I came in with a distorted picture of what I wanted, and he was able to work with it, and made it even better than I was expecting. His lines & attention to detail are amazing. I had an overall great experience. Beautiful tattoo, polite and professional staff, great prices for NYC. Touch ups are included. This tattoo healed better than any I'd gotten elsewhere in the past. My only complaint is that my artist showed up a half hour late to my appointment without sending me any warning. Still, I'd 100% go back here again, just making sure that I don't have any time constraints on the day of the tattooing.

I went there with a good friend who has had work done there, I was completely satisfied with their customer service and cleanliness. My tattoo came out beautiful and on point. Yuki did my work he's amazing!! Highly recommend this place and will be coming back for more!!

Extremely welcoming staff and relaxed atmosphere. My tattoo was done by Paul, who was very meticulous and put you at ease. The place was spotless too. Of all the tattoo parlours in the area, I'd definitely recommend them.

I got a snowflake tattoo here and when i got home and closely examined it from all angles, it wasn't straight. Some of the lines were thicker than others. Now I have had it for six months and there are bits that need a touch up. Dont get a tattoo from the red haired girl.

So I had a pigment job done last year by Joshua. I literally just called to see if I can get it touched up and because Joshua does not work there anymore they don't honor the warranty. The girl who picked up seemed really nonchalant about me as a customer . So if you get a tattoo from there and make sure whoever does it intends to stay there because they won't even offer you an alternative to keep you as a customer.

After checking out four or five shops looking to get my first tat, I got a recommendation from Kevin King over at West 4 Tattoo to check out Moon Sheen just down the street. It turned out to be a very solid recommendation! I walked in and immediately got a good vibe from the team working that day. I was paired with Nick who was awesome! He was patient, attentive, and truly listened to what I wanted. He even modified the original design to make it more affordable for me. I couldn't have asked for a better first time experience and I couldn't be happier with the look of my new tattoo. Thanks Nick!

I went here for my first tattoo. The staff was so nice and helped you feel good during the tattoo experience. I had Anthony and he was great. Very clean shop. Took us as walk ins right away. High minimum of $100. If you are wanting a tattoo around this area I’d definitely recommend.

Moon Sheen is a terrible place run by truly bad people! Firstly, when I was there a white male artist was consistently using the N word. The artists are all rude, unprofessional and take advantage of newer clients. Do not come here - the artists do not care at all about the clients and the tattoos are below average, at a very high price! I'm sorry I ever came here. In short, it sucks. Tell your friends not to come to this awful place.

This is a small HOTSPOT. OMG these guys do GREAT WORK! I Just got a tat yesterday 6/5/14 behind my ear of a Mary Poppins silohette. Its absolutely beautiful. The tattoo artist was named Christopher. Love him
