Sarah understood what I was looking for straight away. I wanted to get a brain that was evolving which is hard to picture but with her unique style she brought it to life. She takes the time to listen and understand you and then she draws an original illustration on the spot. The studio is very calming and has a very zen vibe to it, nothing like you'll experience anywhere else. I definitely plan to get more tattoos from her in the future. The Sarah Gaugler Experience : I came across Sarah when I was researching artists who have worked with Baybayin & were unique artists. I found her on Instagram and was drawn to her work. I also preferred a female artist who I could trust and relate to. Sarah culminated all of the above. Patricia, her assistant, was very responsive and was able to find me a date relatively quickly despite Sarah’s booked schedule. From the moment you walk into the studio, behind the black unmarked door, with a simple sign that says “appointments only”, I felt welcomed. The white private studio was very chill, chandelier overhead, Buddha snow globe patiently smiling at you while you have a seat on her couch, and some music playing in the background. Sarah was amazing, she was able to tie all my ideas together to create a beautiful ohm/lotus/Baybayin script on my shoulder. I did not feel rushed at all. She took her time designing the unique piece. The energy in the room was positive, we connected, laughed, and told stories of our backgrounds. Sarah is very warm and inviting, her creativity and talent is beyond amazing... By the time she started tattooing, she was like a surgeon, she made sure to prep you and make sure the area was sterile, then she worked with utmost precision, paying attention to the minute details. The tattoo session was not rushed and she made sure I was comfortable. The setting was intimate and felt like a meditation session. She was vibing off all the positive energy in the room to channel it into the beautiful creation on my shoulder. I did not look until the piece was completely finished. The anticipation brought me back to when I was little, restless to go to sleep on Christmas Eve, nervous & giddy. When I saw the finished piece, my heart was overjoyed, just like opening presents on Christmas morning. If you are fortunate to get an appointment with Sarah at Snow Tattoo in Chelsea, I highly recommend it. You do not want to miss the Sarah Gaugler experience, surely not in this lifetime.

I was inked about 3 weeks ago and Sarah really shined as a professional and stunning artist from start to finish. She totally nailed the concept I had in mind even though I only had one photo as an example. In fact she added her own details based on the meaning behind the tattoo which surpassed my expectations, especially because she just freehand drew it on the spot. Sarah does such exquisite, detailed work, I swore that this tattoo of mine hurt less than the others. I was fully healed in about 1 week and hardly bled which was very surprising. I can't stop looking at my dragon/unicorn. I really could not recommend her enough and will have to return one day when I am inspired again. Thanks Sarah!

Upon entering the studio, I immediately felt at ease for everything is just pristine, clean and white. When it comes to designing, i think Sarah's work speaks for itself. She took the time in sketching my idea (Owl and a clock) right in front of me attending to my every input during the creation process. Talking to her as she creates, I learned that she has been tattioong for over 10 years and it shows in how smoothly she executes her every masterpiece. I could not be happier with my new tattoo! The whole process was excellent and very professional. To start, Patricia, Sarah's assistant, was very responsive and extremely polite and patient, answering all my questions before booking the appointment. The day of the tattoo was just a blast. I went from Baltimore to New York to get the tattoo done, and it was totally worthy. Sarah's studio makes you feel so confortable. I told her about my tattoo, the meaning and what I wanted and she went beyond my expectations. She is an amazing artist, and incredible tattoer. Her lines are the best. Sarah did my first tattoo, I wasn’t happy. It is just coordinates, the appearance is disappointing, it looks like it is not her piece of art. She charged me $560 for 30 mins, not even 30 mins actually. It was quick! Maybe she was tired that day and didn’t have energy to do her best. My tattoo is not even a month and now, the ink is looking color “green”. To all folks, review said she’s good but in my experience with her, it was horrible! I sent a message to her and I said, I am really not happy the way my tattoo looks like and asked her if she has any idea to get this tattoo look better. But unfortunately, she does not respond at all. NADA! To all, I would really investigate and look for tattoo artist that is willing to work with you and not all about money. Look around, there are lot of tattoo artists in your area, that won’t charge an arm and a leg. We are in NYC anyway. Sarah gaugler is very expensive.

Getting a tattoo from Sarah was one of my most memorable experiences in NYC. From the moment I entered her studio until we finished the session, I felt really at ease. What I find admirable about the process is how Sarah builds a relationship with her clients first and how she makes them comfortable before she begins her work of art. I already knew what I wanted and she incorporated everything I told her and added her own touch which I really loved. The tattoo turned out so great!!! It was so great that a lot of random people really stop and talk to me to ask about the tattoo. I first found Sarah Gauglers Instagram page @sarahgaugler, through a friend of mine. I admired her work and art from afar and followed her page for about a year before setting up my first appointment. I had a very meaningful tattoo in mind in memory of my grandmother and was looking for an artist who would not only understand its importance to me but was skillful with delicate detail. When I first set up my appointment, I was impressed with how professional her business was run, how clean and sterile the environment was and the beauty and privacy the studio provided.
