My son and I decided we were going to inquire about tattoos today to get an estimate. Pat greeted us and in less than an hour I had a fantastic Amazing tattoo that he created and added his own flair to make my tattoo "Unique" My son's tattoo is a sketch his girlfriend created and Pat duplicated the original. Absolutely, Amazing work! Highly recommend this place. Pat is very sweet. The price is reasonable.

This place is great!!!! Brian Patton is a great guy and really can tattoo!!! Drew Rash is also gonna be there once a week and he is just a great tattooer!!! Doug Hand will put a killer tattoo on you or a hole through you!! (Yes the do body piercing!!!!!) One of the nicest shops Ive ever been in. Lots of awesome flash on the walls!!! If you are in the area you should check this place out and I promise you wont be disappointed...

I went in for my second tattoo at Haverford Electric today. I fully admit to not being terribly experienced in this and I told them when I walked in that I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted beyond the text and general location on my body. The artist I talked to did discuss my options with me, but I needed to pick out a font. Note that I had called in a few days ago to make an appointment and was told that walk-ins were preferred. They use a computer to help with fonts that they don't draw by hand. Unfortunately it stopped working and we couldn't change the text back to the font I liked. This wasn't their fault and I couldn't figure it out either. Here's where things get upsetting. He did not seem to even remotely care that I wasn't going to be able to get my tattoo today. I asked what they would normally do in the case of this happening and the artist said he would draw it. I asked if he remembered what the font I liked looked like. He just flat out said no and didn't offer to help me further. I mentioned that it was disappointing because I was looking forward to getting it done today. He replied "well sometimes things just aren't in the cards." Maybe he was annoyed at me or just didn't like me, but dismissing me without even a slight apology like that was extremely unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable. I won't be returning.

Josh killed it! I had a very old tattoo that I hated and josh was able to make it look like what I had wanted almost 20 years ago! Highly highly highly recommend. Wish I could post a before and after picture but josh is a true artist.

I have three old tattoos I wanted to get re-inked and talk about getting three new ones so I stopped in last night. Brain and Fritz initially didn't seem convinced the re-ink job would come out too well but Brian did an amazing job. Honestly I am happier with my tattoos now than when they were new! I was also more that pleased with the price. The shop is clean, neat, well lit and friendly. I'm looking forward to scheduling my new tattoos!!!

My experience at Havertown Tattoo was amazing. I went to get my first tattoo and was greeted and tended to right away. The artist I had was Josh Hoffman and he made this the best experience it possible could. He talked to me the whole time joking around with me which helped me through my first tattoo. His work was also astonishing. I highly recommend Josh for any first time and returning tattoo customers. Easy 5/5 thanks for the experience, won’t forget it

Set appointment with Steve, he was real easy to work with. Tattoo day came he was there ready to go with what I wanted, loved his drawing and didn't need to change a thing. His tattooing style is smooth and fast, got the ink deep without tearing me up and it healed with no issues. Consummate professional, skilled, good dude all around. Steve is the only guy I will get tattooed by on the East Coast.

Even though I was told by Pat on Monday July 1st there were no appointments needed for Friday, July 6th when I arrived at 12:20, I was there at 12pm, Josh did not arrive until 12:20, Josh rudely told me he would not be able to tattoo the Philadelphia Eagles logo because he had a 1:30 appointment. Did not care when I explained that Pat told me an appointment was not needed.

My sister wanted to get a tattoo, (she's never had one). She inquired on Monday about setting up an appointment for Friday. She was told by Pat that Friday is an "open day" which meant that no appointment was necessary. Pat even confirmed that info for her. So, today, my brother who flew up from Florida took my sister to the shop to get a tattoo to commerate the Eagles Super Bowl win. It is his birthday gift to her! They arrived at noon which is the opening time for the shop. The shop was not open! They waited and at 12:20 a guy named Josh opened up. My brother and sister went in and were told by Josh that he could not be of service to them. Josh arrogantly told them: "I am an artist and no one makes appointments for me! I make appointments for me"! Josh rudely explained that he had an appointment at 1:30 so would not be able to take her. HE NEVER OFFERED AN ALTERNATIVE!!! If Josh was in a bad mood he had no right to take it out on my sister! She did tell him that she was going to give a bad review on their web site and he just "shrugged" like no big deal!!! In my opinion this is no way for a potential client to be treated!!! JOSH needs to come down off his self built pedestal because there are plenty of artist who would love to have my sister's business!!! My sister is a Havertown resident and always buys from and supports local businesses!!! She'll be spreading the word about how disrespectfully she was treated as will I. Obviously, Havertown Electric Tattoo doesn't need clients! Evidently they get enough!!! As you can see below their web site logo clearly states that WALK-INS ARE WELCOME!!!
