Clean and comfortable environment. I went for an industrial and daith piercing. Felt at ease when knowledgeable staff advised which jewelry was safe to use for new piercings (ie, snag-resiistant, round ends, stainless steel). Reminded me that once its healed, then I could safely wear anything. Woman who did the piercings spoke calmly and was fast, to minimize pain and fear. She marked my ear with ink pen first to show me location and angle of jewelry. All needles and jewelry was sealed in plastic prior to using on me. Pierce Artist wore face mask during piercing. Friendly yet professional, will definitely return for future business. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I felt completely comfortable from the moment I walked into the door. The staff was friendly, attentive and really accommodating. I wanted the balls of my piercing to be a less noticeable color than the standard silver balls and they helped me find the right color with no problem. All my questions about the do's, don'ts and maintenance of the piercing were answered without hesitation. I even received an honest opinion about weather I should get another piercing or not. (I didn't have enough time off from work to let it fully heal so I'll have to save that for next time.) The needle and jewelry were taken out of the package in front of me, and the ring, with the alternate balls, were sterilized in front of me as well . The piercing itself was less then a minute and literally painless. The only downside is that they are cash only, but that wasn't much of an inconvenience since there are at least 3 bank ATM's in 2 block radius. I am more than satisfied with my experience at Studio 316 and I will definitely be back!

Terrible i just got back from getting spider bites. First off, i noticed the lady at the front got the wrong jewlery (Ive had this done before).She got one that was rounded. Im sorry, but she had no piercings or tattoos what so ever so what experience did she have. I asked the piercer and she drew holes but i insisted that it was too far apart and i even showed her the correct jewlery i previously had.The lady who did the job was nice and assured me that this is the correct way for such reasons. I trust her because of her additude. I assumed she was doing it a different method.At last she was done. Once i was on the 7 train i realized that she didnt pierce my lower lip through. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO PUT MY STUD OR RING IN IT ONCE IT HEALS!?! Literally stole from me.

I got my bellybutton pierced here and it went really well! It was quick and painless, and the staff showed me the unopened equipment before using it so i could be sure it was sterile. they answered all my questions and made sure as was comfortable. it was also a reletively simple process getting the piercing as a minor, my mom just had to be present and sign a form and present her ID. i would definitely reccommend this shop!

AMAZING tattoo place! I recommend everyone to check it out. After deciding to finally get my first tattoo I had to go back to Tattoo 316. If you are not sure of what you really want, you can ask them to help you design one. Patricia (the owner) can assist you with the prices on depending the design. Before they start working on your tattoo they first explain you step by step as well as show the tools they will be using (all new)!. I was a little nervous at the beginning but Jilver is awesome he was very kind and patient with me! THANK YOU JILVER!. Over all everyone who works at Tattoo 316 are awesome! Definitely returning for my next art work! P.S: Please ask questions before you get a tattoo! Remember you are the one who decided to get inked.. don't be a fool!

I came to get a dermal piercing removed, which many studios will not do. Everyone was very friendly and personable and my piercer seemed knowledgeable and professional, and she got my piercing out quickly and with minimal pain. Went in for a small wave tattoo with blue and white coloring. When it healed it was not at all how I wanted. There's no white and barely any blue. I was promised complimentary touch ups for life and when I requested one they told me I had to pay the shop minimum of $50! They told me it was only free touch ups after the first month. For anyone who has tattoos, you know a month is barely enough time for a tattoo to heal properly. The only alternative they offered for the free touch up was "if you get another tattoo we would use the same needle to touch up your other tattoo" I only gave them 1 star because no stars isn't an option.

Everyone at this place was so friendly and La Pirata (the piercer) make you feel so comfortable and nice. I came 2 different times here first for my cartilage and second time for my navel piercing and they were made by her and it took her 2 seconds and if not less.
