The level of art, professionalism, and comfort is unbelievable. I loved every moment I was in this shop. I can't talk enough about the people who work here: cheerful, hilarious, genuine. This shop is one of a kind and you can tell that everyone who works here enjoys their job. I've had two 8 hour sessions at this shop and I just observed every interaction the employees had with customers; every person walked out with an enormous smile on their face. I will continue going to this shop for as long as I live in the northeast. Thank you guys for being amazing.

Love this place... best tattoo shop ever! See Carlos to get a bomb as tattoo... they sometimes have foreign tattoo artist visiting and tattooing. Everyone has portfolios, so see who does whatever it is that you're looking to get. Carlos is my go to guy though.

Short version: professional, kind, and patient. Medium version: Got my nose pierced here. Pierre and his assistant were patient and kind and didn’t make me feel silly for being nervous. He made sure to get the piercing in just the right spot in my nose and talked me through each step. Would recommend!

The guy who pierced my nose didn't ask which side i wanted it on, where exactly i wanted it and didn't give any aftercare instructions. also the stud was impossible to put back in after cleaning and got infected after about a month (user error though) i like how it came out regardless and the experience was great but he was kinda unprofessional

Great service and very professional piercers! I dropped by first time to take my old piercing off (I didn’t not get this one here). The guy kindly helped me and didn’t charge! So I came the next day to because my own jewelry won’t fit. Another piercer helped me select one item and put it on. Although I didn’t get tattoos, but it seems like people here are very good at what they do. Will recommend!

Love this tattoo shop! Everyone there is so friendly, positive and welcoming. Great atmosphere, great music. Went to Carlos with a small and silly but sentimental painting my 6 yr old daughter did and wanted it turned into a tattoo. The actual painting was done in 5 minutes with a sharpie and two basic colors in watercolors and I just expected the tattoo to be a simple little thing. Carlos took my daughters painting and recreated it with such care and attention to detail. He treated it like he was recreating a priceless work of art. I knew Carlos was a great artist but I never expected anyone to treat this job with such love, care and detail. He spent an hour meticulously drawing out each individual brushstroke in her painting and hours applying layer over layer of colors. The resulting depth and detail makes it look like he actually painted it on my arm. It turned out beautiful. I didn’t want to be that weirdo that cries but I felt like my daughter, her painting, me and my resulting tattoo were treated with such honor and respect. I have many tattoos and this is hands-down my favorite. I will absolutely be back for more. Thanks Carlos!!

Nice clean place, not super expensive but I did not like my experience. I walked in and asked how much for a simple nose piercing because I didn't see listed prices and was told $40 (or something close to $40 with tax) signed a sheet and was sat down and basically sat there in awkward silence as the guy cleaned the nose ring. I tried to talk a bit so it wasn't so awkward but the guy clearly just wanted silence. I'm from MN and have that "MN nice" quality but when you're trusting someone to poke holes in your body or draw on your skin they should at least attempt to make you feel comfortable and talk?? He pierced my nose and told me how to clean it and I paid and left. Good piercing job. Horrible ring. I tried asking about what kind I should get but didn't really get helpful info and I got a hook style stud which I took out about a month and a half later to clean and couldn't hook it back in (they told me I could change it after two weeks which I read from multiple sources that you really shouldn't). Maybe it's user error but I shouldn't have to spend that long trying to put a piece of jewelry on. On top of this I went to work the next day and my friend commented my piercing saying it was cute and where I got it done/how much... I said $40 and she was shocked because when she went there asking about a nose piercing the other day they told her $50. Not sure why they would have different prices for different people (she suspected it was because she was black but ??)

Before I begin my review, I would like for the reader to be aware this is not my first tattoo and not my first time going to hustlersparlournyc. Last week I had a consultation with Pierre Lotusonyx(@lotusonyx) for a special request. I have always wanted an artist inspired tattoo and thought that given my birthday is around the corner that I should treat myself to one. Last Halloween I got Boo from Super Mario tattooed on my left arm at this salon. Given this is the go-to spot for many of my friends, I figured it was time to try them out with something simple. My request to Pierre was to render a full tattoo (images with a background...not to be confused with random shading) that merges with Boo. I made it clear that he 1. Had no time limit to draw it out. I understand it may take a week or a few. 2. Had no budget. I know that the time he needs to draw plus the time he needs to apply the tattoo would take a long time. 3. Everything was up to him. (Full Trust) Only limitations, of course, is that is was on my arm, and Boo needed to be included Pierre told me initially to come the next day. I immediately pushed back and asked him to take his time so I can get the best quality & creativity possible. He told me to come the following week. I placed a deposit and went back to work for the evening. I messaged the shop on Monday to get a sneak peek at the work completed. I got a response the next day that it wasn't ready. THIS WAS THE FIRST RED FLAG. Wednesday rolls around, and I leave work early to ensure I get to the Parlor on time. I am greeted by Pierre, who sits down to show me the work completed on a tablet. My heart drops to my stomach when he shows me a random google image that was slightly modified. Think of a few of the Super Mario characters stacked up in a pyramid. I asked what his vision behind the tattoo (knowing I explicitly asked for him not to do this) was. He told me he was going to add some shading to give it a full look. I immediately responded by asking about the background I asked for. THIS IS WHERE THINGS TOOK A TURN. It was clear he had no idea that I wanted a complete tattoo and not just random characters on my arm. To make matters worse, he had no idea how he was going to merge my current tattoo with the one he threw together in 5- 10 minutes. I carefully explained why I was highly disappointed. As I began to walk through our initial conversation, I could tell he was starting to remember. He agreed that this was a complete misunderstanding and wanted another week to finish the tattoo. He also wanted to make sure that I knew the tattoo would be $1600, it will take 10 + hours to draw (makes sense) (which I didn't care because there is no budget) and I would need to pay for the time to draw out the tattoo (which also makes sense but why couldn't he say that the first time). The issue here is my trust is completely lost, and I don't work a regular 9-5. I can't keep dropping whole afternoons to get a tattoo. The timing also sucks because I have used all of my PTO, so taking a day or two off isn't optional. After explaining the circumstance, he apologized (which I appreciate). Since there was no way forward, I asked for a refund. It was shocking how quickly he said no. DUDE you literally did nothing. I get if you drew something I didn't like (In that scenario I would pay for your time & let you keep the deposit). You found a picture on google, forgot my requirements, and tried to keep me in the shop for 2 hours explaining where everything went wrong. YOU WASTED MY TIME. If anything I should get paid. Knowing how badly you messed up the least, you can do is refund my deposit. Anyway, rant over. I donated $$ to the shop. I might as well

I got my septum pierced 3 years ago at this store. They did a great job. The lady who was doing it asked my friend who came with me, “do you want to stand behind your wife in case she feels dizzy?” At that moment I thought, “so presumptious, he is my friend?!” Anyways, we got married with that ‘friend’ so Idk what kind of foresight that lady had. She did a great job with my septum piercing tho.

This looks like a very amazing tattoo parlor! It may be. This inspired me to get a re-pierced there but after a consultation with the piercer du jour I was discouraged and told he no longer did that piercing using the jewelry I had worn for over 15 years. He wouldn't do it. I eventually found a place a few hours later with a more knowledgeable piercer. Still a badass looking place for a tattoo tho.
