My husband and I got very simple line tattoos for my birthday, but Marc Vass did an awesome job. I got a mom/daughter giraffe as well as "I love you" in elvish. My husband got "I know" in elvish. (Yes, this is a Starwars quote). When he found out the giraffe was for my daughter and that she chose the 1 to get, he involved her by asking heart color, placement, etc. He understood the meaning and it made her extactic to be included. Will be going back for more!

He has done over 10 on me and they all worked out perfectly. Anytime I need help with jewelry and aftercare he is super helpful and never charges me for help. I like everything about his place EXCEPT the fact they give skin divers instead of dermals. They're not as permanent and I've had mine replaced 3 or 4 times which sucks because it doesn't tickle. But they WILL replace them for free which is nice.

I went to have some jewelry changed out. The piercer (Brian) was rude and unapproachable. I had my teenage son and his girlfriend with me and they both noted how rude he was without me saying anything. Since that was their first experience at a tattoo shop I reassured them that's not a typical atmosphere. He did however perk up when I put money in his hand. But it was too little too late. I'm assuming he was rude because he didn't think he'd be paid since I was told there was no charge. However even though he was rude I don't expect anyone to do anything for free. I will not go back for any piercing needs which will also result in me never going there for any future tattoos and I certainly won't recommend them. I would hate to imagine how it would feel to be getting my first piercing and being nervous.

First of all, I want to be absolutely clear that my review is NOT about the quality of work at Hall of Tattoos. Those guys can lay down some serious ink--especially the silver fox. That's why I'm sticking with 5 stars. If I didn't already have a regular artist, I would have no hesitation in letting just about any of them work on me (and I do have a small piece that I love from Mike NoTalent). HOWEVER: If you want a piercing, go on a day that BRIAN is there. They have another piercer early in the week, and he is a JACKASS. I am a teacher, and on the surface I look like it--most of my ink is where it can be covered with clothing. I stopped in to ask a question and he looked me up and down, VISIBLY judged me as being in the wrong place--his facial expression literally changed--, and treated me horribly. I was in a bit of shock because the guys here know me as a regular client of another shop nearby and have always treated me fabulously. Not this dude; he interrupted me, talked loudly to drown me out when I tried to reassert myself, and used a condescending tone. I'm nearly 34 years old and I felt like a misbehaving child as he spoke to me. I didn't even get my actual question answered, because he assumed he knew what I was asking and I gave up trying to have him listen to me. I'm not sure why they brought in this other guy when Brian is an excellent piercer and a very nice and patient man. When he pierced me, he answered all of my questions and was very considerate. Seriously, if you want pierced, show up late in the week and let Brian do it.

I had my tongue pierced by Brian 2 days ago, and I am incredibly happy with it. Walking in the shop, the man at the front desk was very friendly and approachable while having me fill out my paperwork. As soon as I was done, Brian came out and looked over my paperwork and said that he would go set everything up and call me back. I know this is a little different than most places, but it eased my nerves not having to watch and listen to the needle and clamps being opened. Brian was very quick and to the point while doing the piercing, but was friendly and informative with the aftercare instructions. My piercing was over before I knew it, and I'm incredibly happy with the results. I would recommend getting any piercing done by Brian, and I will most likely have my piercings done by him if I get any in the future. I will be back in just over 2 weeks to get my tongue barbell changed out to a shorter one, which they do for free. Great shop, chill environment, and friendly staff.

I went here for my first tattoo and had a superb experience. Initially I went to Main St. Tattoos next door, but they told me my idea was too difficult and that they'd have to charge me extra. So I told them I was going to "think about it" and walked out. I headed 2 doors down to Hall of Tattoos, signed in, showed them my picture (which they actually told me looked cool even if they didn't mean it) and set up an appointment. I'm terrible with names but the whole time I was getting my tattoo, the artist (a gentlemen with a grey beard and glasses) made me laugh- which was awesome considering I was getting it on my ribs (ouch!). Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend them to all of my friends and don't plan on going any where else.

They are also words you wouldn't normally associate with a tat shop. They are kind and compassionate. The work they did for my wife, as she faced her last weeks of life battling brain cancer, was done with great care. Kenny was patient as he worked on her, giving her the care and quality of work he would someone that was going to display his work for years. I can't say enough how much it means to me that they were able to work her in and make her art come to life. Thank you!

My boyfriend went in to get his tongue done, staff at the front was chill, fast with paperwork ect and they got us back there right away. The reason this has such a low review from me is, A. The piercer didn't say more then *stick out your tongue* and *lay here please*. B. Everything was opened and set out well before we got in the room. So we had no way of knowing how long it had been sitting out. He also didn't tell my boyfriend the list of no's that everyone who knows anything about body piercings knows to not do. What if he was an inexperienced person? He wouldn't know any better. And C. I timed the whole thing privately, from when we walked in the room (not the shop) to walking out was 1:06. I'm sorry that's not a very professional thing. He was sweating and nervous out of his mind. In my experience with Profesional Piercers they are always quick to check on you, double check that you actually want this, and put you at ease if you're green to the world of piercing. Over all it was a crap experience and I would never get pierced there.

The hall is my go to place for any tattoos or piercings! They got you covered from simple stuff like getting your child's (or your own) ears pierced, for a more sanitary and professional experience, to full back pieces. The guys are nice and honest. I always recommend that people I know come here. My husband just got "the pick of destiny" on Saturday and I am going to get another tat myself tomorrow!

I went to Hall of Tattoos to get one of the artists to draw up a design for me. He said it would be about a week and told me to write down what I wanted with my name and phone number. Two weeks went by and I never heard anything so I called and they said they would have Mark call me. Three days went by and I never heard anything once again. After the third day I called and they could never find the design with my name and number on it that I had left them. There customer service is very poor and obviously they dont care. I would not recommed them to anyone.

So this was my first time to a tattoo place in Oklahoma. And when I walked in I noticed the place was really clean and really organized. The girl at the front desk was very helpful, very friendly, very customer service oriented. She chatted with me until my piercer was ready. And I really appreciated that.I'm giving them a 4-star because of everything that I previously mentioned and the piercing was very affordable,but my piercer barely said two words to me besides get up on the table, and then lay back. I did mention to him that I had received a piercing before and that I would be repiercing in the same spot. He didn't offer any words of encouragement or conversation and did not tell me anything about after care at all. I guess he assumed because I had piercings already that I was all set but I've been having ear piercings and belly piercings for years I could have forgotten everything that I needed to do. And regardless of how many times you have pierced whatever part of your body, at the end of the day piercings hurt. A little words of encouragement would have been nice, but no such words from my piercer just a very clinical attitude. I think it's important to go through everything, each part each step with a new customer regardless unless they are possibly a repeat customer which I was not. If he is the only piercer they have I will probably go to a different studio for my next piercing because I just did not feel a welcomed feeling for my first time with him. Other than that it was okay.

Initial experience was ok, went in and got a tattoo with my mom in January. Set it up ahead of time. Mom thought the guy who did hers was too rough, and he missed coloring some spots. She is from out of town so couldn't get the offered "free touch up". When I emailed later about my touch up, I was told that the guy who did my tattoo wasnt there anymore, and to come in 10 am sat morning and it would get taken care of. I took this to mean it would get done then. I live 45 mins from the shop and when I got there it looked closed. When I went inside I was told they were closed. When I mentioned the email to the guy(who was actually the same guy I had emailed and the guy who did mom's tattoo), he said he didn't have any openings until 430 or 830 pm. I left.

I have been trying to get a tattoo since I was 18 and I am 27. I have made many appointments at different tattoo places and when I found Hall of Tattoos they were the only ones that made me feel safe and at home there. Ashley is the only person I will let tattoo me. When I went to make my appointment and check the price she explained everything to me and never made me feel uneasy. The day I got my tattoo everyone could tell I was still nervous and the other tattoo artist talked to me to calm me down and the other customers were amazing and Ashley was just amazing. I just got some thing small but this was a big deal for me. I would never trust anyone but Hall of Tattoos to tattoo me. Thank guys can't wait to come get my next one! Thanks Ashley!

Went here on vacation to see my best friend and we got tattoos on our wrist. My tattoo artist was named Mike. He did a horrible job on my tattoo and within 3 days the tattoo faded away a little and the circle on my tattoo isn't even a circle and the triangles are all different sizes and spaced apart all differently too. I left back home the next day and I plan on going to get it touched up soon but I know I will never recommend this place to anybody. Such a waste of $70.

Went to go get my nose pierced here and the two men that were there were both very rude and short with me and my husband. The man who ended up piercing my nose huffed and puffed anytime I asked a question and didnt explain anything to me as how to clean it or what gauge he was even using or anything at all. I wanted a hoop and he put in a stud anyways and sent me on my way. Also the whole place looked dirty to me and the needle he used to pierce me looked used, neither my husband or I saw him open anything new he just put some rubbing alcohol on it. The only good thing I have to say was that it was very quick.
