I waited awhile before posting a review, figured it wouldn’t make a difference the mistake made on my tattoo is permanent...but maybe you should know that the tattoo given to me at Atomic Lotus Tattoo is something that is not admired by my friends, rather it is something they openly joke about and laugh at. My tattoo artist changed my design, in theory ok, in reality he placed a palm tree where it looks like the tree is, as my friends say, she has a stick up her butt, or “broom displacement” as I call it. There are other issues too, which don’t thrill me, but not as obvious. My disappointment continues to grow.

First let me start by saying the Tattoo artist Che was amazing. He really took the time to understand what I wanted. He was professional and compassionate to the reason I was getting the tattoo. I am so glad I was able to be tattooed by him while he is in Oklahoma City. Now with that said I have to talk about the front desk staff. Totally JERKS!!!! The lady who was helping me was condescending and short with me. I was already in an emotional state because of the reason I was getting the tattoo(my mother passed away and it was dedicated to her). I just don’t understand why she was so rude. I mean it does not cost anything to be nice or at the very least professional. I love getting tattoos and have a number of them, the waiting, the pain, the aftercare, the cost are all things that I don’t mind but the rudeness of some of the people in tattoo shops is something I am plainly........getting tired of. Perhaps this young lady was just having a bad day or just in a mood but I work in a field were people are constantly upset and hostile with me and I manage to keep a professional attitude. You would think a person working in this field would find a little joy in their job and not be so rude. I’m sure you get plenty of jerks and hard to deal with people but that is no excuse to treat one of your very first customers of the day with such rudeness. I feel like a rambling but I just feel so strongly about how rude the young lady was at the front desk. I sincerely hope she reads this and just perks up a little and is more genuine and polite to people.

It had been a while since I had any work done, but I had been told great things about Atomic Lotus and went there with a friend when he got some work done. I ended up getting one done while I was there on their walk-in day. The staff was professional, courteous, and fair with their pricing. They are willing to work with you to make your design look as amazing as possible, but know that what you want to get won't always fit with size, design, etc. What I like about Atomic Lotus is that they're not afraid to be upfront if they can't do your design in a way that will make you happy. Some shops are more than happy to take your money even if they know your work will look crummy in a few years; Atomic Lotus will give it to you straight. Highly recommended!

Very rude, not the greatest atmosphere for getting a tattoo. They didn’t make me feel welcome at all. When discussing my tattoo ideas, the reactions were insulting. Wouldn’t recommend, save your money for something that will provide a great experience!

Just got my first tattoo done here and it was fantastic! Good costumer service and Erik did our tattoo and he was very talented and a very nice and relatable guy. They were very clean and had reasonable prices as well. I highly recommend.

I've received four tattoos from here, but unfortunately I won't be returning again. Back when I was younger, not as tattooed, and much less experienced, I always felt as if the staff (I don't know specific names) were irritated by my questions. And now that I'm more inked, every time I have been back, they have had something negative to say about my other art. The last time I was in, my artist looked rudely remarked that the piece on my arm was the best he had ever seen come out of "that" shop. It was clearly not meant as a compliment, either. The quality of my first three tattoos is good, but my last one was frustratingly subpar. My vision was not realized even in the slightest. I requested specific colors, and I got the exact opposite. I sent TONS of reference pictures, and they were ignored in favor of a quick google image search instead. The artist looked like he wanted to get me out of there as soon as possible to get the next person in. (3+) Other professional artists have noted that the lineart was shaky, and I personally feel that it looks like it was slapped on as quickly as possible with little regard for my "vision". Unfortunately, it's DARK and in a tight space, making it difficult to fix or cover up...I just made the decision to get it removed. A few of the staff are REALLY friendly and welcoming, their pricing is good, and they definitely are safe about the tattoo process, so I'll give them that!

The costumer service was excellent. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I didn’t have an appointment and I was in within 20 mins. The people at the desk were very nice and helpful. The cost was very reasonable and you get the bang for you buck. I had the tattoo Artist Erik, he only works weekends, but I would definitely recommend him. Over all, this tattoo shop was great.

Overpriced and have been very rude both times I went in there. Make me feel totally out of place. When telling them what type of tattoo I want they just treat me like I’m stupid. Not sure what quality of work is like because I have never felt comfortable enough to actually get a tattoo from them.

Went here to get my first tattoo. Just wanted to go to a place that made me feel comfortable which they did. They actually talked to me, and helped me plan out the appointment. The place is clean and has great energy running through it all. The tattoo still looks amazing and is well pigmented. It took no more then 3 hours, and even got a cute aftercare card that I still reference. I believe the guys name was David, 50/50 chance he's still there. But, it was worth it. Thanks my dudes.

I got 2 tattoos here from Randy about 2 years ago, I love my tattoos they turned out perfect, exactly what I had envisioned i get so many compliments on it everyday from random people and people you'd never think liked tattoos, randy was very friendly and so was the other staff that I encountered! All my other tattoos were done by other shops before I was referred here to Randy and out of everywhere I've gone this place was the most professional, friendly and clean! Nothing is worse than an arrogant tattoo artist that doesn't realize YOU are the one paying them! All these bad reviews saying they were over priced well you get what you pay for, you want to cheap out on your tattoo its gonna look cheap! I think I'll stop in today to see about my next peice!

First time going here and it couldn't have been a better experience. I came in on a Friday and got a small tattoo of Felix. It was done by a guest artist, Justin. He was real nice and did a great job. If I have the chance I would have him do another one. So, thank you Justin! Where are you? Anyways, the real reason I went here was to feel them out and question whether or not they had someone that could do a cover up. They did. Dave Hek. He looked at the old one, I told him I wanted to cover it up with a Koi, and he said " No problem!" So, here we are after 4 grueling sessions and I couldn't be happier with the out come. So thank you Hek! You did a magnificent job! He was very polite through out the sessions, but I have never really had a rude artist. He was professional and kept everything clean. The rest of the staff was the same. Polite and professional. Thank you. So, would I recommend them to anyone? Well duh! I will be going back.

I love this place. I have 4 tattoos done here, my first by Josh, 2 & 3 done by Randy, and the most recent one was done by a guest artist, Charly. They are all outstanding artists, the bring in great guests, and everyone in the shop has a good attitude and a sense of humor. They're extremely accommodating for walk-ins, and they give great advice. They won't let you leave here with a bad tattoo.

I have two tattoos. I received one from Atomic Lotus roughly 2 years ago, and I got my second one from a different shop with better reviews last night. Come to find out, Atomic Lotus charged me double for my first tattoo. I didn't know any better back then because it was my first tattoo. I love the tattoo, and I had no issues with infections; however, this shop clearly charges more when they know their customer won't know any better. I am very disappointed in this business' ethical standing. My suggestion to anyone getting a tattoo is to look for a shop with better reviews that won't charge you double just because they can. Now, I know you don't want to go CHEAP on something that will be on your body for the rest of your life, but when considering tattoo shops, look at the shop's online reputation and their price points. Other people's experiences are insights of what to expect.
