree, bleeding ink and a new bill to fix it.

Dalton was really nice and joked around with us while we waited to get our tattoos. The owner, Lonnie, took time to talk and joke around with us as well. Prices were reasonable and didn’t seem gouged to take advantage of us because we weren’t from here. It felt more like we were regulars instead of tourists. Ben did an amazing job on my tattoo. His line work was really good and he was very adamant about me being happy with how it looks and did whatever I felt like needed to be done so I would like it. Everything was clean and the shop looked nice. Definitely recommend this place to everyone, especially out of towners. 10/10 and huge thanks to Ben!

Me And my girlfriend were in town on a spur of the moment trip to Gatlinburg and we want to get tattoos together and this was the only place on the strip. The manager was very friendly was very entertaining kept it lively and Paul did our tattoos will definitely need touch up as some of the line work on the outline isn’t there and a few spots where color was missed Paul seemed slightly rushed for he had a full schedule he took a couple breaks that seemed lengthy, the other artist next to him was loud and Obnoxious and seemed to be annoying Paul as he was trying to work but also rush. Paul was really nice and no complaints on attitude just seemed flustered , but we all been there. All in all not a bad experience it was welcoming just wish it didn’t take so long and that maybe Paul slowed down a bit. Will visit again though

While on my Honeymoon alittle over 2 weeks ago, my Husband and I went one evening on a Sunday an hour before they closed on a spontaneous visit in hopes I could get a small piece honoring my Dad who passed 3yrs. Ago....Navada offered to do it and despite correcting it quite a few times (because I was picky) before starting it, remained really calm and understanding....No one made me feel rushed....He did a really great job and didnt rush to get outta there, even though we kept them well over an hour past closing....We'll return in the future for another piece the next time we are in Tennessee

Stopped in on my last night in town for a piece of Gatlinburg to take home. Paul was very patient in making a custom design for me, he had awesome ideas and put together exactly what I was looking for. Experience from beginning to end was spot on, even though I napped a bit through the 5 hour session.
