Athena is an amazing artist! She is very easy to talk with and is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about her craft. I gave her a few examples of what I liked and she created a tattoo that is unique, absolutely beautiful, and exactly what I wanted. Her shop is clean, very comfortable, and welcoming. I recommend her and her shop to everyone that comments on my tattoo! Definitely one of the best tattooing locations in the region.

Athena is beyond talented! She is so skilled and precise with her work. I had gotten a couple small tattoos from her years ago and was very happy with them. Flash forward a few years and I am ready to get some more tattoos. There was an apprentice who seemed to be doing decent so I tried him out and ended up disappointed. Turns out he was not honest about his experience and the reason for his photos of tattoos was due to guidance and teaching that he felt he no longer needed but the end result of my tattoo showed he was not ready to be on his own. I reached out to Athena and she happily agreed to fix it. I was just hoping for a touch up, but she reworked the entire thing and it is now beautiful. I also had another tattoo done by Athena and it is perfect. I will be trusting her with all future work and recommend her to anyone!

Phenomenal Artists. Professional in their work. A deep sense of pride in the art they create. A must see studio. I stopped in for a consult on a cover up. Knowing Athena takes her art very serious I was comfortable giving her an idea and where I want it and she ran with it. After spending what I would assume to be hours of drawing when I showed up for day one the picture she drew far exceeded my expectations. The work is truly amazing having no time to heal I had gotten multiple compliment already. Can't wait to show off the finished product!

Athena just finished my half sleeve today. She took a rough idea that I had and turned it into something I would have never came up with on my own. Very professional but also personable. The entire shop was clean and made me feel comfortable. Plus her music playlists are top notch! I would definitely recommend Athena and her shop to anyone looking for a great tattoo experience!

While Athena may be a talented artist, I feel she did not respect my time or my money. At my consult she told me my half sleeve would be 3 full day sessions. We scheduled a 4th session “just in case.” I have had 4 full day sessions with her and my half sleeve is still not finished. Every session I had with her started at least an hour late. I had to use vacation time at work to accommodate the sessions and I felt horribly taken advantage of when I ended up waiting in her lobby for over an hour each session while she socialized with the other shop employees. She took multiple breaks per hour, none of which were at my request. I have since visited with multiple highly reputable artists in the FM area and they were all appalled with the lack of work she did in 4 sessions; every single one of them saying the work that she did should not have taken more than 2 full day sessions. My time and money are extremely valuable to me and I feel she disrespected both. I will not be returning to Athena, when I am paying that amount of money ($750 a session, plus tip), I expect to be the artists only focus, and never once during my 4 sessions with Athena did I feel that way.

I received a tattoo from their apprentice Bea. She was very meticulous w her work and of course very personable. I respected that she and Athena were honest about Bea's expertise level and we all worked together to get the best placement for my tattoo that would make me happy while retaining the integrity of the design and not push Bea out of her comfort zone. I was impressed that Athena not only recommended techniques for Bea to use during my session, but also explained WHY something should be done. My piece is only a few days old, but I'm confident it will look excellent once healed. Bea did great! Love this shop. Friendly and knowledgeable in a really cool setting. Great vibes here all around.
