Not only is the front desk staff rude and condescending, they make you buy their overpriced jewelry even to pierce your ears. Terrible selection. I spent $100 on an earring that broke the first time I took it out. They say their jewelry is high quality but this is the cheapest flimsiest earring I’ve ever seen. Earrings from Claire’s are sturdier than this. I went with my friend who was getting her ears re-pierced, and all in all for 4 earrings and 4 piercings we spent well over $500 so to have one of the earrings break the first time I take it out is ridiculous. This place is not worth the hype or the money.

Great piercers, poor customer service. Received a certificate for my birthday that got lost in a move and they told me I was basically SOL. So we gave them $75 and received no help or services. I’ve been coming here for many years and have run into some snobby people on occasion or have had bad customer service, but always came for the quality piercings. But if they can really tell me they keep ZERO record of any gift certificates (working a lot of small business retail there has always been some kind of record or paper trail for me to follow so I find that excuse confusing), but are happy to pocket my money without lifting a finger to help, I can take my money elsewhere. Not a great way to retain customers, but oh well.

I went into the the store today, 04/08/2019 at 12:16 PM and was waiting my turn like a normal person. I already knew what I wanted to buy. There were 2 young ladies that came in well after me, but one of the guys (I won't describe him) proceeded to help them first. The other guy working the counter tried to tell him that I was supposed to be next, but he didn't pay any mind. Maybe he was embarrassed. Maybe he thought he could acquire the ladies' phone numbers if he helped them next. IDK. I don't care if Jennifer Aniston comes in my store. I'm helping whoever comes in first. But that's just me. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because they gave me a Veteran's discount. Needless to say, I won't be back.

I had an amazing experience here. I came on my Birthday 7/7 to get a nose piercing! Everyone in facility was amazing and helpful with the questions I had. My piercer Francisco was kind and did an excellent job. My piercing didn't even hurt like I expected and I was nervous for nothing! Its been 3 weeks and everything is still amazing. My piercing actually never swelled, turned red, or got painful. Im still so excited!

I was really surprised by the setup of this shop, but I have to give kudos to everyone working there for being extremely professional and efficient. Upon walking in, I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of people in the waiting room but also reassured that so many people want their piercings done here. Once you talk to someone behind the counter, you fill out your paperwork and pick out a ring. They were super friendly and answered all of my questions. Then you wait for your name to be called to a piercing room. I think I saw at least 4 rooms and there are numerous piercers working at once. My piercer was very thorough and explained the whole process to me as he was getting everything ready. It is fast and as painless as possible! Once it is done, you pay in the room and off you go! My piercer said this shop has the highest volume of piercings in the country and are also the oldest shop. I was incredibly impressed by the process and the customer service provided here. Job well done!

I came into their shop today for a re piercing on my nose since it had closed a few weeks ago (not knowing that it was still open and was just hard to push through with a needle) and had a horrible experience!! I waited for about 15 minutes while they had artists just standing around and when I was finally helped the man was very rude and irritated that my nose was still open. Once I was able to go back to get it pushed through again the man doing the piercing was very aggressive (mind you I had my nose pierced since 2014 and it NEVER hurt to get it pierced the first time) and had both eyes watering so bad they were running down my face. It still hurts just as bad as when I got it done for about an hour after I had left this place. After I was completely done with my piercing they never informed me if I had to keep up with it again or if I should just leave it alone. I will never get any work done with them again after my first experience with them! I do not recommended this place at all.

The shop is awesome. Our piercer was magnificient! Great selection of jewelry. The front counter lady was downright rude and condescending. Many others in the shop were as well. Stop taking yourself so serious. Smile, laugh and have a little fun. Customer service goes a long way. I have many piercings, I've always felt very comfortable when getting them done. This shop had me feeling anxious and that I had to walk on egg shells in fear of saying the wrong thing. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they were totally boring and had no sence of humor.

I got a second piercing on January 17th, 2019 the service was fast and friendly! Andrew helped me pink out a hoop nose piercing and even customized my hoop from silver to pink! Ben is the young man that actually did my piercing he was fast and the pain didn’t last long, he was very nice and knowledgeable. Best shop in the state. Amazing selection, extremely clean and organized, great staff. My septum piercing is a bit crooked, even after a few months, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. I've seen a lot of their work though, and that's a rare occurrence. The tip begging though... The whole idea of tipping in any industry, rather than employees being paid a higher wage, is absurd. It's almost offensive here with repeated reminders to tip from staff and signs on every wall.

I got my left nostril pierced on my 50th birthday and it was such a special experience. The gentleman who did the work was very professional yet personable and did an excellent job. Explain to me what I might experience if there were difficulties and how to deal with it. It was an important Act to be true to myself, finally. I had just achieved tenure in my school, and there was nothing in the handbook about piercings so I wore silver nose ring on the left side for five years before I took it out when my husband bought me a beautiful golden ring, and I wore that for a couple of years. Some designs are better than others. The first two had a little ball that front end of the Ring should fit into after you've inserted it into the hole. If you have to take it out more than once or twice, it loses its shape and it becomes impossible to insert that bit into that ball. There's a new design I really like it's like a nail except the tip isn't as sharp as a nail but it goes it's open it doesn't it doesn't close and you insert the front end of the Ring into the hole inside your nose and pull it through and there is a little plate like on a nail at the end and that stops at the whole so you've got a lovely ring that is easy to change if you need to take it out for a procedure or something. I have one like that and it's turquoise and I want another one that's purple. These folks have been consistent with good service and quality jewelry for years. Why even contemplate going elsewhere?

My boyfriend has plugs. As someone that barely has tattoos or piercings, going to places like these have always been really intimidation to me, if I have to be honest. Upon first entering, I was even more nervous as it looks absolutely stunning and it was quite busy. I looked at different plugs for a while, but knew I needed to seek guidance as my boyfriend's ears won't stretch over his flares anymore. I asked for help after about 5 minutes and Andy immediately was there to help. I first explained that I really honestly don't know what I'm doing and that I needed guidance on a few things. I had heard of the silicone stretching method but knew that my boyfriend thought that was really painful. Right off the bat, Andy started explaining why silicone is the worst thing you can do to your earlobe and recommended either doing a single flare glass or a single flare steel plug instead. The way Andy expressed himself and talked with enthusiasm made me feel totally normal and not awkward like I felt in the beginning. I truly cannot wait to show my partner this place. Thank you for making me feel comfortable Andy!

I'm not from Oklahoma but I have a friend who is. Every time I go visit her I make sure to make a trip to 23rd. They're always pretty busy but take the time to attend everyone, even those of us who are just walk-ins. I've gotten multiple piercings (nipples, industrial, second nose piercing and conch) there from different piercers and each experience has been wonderful - from the people at the front desk who are very knowledgeable and patient to the actual piercers who are always comforting and helpful. Any questions I've ever had had been answered kindly and were informative. Very clean place, private rooms, large variety of jewelry and reasonably priced. I won't go anywhere else for a piercing!

I love this place, I've always had very good experiences with the exception of my most recent one. Carrie is usually there and she's very friendly, always willing to answer questions, and very clean, but yesterday the guy who put my hoops back in (I have double nostril piercings but had retainers in for a bit) didn't talk almost the entire time, and didn't clean it either. I expected it to hurt because it's fairly new and swells, so when it bled I did expect him to do more than just dab at it with a wet paper towel. It freaked me out a little because every other time I've gone in they are obsessed with cleanliness. Otherwise 5 stars.

Just went to this place today, and got my nose pierced. I have a fear of needles, so it was kind of a last hurrah for my 30th birthday, to prove I could. Only complaint is that there was a bit of a wait, due to it being busy. Front desk people were very friendly! No idea why people keep complaining about that. I had no issues! I've had my septum (in nose, between nostrils) pierced 3 years ago and it healed like a charm. My piercer was so nice and friendly and explained everything beforehand and made sure I was comfortable with everything before opening anything. So, today I got my labret (in the center, right under my bottom lip) pierced and it was the same wonderful experience. This one hurts afterwards more than the septum, but getting pierced itself took 10 seconds max and the pain during it was a 6/10 at the most. New needles, everything super sanitized, simple process, no piercing guns ever (personally, I think they get offended at the idea of them

Clean, attentive, and very instructive. Lots of jewelry to choose from. After care instructions are presented on a large TV with videos showing what to do and what not to do. Prices seemed a bit high, but you pay for the knowledge and experience. The place is obviously doing a good business. It felt comfortable and not intimidating, like a lot of tattoo shops do.

I definitely recommend her. The front counter is another story. The attendant, a male, is quite rude. He made me not want to return because I felt mocked and talked down on. Ben Higgs was our piercer and he was super professional while still being kind. Informed us on everything we needed/wanted to know and was down for nice casual conversation. This place is too much unnecessary hype. I have had more than one bad experience all because I wanted to stay loyal to the piercing artist, but it's just not worth the condescending arrogant service received at the front desk, especially from Andy. He needs a snickers or just needs to be trained on customer service. You have a job because of customers, you wouldn't have gotten so much attention without them. Artists practice being humble while being creative and this is not what this place represents...after the 4th unfortunate time of getting bad service, I was given bad advice on irritated piercing. After visiting a different location, he told me to stop what was advised and suggested a different method to heal my piercing. He took the time to hear me, talk me through how to heal my irritated piercing and fast forward to now. All healed up. No issues. After having irritation for close to a year and bad advice from the counter and being refused to be seen just to get it looked at. Definitely sending my business partners to the other location (SB Body Arts), 23rd will still be overhyped because regardless of hiring bad employees like Andy, you will continue to use customers money to advertise how amazing you are. Nope.

Thank you so much for the amazing customer service! The lady, whose name I can't remember but had a bobbed haircut, was extremely patient and helpful. She found, damn near, the same jewelry to match! The piercer, Shane, did an amazing job. He was very kind, calm and communicative. The shop was busy and the wait time was long but I think that is a good thing because it shows they have consistent business and take their time with the customers. No one likes to feel that they are a nuisance. The shop was, also, very clean and the jewelry orderly. I loved how they immediately tell you price ranges for what you're looking for. It really really helps when making a decision. 10/10 definitely recommend. P.S. (this is not important), I was an idiot and asked if they moved stores. Which they didn't. It looked different but then I, literally, thought about it for a good 5 minutes and then I realized I was mixing up shops from when I had moved. I'm getting old. D:

Way too expensive for no reason, they only get 3 stars because of the friendly, informative staff. $50 for a surgical ss nose ring is ridiculous 160$ for 2 piercings is ridiculous. He had to stick the needle in 3 times to get the jewelry in.. Man did it hurt. Really quick and precise, but not painless. My septum was deviated though ,even though I never broke it ..So I'll give him the benifit of the doubt because it's straight. The belly though ..Only time will tell, looks off when she stands up, looks straight when she sits down. It's odd, probably get it checked out and hope for the best Great staff, ridiculous pricing. It's 30 dollars at mystical illusions and 40 at big daddy's. So it would have been 60-80. But instead, it was 160$ for a nose and belly here Great staff Really informative Only go here if you want premium care that feels really overpriced

Went to get my ear cartilage pierced the two people at the front desk were very rude. They made me feel rushed and dumb. When I asked to look at a different piece of jewelry the woman would make a face at me. The male working the front asked me to scoot away at the counter till I made a decision. The counter is where all the jewelry is. My piercer was very nice and knowledgeable but the front made the experience awful. I will not be returning.

Knowledgeable staff, high quality jewelery, and prices to match. If you're looking for high end jewelery this is the place. The selection for large gauge pieces was a little lacking but I understand it's a niche market. Very nice place overall.
