Sunshine and Iron Ink are both wonderful. I came to know Sunshine when I was in the 3rd grade and told her I wanted pink hair like she had. Luckily I had awesome parents who bought the dye from her and I got my picture put in one of her books! I promised her on that day that I would come to her for my first tattoo. When I turned 16, I started going to Iron Ink to get my piercings. I have gauges, my nose, my lip, an industrial bar, my conch, and my tragus. All were done great and I never had any issues with any of them. When I turned 18, Sunshine herself did my first tattoo like we had promised. I have never been more in love with any tattoo than I was with this one. She gave me exactly what I wanted and gave me her 100%. I’m 25 now and the tattoo still looks as beautiful as it did that day! More recently, I had an awful tattoo on my forearm and I went to Sunshine to try and get it fixed. She turned it into something beautiful and I regretted not just going to her first. Sunshine does amazing things for her community to try and protect people from improper use of tattoo machines and home piercings. She is always extremely friendly and will do everything she can to give you what you are looking for. I would recommend her 120% to anyone looking for tattoos or piercings!

I am a former apprentice of Sunshine’s. I want to strongly, STRONGLY discourage anyone who is thinking of going to this shop to go elsewhere. First of all, she doesn’t wash her hands after or before half of the tattoos she does. There’s a lot of cross-contamination within the shop. She’s a really loud/obnoxious/rude person. She’ll try to talk over you and get you to change your design. Her tattoos, if you look at her portfolio either on Facebook or Instagram, look like a home-job that went wrong and are so darkly shaded you really can’t tell what some of them are without studying them. I have a tattoo from her, and the lines are scratchy and super wack. I would not recommend her to anyone. When I decided tattooing wasn’t for me, I quit working at the shop and she ripped up my permit in my face, yelled at me, and grabbed me by my arm and drug me from the lobby with customers in there and I never even raised my voice at her. I had went to pick up my things (came from my house, some machines given to me from family/friends) which she locked in the storage room and told me I was not getting back. Not only is she a terrible tattoo artist, but she’s a terrible person as well and will send you home looking like a chicken ran all over you and left you with some scars. Very friendly workers. Great with explaining everything you need to know about what service you are getting whether it be tattoos or piercings. You can not take children and no one is allowed back with you but they make you very comfortable. Very sanitary as well. Right beside the drive through store if you don't slow down you will miss it. Gravel driveway and parking area.

I have been getting tattooed by SunShine for 18yrs. She is very clean, professional, honest, etc... She does a great job, and I have never had any problems with her nor my tattoos/piercings. I also go to her for my piercings. I have a great experience everytime! I live by the saying, “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it!”. Find an artist that gives you this kind of experience and that you love and stick with them! Don’t shop hop! If you don’t already have an artist, then I highly recommend for you to give her a try! You won’t regret it! Her and everyone at Iron Ink is awesome!

Personally looked at sunshine's work, it was really bad. She is very crude, and tried to convince me to get a tattoo I did not like. The lady at the counter was friendly and another artist tried to help me decide on a tattoo but I didn't like the flash she had available. I would not recommend Sunshine to tattoo or pierce, especially after I watched her finish a tattoo and SHE DID NOT wash her hands. Every portfolio of hers I saw looked like a child who never learned to color inside the lines. I think she must manipulate a lot of people who don't know about tattooing standards.

Beware of scamming: ALWAYS CHECK ARTIST'S PHYSICAL PORTFOLIOS BEFORE COMMITTING TO A TATTOO OR PUTTING DOWN A DOWN PAYMENT. Never leave any artwork in this shop, the owner has been known to steal from other artists & destroy their personal property. This place can have some reasonable deals sometimes, but honestly the only good time to go for piercings is when they do a blood drive. You usually receive a discount for donating blood and can come back to redeem it after your recovery period. Trust me when I say you're very limited on what piercings and jewelry you get for those vouchers. Follow them on Facebook to find out when deals are available. Starter piercing jewelry should never have plastic, or acrylic pieces, those are only intended for fully healed piercings. Jewelry should always be auto-clave safe. (for individual sterilization) please make sure you understand what you should look for before you get any body modifications. The H2Ocean aftercare they provide for tattooing is not for everyone, (I think H2Ocean's products are amazing) For piercings there are spray and soaps, and they also sell mouth rinses, and their tattoo soaps are excellent as well. However, (This is from personal experience and the experiences of my customers) if you have very dry skin it is often better to use a non-petroliate aftercare, (do some research before getting you tattoos) Something aloe based often works best for me. I did not add any personal opinions on Sunshine's work, because I never got any tattoos from her. Like I said I can only tell you to look at EVERY artists physical portfolio in the shop before letting anyone tattoo you. (That's good advice anywhere you go.) Hope this helps.

This is where I took my 17 year old to have her gauges pierced & sized up. Procedure was private, clean and efficient. They were thorough in explaining her responsibilities for cleaning the piercing. It's been over a year, she's sized up more than twice and she's had no infection issues. She also had her lip pierced here. Again, great experience.

Sunshine was a great help when my daughter had her ear pierced at another shop. She developed a keloid that we could not get to go away. Sunshine replace the earring with a titanium ring. Apparently my daughter had a reaction to the other type of metal used. Her ear is doing much better now.
