Clean shop. Staff was perfect. Knew the war pericing I wanted for my headaches. Other shops had said it didn't work. B.S. The girl that Did mine asked me a few questions. And knew exactly where to do it. You want it first off on the side you get migraines on. In happy to say I've had mine 2 weeks and migraines are 100% GONE !!

I love cardinal tattoo, not like any other tattoo shops. Went there and had an idea about what kind a tattoo I want and they make it 10 Times better. the place are super clean and the staff, omg, super friendly. Will is the mastermind. Super cool guy and I got my tattoos done by him. And shoutout to Karen, she’s awesome as well. Will definitely go back and get my next tattoo.

My daughter n myself got our noses pierced for her 14th birthday in July and are truly happy with our entire service and overall experience! Our piercer was great and we will be visiting her again! Sending my son to y'all in a few minutes because he went to Hendersonville last night for a nose piercing and it took longer than 5 minutes, they placed a short l shaped ring in his nose instead of the long one, didn't tell him his nose was thick until already struggling with getting the short ring in and when he called her to complain about it today, she told him she would just replace it with a hoop if he comes in today cause it's easier to heal and clean. If she thought that at first, why not do it yesterday?! I told him to come to y'all today, get the problem fixed and trust y'all from now on. Thanks for being great at what y'all do!

It took me three months to get appointment then on that date I was double booked so the rescheduled and told me I'd get half the cost. Which they lied. It cost me two days work. The owner Will, is a lying punk along with his girlfriend drue.

I took my son here for his first tattoo. Not only was the owner very professional he did an awesome job. My son got a Mandala and it had A LOT of lines and detail. We were very pleased with the work and my son hardly had any swelling or bleeding. It still looks awesome.

Got a cute tattoo with my boyfriend on Valentine’s Day, but the artist who did both of our pieces messed up heavily. The line work on my boyfriend’s tattoo is incredibly uneven and messy and my tattoo was barely filled in the first time I got it done. Not to mention the healing process...because of the way my tattoo was done, I am now stuck with this UGLY blue halo around my tattoo and I’m really disappointed. I have nothing against this artist that’s why I won’t say the name. She was overwhelmingly kind but I think she needs to work on her skill. Overall OK place to go but I mostly recommend going there for piercings.

Understand that this review is based on me getting my first tattoo for the Friday the 13th special. I got a 4 leaf clover tattoo and I love it. It's only my first tattoo and I am hooked. Victoria did a great job and my tattoo healed wonderfully. Can't wait to plan my next tattoo!

I don’t care who says what about this place, out of all the places I’ve been to get pierced and tattooed, this place absolutely smashes the game. They pretty much know me by now because I’ve come in so much. They’re all extremely professional and well mannered, their work is fantastic. Will is very reasonable with his pricing and scheduling, not to mention his work is phenomenal. Karen does beautiful watercolor works. Everyone does amazing pieces, and they’re all so friendly. I feel just like family when I come in. They also make it a fun atmosphere with all the banter and joking. I will never go anywhere else again, and I drive an hour just to come here. It’s the best in my opinion.

I got piercings and I love them. The room was clean. The utensils used were clean. Had A neat vibe to it. The only thing about the piercings is to me when I look at them they seem slightly crooked. I'm a perfectionist and to me it isn't bad...but not perfect lol. But what is perfect?! I would definitely go back.

I’ve gotten two tattoos from here & loved it. My tattoo artist was very professional & everything was super clean & my experiences were 5 star. But that was over a year ago. I’m not the type of person to be like this but after my experience tonight I made a Facebook because people should know how immature and unprofessional the tattoo artist Will Wood was to my boyfriend and my boyfriend’s mom. In Mr. Will’s defense I had met him a few weeks ago when I went with my best friend to make her tattoo appointment & he was very helpful & we had talked & he said he’d been working at Cardinal since it opened so I understand the loyalty & father figure presence of protecting where you work, but it is unacceptable to cuss out clients & then to scream across the entire tattoo shop to just leave & then to run out after we had left to scream in front of people enjoying their night on the square to come back & fight him. People cuss me out on a weekly basis at my job but do I cuss them back? No. Because it’s not professional & what good does reacting negatively to someone else’s negativity do for anyone? My boyfriend & my boyfriend’s mom aren’t in the clear either because they retaliated to Mr. Will negatively so trust me this isn’t a choosing sides thing because they’re my family, everyone is in the wrong here. But you shouldn’t treat people like that. I’m not trying to talk down on anyone or ruin anyone’s career because I’m sure no one will even see this but for the people that do, know what you’re getting into. I’m sure Mr. Will does great work & this isn’t to degrade Cardinal Tattoo or the other artists, but the integrity of a man.

My experience was AWFUL! It was a last minute decision to go & our friends came with us & they had to bring their 2 kids, but thank God they came. The guy that WAS going to do my tattoo (Tricky Ricky Smith) was very rude. He smelled like straight alcohol. He was laughing at our friends 2 year old little girl bc he couldn't understand her talking. After the 2 year old kept saying leave me alomg numerous times he kept on & was trying to teach her the words MEAT BUCKET & STANK BOX bc thats what he was calling some woman. What kind of business is this?? Its a freakin joke. Needless to say we left with a few words said.

I've got an old Ronnie James Dio tattoo that I want him to redo. If you want an awesome tattoo and great environment then you need to go and see Duece!!!
