I did a walk-in, and Tessa was extremely accommodating. She drew up a design for me that was a beautiful blend of the several designs that I presented. She was delightful to talk to and showed me several options for my shading. So far everything is healing wonderfully. I also brought a friend for her first tattoo, and Tessa worked with my friend's sketches to create a lovely commemoration tattoo. She was very patient with my friend and showed her how the pen works and did a small trial line on her before getting into it. It was a very personal experience overall.

What is there to say? This was my first tattooing experience and I honestly could not have had a better time. From the moment I walked in the door I was immediately struck by an all encompassing vibe of calm authenticity that one does not often find at the average tattoo parlor. This place wears its personality on its sleeve (pun intended) and does so in a way that is unpretentious and welcoming. The artist I worked with, Woodz, is, in my opinion, a master of his craft. My tattoo was sketched free handed directly on my arm and he instilled nothing short of complete confidence in me during the process with his seemingly effortless marker strokes. From the vibrant colors to the fluidity of the design, my first tattoo is a piece that I will admire forever and it is all because of the great work done at Magic Cobra Tattoo Society. I could not recommend this place enough and I will certainly be returning in the future.

My friends and I spontaneously decided to get tattoos in NYC. We made an appointment with Ashley (Ol' Ash) who was incredible to collaborate with. When we walked in, we weren't completely sure of the designs we wanted, but with her professional guidance, we left feeling like the whole experience went very smoothly. She was very honest, wise and fun. I' wanted a small and simple tattoo with clean straight linework (on my sternum). It wasn't an easy request but Ash totally created it how I was imagining it. I love my new ink and I highly recommended Ash. Thank you!!
