Rachel is talented artistically and a truly authentic individual. I came to her wanting to continue the American Traditional style quarter sleeve, with some personal deviations that brake form tradition, that I started several years ago. I hadn't been able to finish it and needed a quality artist to help pull it all together. American Traditional is not a style Rachel normally does but she killed it. "Trust the process"... she is methodical and will 100% give you her most honest opinions and thoughts. I also took notice of how clean and up to code her set up is. She takes her business and art very seriously, and that includes the cleanliness of her studio. I have appointments scheduled with her later 2019, going into 2020 and would highly recommend Rachel to those who are serious about their tattoo work. She and her family are invested members in the Narragansett Community and South County at large. Therefore you're supporting a local, small business owner who is on point with her trade skill and creating one of a kind tattoo artwork. You won't be disappointed.

about 4 years ago i gave rachel one of my oysters and asked her if she could draw it on my arm - it was perfect - so much so she is now our official graphic artist for the farm. rachel is wicked incredible to work with - if your looking to get a tattoo need a graphic artist or need an artist period i highly recommend her!

Rachel is not a tattoo artist. She is an artist that uses tattoos to express her art. Our bodies her canvas her ink is Rachel's imagination. It took 3 years for my tattoo to be completed partly due to my work schedule and partly because we collaborated over time for both our ideas to conceptualize. A very thoughtful process. Go to Rachel to take the time to put life long art on your body. During our sessions we talked about everything. Jobs, careers, partners and life. Rachel is worldly and so well rounded she could speak to any topic. Or you don't have to talk at all listening to everything from Lindsey Sterling to top forty on the radio. I had a 5 star experience with the most beautiful art on my arm of a picture and experience that will remain in my thoughts and on my body for the rest of my life.

Where to start...Rachel has done two pieces on me and one more to go to finish a half sleeve. The angel wing she did for myself and my brother had a lot of personal meaning behind it. About three years ago I had Rachel go to town on a realistic upper arm sleeve. At my consult I showed her about 10 different pictures of what I wanted, and she pulled together this beautiful and extremely realistic art piece(Wolf half sleeve). The amount of compliments I've had on my wolfie is crazy! I know I love it but I didn't realize that EVERYONE loved it just as much! I had an older lady say she though tattoos were discussing and only for people in prison but this arm piece completely changed her mind and said it was pure ART. I got my first tattoo at age 18 and have received several since - always by walking into a shop and working with whoever was available. But when it was time to create a larger, very significant piece I knew I wanted to have a more intentional experience. I had been following Rachel on social media during her battles to open her studio in it's current location and knew that when I was ready, Rachel was the artist I wanted to create my lotus flower half sleeve. I admired her art, of course, but also greatly admired her bravery, strong spirit and her kind heart. Working with Rachel was entirely different than my previous tattoo experiences -- and SO much more wonderful!!! I love the art she created on my arm and I greatly enjoy the frequent compliments I receive on it. But I am equally grateful for the process of creating it and the time I got to spend talking, laughing, crying and healing my heart while sitting in Rachel's studio. We completed my project two years ago, but I knew it would definitely not be my last tattoo with Rachel. I'm heading in for another consult soon - for work that will not begin until 2020 (because that's how far out she is booking!!!) and I am SO looking forward to being back in Rachel's beautiful studio once again!

Rachel is excellent!! I drove 1 hour and 40 minutes to get my first tattoo done. It was worth the drive! She first designs it, then you get to see the exact placement before she starts. If it doesn’t look right, she fixes it all before she even starts the ink. Not your old run of the mill tatoo place. Rachel is a true artist! I highly recommend her. It’s worth the wait and the drive!
