Just got my tattoo done yesterday 11/2/2013. Chad was fabulous. This was my fourth tattoo, first with Chad. Other tattoo artists usually make me feel stupid about something I want to get on my body, but Chad was actually nice about it. I just graduated nursing school and wanted to get an ekg rhythm close to my heart to signify this. He warned me about the pain & during the tattoo would take the time to stop & allow me to breath. (can't really breathe properly in that area). I highly recommend him. Nice, personable, & respectable. Been a tattoo artist for 14 years. If you are planning on a tattoo, call Chad! We will definitely go back to him!

We were in town for the weekend for my daughters birthday, called the shop asked if they did walk ins, and what we was wanting done. The lady said yes they did and to come in. Chad, was there when we walked in, instead of making us wait for the other artist, he drew up what we wanted, and filled out the paperwork, and gave us our tattoos. He was extremely nice, very professional, this was my daughters first tattoo, and she loves it! Thank you, Chad.

I'm from NY and was planning a four day trip to OK. I wanted to get a tattoo while I was there with my friend. I contacted a couple of shops, but Hard Luck Tattoos was the only shop that got back to me before I had even arrived in OK. I was taking a risk getting any tattoo in OK since my decision was based solely on reviews. I'm so very happy with the choice that I made and wouldn't recommend any other shop! My tattoo was done by Jackie Jones, who was very professional and makes herself reachable! I first talked to her over the phone and discussed my plans for my tattoo, I then met her when I came in so that she could see the area and get prespective on the size for the tattoo I wanted. She gave my friend and I her cell phone number and told us to send her any pictures that would help with the design, and that she would send us her ideas once she was done. When we did text her she responded quickly and professionally and most importantly, followed through with what she said she was going to do. The day of the tattoo, she was running a little behind so she sent me a text telling me so, so that I didn't have to wait on her. My friend and I had been running around and rushing too so we had planned to eat while we were there. Jackie politely told us that we'd have to eat in the waitING area and that we could while she set up. All of her tools and supplies were sterile and she made sure that nothing non-sterile touched the table she was working on. Jackie was quick but detailed and a delight to spend 3 hours with while I got my tattoo. She engaged in conversation and made both my friend and I feel relaxed and welcomed. I hAve three tattoos, Jackie did my fourth - she was by far the most professional, welcoming, and down to earth artist I've ever had. She did great work and I'd recommend her to anyone in the OKC area!

His use of color and lines are superb. The shop is very clean, and his methods are very sterile. The shop is also in a convenient location near brick town, and the capital. I'm going back in a month for a complimentary color touch-up and definitely going back for more.

The owner Chad said no problem...got my ink very quickly...and talked my best friend & sister into a new 1 as well. I walked-in last week because someone referred me to go visit Chad at Hard Luck Tattoos; man was she right! I wanted a tattoo on my left inner-forearm that was all written in a foreign language (Hebrew). While the design I requested was not intricate in terms of detail or color, it was incredibly intricate in that all of the text is so unlike our English letters. His work was fantastic. Knowing that I’d found the right place, I came back this week for a tat I wanted on my other inner-forearm. This design was very, very complex. I had a mock-up of the design I wanted and gave it to Chad. Understand this, Chad is old-school, and designs his tats by sketching them out free-hand. He made many suggestions during the process, and was receptive of the several requests I made. Because this particular design was so complex, Chad invested additional time in developing his sketch because, as he said, “This is forever.” I’ve been inked in Dallas, Miami, and Los Angeles, and was a tad reluctant about OKC talent; no more. Honestly, Chad’s work is better than any of my other tattoos. I have already referred a family member to go to Hard Luck Tattoos, so I hope you believe me when I say that you won’t find a better group of artists to work with, anywhere. I’ll be back with pics when everything heals up and the colors pop.
