I'm only putting 1 star because the artist I had many recommendations from friends to see wouldn't even consider talking with me. I didn't mind a waiting period, cost was not an option and was extremely excited to have him put his spin on ideas I have. Now I feel lame for even trying. A super discouraging experience.

I had a really bad experience getting a tattoo with Johnny Smith at SWC. The place is nice outside, the lady at the front desk is very friendly, as well as another tattoo artist that works there, but Johnny Smith is from my experience a very unprofessional person. He seemed nice at first, but as we started talking about what I wanted, he didn't seem to care about what I wanted tattooed in my skin and had a "I know better than you" attitude. A girl that was also getting a tattoo told me to trust him because he was the best in the valley. HUGE mistake!! As soon as I left the shop I could not help crying. I hate my tattoo! Besides that, I don't know if J Smith was getting a cold or getting out of one, but during the session I had with him he wiped his running nose several times with his arm while he was tattooing on my skin. One time he even caughed directly on the tattoo. He tried to cover his mouth but it did not work. I freaked out for several days thinking that I could have get an infection or worse. I waited months for this appointment and ended up being one of the worse experiences I've had.

Got the most amazing aircraft carrier on my back piece so detailed you can see the helicopters and airplanes at a reasonable price Megan their office support was amazing and informative

Ross hooked it up! He wasn't even working that day, they gave him a txt and he came right down, made a stencil and was tatt'n me within 20 min! Best script I have, clean lines and added his personal touch on it that made it even better! Highly recommend him! kool dude who knows his Sh!t.

I had 4 consultations at 4 different parlors. At Sweetwater, reception Meg was super helpful getting me in soon. Jonathan was available and he's a very nice guy. My ink was perfection. I'm going back for a chest piece next month.

Haven't gotten the tattoo yet but the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing is take cash they don't take checks and if you use a credit card they charge you about $5.00 for every $100.00.

I was only in the area (Jacksonville, Oregon) for a couple more weeks, and luckily, I was fortunate enough to have one 3 hour appointment open up with Nic Lebrun. Megan helped me book it over the phone, and was very pleasant and nice. When I got there, it was a very welcoming atmosphere and very clean. Nic happened to be right there to help me out. I am a big fan of black&white tattoos and dot work, both being something I think Nic is talented at. The tattoo took about 1.5 hours, and he did an awesome job. He trained under a well known artist (the name is slipping my mind), and he has 2 years experience. Evan, another artist there, had just finished an appointment and was chatting with Nic a bit and having some laughs, Megan popped her head in and cracked some Walmart jokes, Nic made a pun joke involving my tattoo - it was a fun time... anyway, really cool place, great people, comfortable vibes... check'em out.
