(Actually I loved Tommy’s responses to the VERY few neg reviews, true New Yorker) Tommy did my first tattoo...loved the place and the job he did I decided to go back and get a second one!!! I tried to find a place whilst visiting NYC and decided on this one after reading the reviews. Well worth it and definitely a 5 star experience! Very close to Times Square, so expect prices to be a bit higher because of that (but still fair). That said, Sasha did my piece and was exceptionally thorough and patient! Everyone I met in here (Dennis and Tommy) also seemed really cool and would have been happy to have any of them do my latest piece. No photo right now as the cling film is still on but I’m so happy with my latest ink and may try to return for more, if time permits!

We walked in, told the artists the idea of what we each wanted and Sasha and Erica worked with us so well. I had been wanting a tattoo on my foot for a while and Sasha designed one for me in about a half an hour that was perfectly what I wanted! Everyone was so nice it was an overall great experience.

I love this place :D This is a wonderful atmospehre to get a tattto, all the artists are amazing especially Erica. I got my first tattoo at this shop and she was so patient and kind. I came in with a bunch of ideas for a cat with a bowtie and she was able to give me my dreamforever tattoo. The detail and the artistry at this place is incredible. You can literally come up with any design and the artist will do a better job than the image you had in mind. This is such a friendly and fun studio. Me and my two girlfriends came in as walk-ins. The process was easy and they were very informative. I had Erica and she was fantastic, her work was clean, beautiful and gentle. Between the three of us we were out within 2 hours or so. Would recommend coming in when they open around 12 which is what we did, serviced right away and by the time we left so many people had come in so it was good timing on our part. Will definitely always keep this shop in mind for future visits in the city

AMAZING! The girls are great, especially Sasha who did my tattoo. It didn't hurt anywhere near as much as previous tattoo and they are both friendly, understanding and helpful. Was in New York for the day. I thought I would stop by the shop for a custom piece. I had read the reviews online so I felt pretty safe about going here. The location was very easy to find. I met Nick and he was able to draw up exactly what I wanted. I did not have to wait and was taken care of right away. The view was fantastic. I loved looking across the way and seeing water towers and buildings. Nick was very professional. He did a great job. He is quick and light handed. The shop was very clean. No worries here. Worst Tattoo experience I ever had... And I have a lot of tattoos ! Me and my best friend did a friendship tattoo together and went spontaneously to that shop. The girl there was very nice and friendly. She tattooed my best friend and another „tattoo-artist“ tattooed me, so we did the tattoo at the same time. Her tattoo was very nice, thin and beautiful. My tattoo looks horrible. The guy how did that to me was very unfriendly and I could‘t take a look on my tattoo when he was done. Cause he did a paper and tape on it very fast. I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I SAW MY TATTOO THE FIRST TIME, WHEN I SAW IT 2 HOURS LATER. Don‘t go to this tattoo-shop. And when, please to that lady ! NEW ANSWER: Hi there ! First, thanks for your answer. I hope some people read this post. Your answer is one more reason NOT to visit this tattoo shop. To attack me personally is an absolute no go. In addition, I said from the beginning that it cost 130.-, also said that I no longer have the receipt. BUT since I was paying by credit card, it deducted the amount WITH ALL THE DETAILS from my account. This charge I SHOW YOU, YOU DID NOT GIVE ME A DEBIT. YOU told me that the TATTOO cost you FOUR 120.-. So YOU WANTED to flee ME 10.-. WHO IS NOW THE LIAR? And the tattoo: It was clear to me from the beginning that the tattoos would not look the same. It is not my first tattoo. The point is: You had an original photo + template of the tattoo, and you did not TATTOW IT ACCORDINGLY. Now it is for the most part healed. The lines are not right at all, the line you addressed is solid. Enclosed I send my tattoo + the picture, as I would have liked. I think the pictures speak for themselves and the difference is definitely visible. I could not look at the "finished" tattoo because you hid it directly. I could never look at it in the mirror because of you and never confirmed how you wrote it. In the end, it should be a nice memory of New York that you have not fulfilled. With my "problems" that you have addressed, you were absolutely right. Because the problems arose BEFORE YOU. I hope you can deal better with criticism in the future. Greetings, Livia

Got a sigil (Hecate) tattoo on mid April, 2019, by Nick. I was very stoked about the results. Even though it is a "straight forward" tattoo, it does have it's complexities on some of the details. It came out beautiful, as if it were computer generated. AMAZING! Went back to get another sigil tattoo. Same awesome results. Highly recommended!

Loved my experience here... Visited on May 12th 2019 & got a fine line, watercolour & silhouette tattoo of NYC (done by Nick)... Best tattoo I’ve got, great shop - clean, staff are friendly, fair prices, fab atmosphere... Just the best! We went in as a group of 4 and therefore, had to book an appt to go back a few days later, but knowing we were only in NY for a trip, they accommodated us all & even stayed open after hours to make sure we all got our tattoos before heading back to the UK the following day... REALLY can’t speak highly enough of this place... Can’t wait to go back to NYC & will definitely be paying another visit here

Got a piece done here with substantial detail. Erica did an amazing job and it turned out great! She charged for 2.5 hours but it went well into 3-3.5. Amazing artist. Only reason not 5 stars is when I got back I noticed a small piece was missing shading, no big deal still looks good. I'm sure she would have fixed it if it were noticed at the time.

First off, the shop is totally clean and obviously very well taken care of. I felt comfortable from the minute I walked in. Then there's Tommy. I had a challenging piece since Bruce Springsteen had just signed my arm in pretty thick sharpie. On top of that, the humidity had already caused the lines to thicken more. Tommy managed to keep the integrity of the signature identical while toning down the lines. He also kept it looking like an actual signature using some crazy "Tommy technique" which resulted in the most amazing tat. I love it so much and I HIGHLY recommend this place and Tommy. (Super nice guy too!)

I have been wanting to get some lines of script for awhile. After looking at shop pages in states I regularly visit, I almost gave up on finding a shop that showcased small straight sharp lines I would want permanently on my body. Times Square tattoo website with a range of photos including small detailed tattoos with lots of sharp straight lines impressed me enough to come in. Everyone’s professionalism and Tommy’s guidance to the artist Sasha gave me confidence on the shops abilities. No one I’ve sent pictures to believes it’s a tattoo, it really looks like the script was printed directly on my arm by and ink jet printer. I found artist Nicholas Jones through Instagram. One view at his art did it for me. Many people tried to convince me to go to a “cheaper” tattoo artist. Cheaper does NOT mean better. I’m an artist myself & I really appreciated his art. There was no convincing me out of it. I would’ve paid any price for what I wanted. I drew something up that was very personal to me & he gave me exactly what I wanted. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect tattoo. I did a walk in with my friend and the girls working were super sweet to us! This was my first tattoo, so I was very nervous about it, but my tattoo artist (Anastasia) comforted me the whole way through and did a perfect job with what I wanted done. My friend was also very happy with what she had done as well (by Sasha) and the prices were fair. I thought the atmosphere of the place was really nice, it wasn’t crowded and everything seemed to be clean and tidy. I have no complaints about this establishment and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get a tattoo done! You won’t regret it!
