5 Star service, amazing artists, really worked with me on crafting a design that incorporated my desires and their unique creativity. I felt so great to have Mike Lucena bring other artists around to look at his work, as he was creating it, on my arm. He seemed really glad to be doing color work. Very proud to wear what he created on my arm, Thanks guys!

I have gotten my first tattoo from there by Gill (pronounced Jill) and she did an amazing job. She took her time as well as made me feel comfortable with such a detailed artwork. I would advise anyone getting a tattoo to get it done there. I love the art she did, the job, and the patience she has to do a wonderful job!

My friends and I decided to get a tattoo this past Friday randomly while on vacation in NY. This place was recommended to us. This is only my second tattoo. One friend loved the person that did his she was fabulous. My other friend and I had the same person and he was TERRIBLE I was over charged considering my tattoo took literally 5 min and my friend took an 1.5 hours and was almost the same price. I was given no care instructions. He was rude to both myself and my boyfriend . He seemed uninterested and was not at all helpful. The last time I got a tattoo was 4 years ago a refresh in care would have propbly helped since now I'm going to go to a clinic to confirm that my tattoo is not infected and buy the proper care instructions. Thanks flyrite for the memory :(

Great place, welcoming atmosphere, super clean and professional. Got my tat done by Fernando Lions who's an awesome artist, he made my tattoo look a hundred times better than I could've imagined, or thought of on my own. Definitely recommend this spot.

Very cool shop that has been doing this a long, long time in the same Williamsburg spot. I made an appointment with Gill Gold for a black and grey traditional rose - I couldn't be any happier with the work she did. Shop was clean, folks were chill, and the final price matched the initial quote (which was quite reasonable). This isn't a boutique, it's not Ink Master, but it is a real down to earth old-school tattoo shop. If you're into collecting quality tattoos, then check out Gill Gold at Flyrite Tattoo.

If you're looking for great traditional tattoos Matt Howse is your man. He's done a ton of work on me and it couldn't be better! He's a straight up guy, no bs, and his style is just gorgeous.

The older guy in the glasses could’ve been more polite. I was overcharged & the tattoo is a little thrown off. It still looks good however, the guy who did my tattoo has horrible people skills. If you aren’t going to be polite to your clients who pay your bills then choose a different profession.
