I had such a good experience with Matt, the owner. I had a death in the family and Matt did a memorial piece for me. He does great work, was so helpful and made sure that the tattoo turned out how I wanted it. I've been to a lot of places in Columbus and this was one of the best experiences I've had. Definitely worth it and I recommend anyone that wants tattooed check out Matt, the owner of Identity Tattoo

Lux did such an amazing job on my grapes. I got this for my Uncle who has lung cancer and she made this such a positive experience. She was very flexible and helped make sure it was EXACTLY what I wanted. I couldn't be happier. The shop is super awesome as well.

I never got tattoed so i can't speak for that but i will say that the communication with me was extremely poor. The lack of communication makes me believe that my business is not needed here. I will not be recommending or coming back. I wish you all the best on the future with communication.

The day started off with a dark cloud lingering over our family, as today would’ve been my father-in-law’s 86th birthday. Three family members decided to get tribute tattoos. Matt Calhoun at Identity Tattoo did an incredible job making sure each of them had a tattoo unique to their relationship with their dad/grandpa. Matt will never know what he did for us today! It was way more than just being our tattoo artist. He turned a very sad day into something we will always smile about when this day rolls around, year after year.

I went to a gentleman named Logan . He showed up two and a half hours late for my appointment, decided to eat his lunch while I sat there waiting, despite being late . Then he rushed my tattoo and I currently have bands on me that are not even , connected, or straight. I could’ve almost tattooed myself at this point . I asked him if he could correct it and he complained they didn’t have transportation to the shop and that everything was okay and he told me the tattoo was difficult to do. Asked for refund, He told me I ain’t getting my money back Homie. Should not be a tattoo artist anywhere and it’s a disgrace that identity has allowed him to work at their shop . I reached out to the owner and he is rude as well. This place is honestly awful, go to another tattoo shop. Going to high end shop to see if coverable, if not laser it off.

Went in on a whim for a quote I'd been wanting on my forearm. Had an excellent experience. Big Nate did a phenomenal job! Never really got the "tattoo addiction" from my previous tats but seeing how great this one came out, I can't wait to get another one, and will definitely be going back to Identity. I had the best experience at Identity Tattoo Parlor! The environment is extremely comfortable to be in and Lux is just amazing! I originally had her draw up a piece and then when I saw it on me I thought it was too big and she changed it probably 50 times for me to the point that she redid the whole design! She was extremely patient and drew a tattoo that was exactly what I wanted and that I absolutely love! She didn’t make me feel pressured to get something I wasnt sure of and just made me feel so comfortable. She really goes above and beyond for her clients and not to mention, her work is incredible! I will definitely recommend this shop and her to everyone I know!

Writing this about 2 months after getting my tattoo. I'm happy to say this place was great and I'd recommend to anyone. The shop is very clean and the artists are friendly and helpful. I gave my idea to one of the guys there (Damon I think?) and they hooked me up with their geometric artist based on what I wanted done. Lux worked with me to draw it up based on my idea but tweaked it to make it perfect. Everything healed very nicely in a week or two and I'm still pumped with how it turned out! I'll be coming back in the future.
