This shop is amazing! Both Adam and Jordan do excellent work. The entire staff in friendly, kind and comforting. They all love what they do, have a ton of fun and it shows in their work. Cleanliness is definitely a top priority for these guys as well. After tagging along to a few sessions, I recently got my own first tattoo here. Adam was my artist and he made sure I was doing well and comfortable the whole session, gave me a heads up when things might be a little tender, cracked jokes and made sure I knew how to tend to my new work of art. If you get the chance, get in to see these guys!

This tattoo shop is amazing! It’s very clean and has a comfortable and chill atmosphere. I went here for my first tattoo with Adam because of a referral from a friend. We were able to meet quickly and go over everything about what I wanted and he accommodated everything and gave his professional advice on making it look good. Honestly I was a little discouraged having to wait almost 3 months to get the tattoo but in the end it was so worth it!! Everyone here is super nice, professional, and welcoming and take the best care of you possible! My tattoo turned out a million times better than I could’ve ever imagined!

Adam has done approximately 20 hours of tattooing on me and I can’t imagine going to anybody else. I had 3 tattoos before meeting him and he covered up 2 of them with amazing skill. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this unbelievably talented, humble and professional artist. I get stopped by strangers constantly wanting to know who did my “exceptional” tattoos. Jordan has been there for every tattoo that I have received from Adam and watching her has been so inspiring! Her art is exquisite! They are both top of the line artists. They make you feel like it is their privilege to have you in their chair. They will make your experience so comfortable and there is zero rockstar attitude here! You just can’t go wrong with these two!!!!!!!!

I can't say enough good things about Adam Zimmer as a tattoo artist. He's done everything from original pieces, to reworking of pieces done by others, to full cover-ups of old tattoos for me; we're probably over 20 individual tattoos together, and I love every piece. His work on my back, a growing collection of music and literary references, has garnered commentary from strangers on more occasions than I can count. Small children often shout at their parents, "it's Clifford" when they see my Clifford the big red dog piece, and every Harry Potter fan I have ever met is in love with my Hedwig and Snape original watercolor piece. I have recommended Adam to a number of friends, and have even taken my high school students to him after they have graduated. Adam is also an amazing person. I've been lucky enough to call him my friend for about half of my life, so I can vouch strongly for his character and integrity. I'm certain that he and Jordan have started a successful venture with Paper Moon Tattoo Company, and I look forward to continuing adding to my tattoo collection under their care.

My roommate and I decided to come spontaneously, and papermoon not only welcomed us but encouraged us throughout the entire process with support and joy. Adam was incredibly accommodating with design, location, pen details, etc. pricing is pretty fair as well, considering the wonderful job they do. As a side note and, well, an addition to the story, my friend was incredibly nervous and Adam put Lizzo on, as he had overheard us prior talking about how her music just keeps us going. The moment it played her entire mood shifted and the rest of our experience was completely void of any worry or hesitance. I’d 100% recommend this place for any perspective clients :)!! I happened upon #papermoontattoo because of an acquaintance from college giving me her appointment, otherwise these guys are a hot commodity & booked out for 3 months. I am sooooooo glad I did! Adam is kickass! I had two animals I had wanted tat'd on me for YEARS & he had those drawn up for me on arrival, I also had my kiddos siggy's added to it & they are my rainbow babies so I asked him to incorporate that somehow & I wanted a balloon from elephant's trunk & got that too. First off: the staff here are all amazing and the friendliest people you can interact with! The atmosphere is pleasant and professional. Adam and Jordan are truly skilled at what they do. I have two tattoos done by Jordan and they both far exceeded my expectations. When you have a tattoo that you want, you plan it on paper. Then you have what you imagine in your head - which is usually even better then what you have shown! Jordan's still goes above and beyond what you have even imagined; her final work is remarkable. A friend told me about Adam while I was on the hunt for a tattoo artist I really liked. I almost went to a bigger city to get it done until I saw Adam's work. I knew right away that I wanted him to do my first tattoo. They just opened up and I'm so glad I waited. I love my new tattoo! I got to meet Jordan as well while I was there, they are both very kind and extremely talented. If I decide to get a second tattoo, this is the place I'm going to go to.

I got a very simple, minimalistic cat tattoo from Jordan and I couldn’t be happier. It was my first tattoo, and Jordan’s biggest focus was making me feel comfortable the whole way. It was only a $80 tattoo, but she was willing to do not one but TWO consultations with me to make sure that I was 100% on board with what was happening. I don’t know any other artist who would put so much effort into such a tiny little tattoo. She was constantly making sure I was ready and comfortable, I didn’t feel pressured to do it a different way because she said so or because I was too nervous to ask. She made the edits to my picture at my request, and despite the fact that it’s super minimalistic, it looks EXACTLY like my cat. I don’t know how she did it, but she did. She was super accommodating and made me feel unafraid to express my fears and concerns at any point, and I never felt pressured to do anything I was unsure about. I think I had the best first tattoo experience of anyone else I know, and if I get any more tattoos in the next year I’ll definetly be going back to Jordan. She was so kind and assuring and never made me feel silly for being a little bit afraid, but I couldn’t love my new ink more. Jordan is a perfect example of a tattoo artist who really cares. She doesn’t just want to get you done, get you out, and get her money. She want the whole process to be a special and personal experience, and I can’t thank her enough for the work she did for me. She really cares about putting the best effort into everything she does, and the whole process was so special. Best shop in state college by far.
