This place is a hidden gem and I feel super lucky to have found it before it gets huge. This was my first tattoo and Diego was awesome - really friendly, very willing to work with me on the design, and then the ultimate product is better than I could have imagined. He's a true artist, and it was awesome to see him bring his vision into reality. The place is very clean, and it's clear they take sanitation seriously. Beyond the wonderful experience I had with Diego as my artist, everyone at the studio is fantastic. Each tattoo is a unique work of art from the hands of some unbelievably talented people. Mikhail runs a great business, and has fantastic taste both in the art he creates and the people he brings in to work in his shop.

He'll tell you what not to do, and why. From what I've seen the other artists are the same. Definitely a place to check if you're considering.

This place is great; Laura has done two tattoos for me, and Hira has done one for my girlfriend. All the artists are friendly and sociable, and they all do amazing work in a range of styles. The shop is big and clean, and it just has an all around chill vibe.

Mikhail is easily one of the best artists in the East coast - probably US in general as well - and his shop shows it. The staff he has working with him are super friendly and professional and the other artists from what I've seen are near equal to his skill as well. Shop is always super clean, although if you're getting work done in the winter I'd recommend wearing layers cause they got this door that walk in clients just kinda refuse to close properly so there's a breeze in the shop frequently. That being said, the tattoos aren't cheap by any stretch of the imagination but the quality you get is well worth it. I continue to get compliments on the work I get over a year after it's completed and slightly faded/healed which says a lot.

Since we liked them, we tried to go without an appointment, as Laura told us that they accept the Walk-ins. Siccome ci erano piaciuti, abbiamo provato ad andare senza appuntamento, siccome Laura ci ha detto che accettano i Walk-ins. Appena arrivati, ci ha accolto una ragazza molto gentile che, nonostante il mio inglese un po’ arrugginito, ha capito le nostre richieste e ci ha fatto parlare con Andrew, tatuatore ospite che era al momento quello libero. Andrew ha parlato un po’ con noi e in 15 minuti ha preparato un po’ di schizzi sul suo tablet per farci scegliere. Ha anche apportato le modifiche che gli abbiamo chiesto e via al lavoro. Prima mia moglie e poi io. Dal primo momento fino alla fine con il sorriso per la delicatezza ricevuta. Attento e preciso, ha finito i due lavori in poco più di un’ora (erano piccoli) lasciandoci con le spiegazioni finali per la cura del tatuaggio. Lo studio è accogliente, molto pulito e ti fa sentire a tua agio dall’inizio alla fine. Abbiamo sbirciato anche gli altri tatuatori e siamo rimasti sbalorditi per i loro lavori. I just got my first tattoo here, it was an amazing experience! Indira was very attentive to detail and so sweet. I had to take a break here and there and she was accomodating from the beginning. It's $$$, but for the quality and people well worth the money. Especially for something that's going to be on your body for the rest of your life.

Had a great experience from start to finish. Met up with Natashia for a consultation. The appointment was fast and straight to the point as we had already discussed a bit before hand. We looked at reference pictures together, and she explained up front when the design would be finished, how much she charges hourly and how long the tattoo was expected to take. The day of the tattoo went by smoothly as well. Took a little less than an hour after the appointment time for her to finish the design completely but I didn't mind since I wanted it to be something that she and I both liked. Throughout the appointment, she made sure I was comfortable and even got me a juice during our break midway. In all, it took 6 hours for a piece that I'm proud to have. It was my first ever tattoo and Natashia made the experience! Her work (while pricey) is detailed and exactly what I had envisioned. I would much rather pay more for a permanent piece of art on my body than less for a work I didn't love completely.

Mikhail is a visionary and exquisite in the detail and quality of his craft. His creations are beyond the ordinary tattoo. You walk around with art on your body - art that causes glances, causes strangers to stop you on the street and beg for a few more seconds to admire the beauty of your ink. As for the shop, again - not your average shop. It is so damn classy! From corner to corner it is top notch. You won't feel like you're making a poor decision. I’ve had two tattoo consultations with Mikhail canceled twice. The first time with no reason, 2 days before, then the second time, 1 hour before even though I had started driving to the city from Bedford, NY bc “he wasn’t feeling well.” So I called and asked for a consult for a neck tat and was told he’s not taking new clients till March. Why couldn’t that just be told in an email. I’m sure he was booked 2 weeks ago. So cool wasting time. I’ve been told artists aren’t taking new clients before and guess what, all I said was “thank you for telling me!”

Mikhail and I have been working together for about five years, and I’m grateful I connected with him way back when because his artwork is unparalleled and somehow still improving, which doesn’t even seem possible. It’s been amazing watching this shop grow in the past few years, and Mikhail has built a team of artists and front staff that are humble, funny, and most of all talented. I’ve seen Seba and Anthony for pieces as well, and I’m in the midst of finishing a sleeve with Mikhail. The shop is clean, quiet and without ego, and the final products speak for themselves. Couldn’t recommend all of the artists and the experience of First Class more highly!!

e been to 4 tattoo shops, and this one is honestly my least favorite, I came for 2 sessions on a sleeve I was working on with Diego. Diego is a pretty chill guy, his art is fairly unique. what sucked was the first time I did my sleeve he took multiple smoke breaks, which i was cool with, but the more he did it the longer the tattoo would go on for, and in the end I ended up paying him 150 dollars more than the agreed price because we went over an additional hour, on top of him being 35 minutes late for our appointment. The 2nd time I came in, he took 20 minutes before we met, he met with someone during the tattoo, and seemed so unmotivated to do much, possibly because he was getting over a cold, which once again I understand but it's unfair for me to pay as if you're performing your usual best, you see rather then make use of the time he just dragged on and tattooed slower than usual, so I still paid 600 for what was supposed to be 3 hours of work. Hourly does not always equate what these artist put in. On top of that some of the staff really do not feel welcoming, they just look at you and do not say anything. I appreciate the art I have which is something I will not discredit, but if you're gonna have a permanent mark on your body, you'd want to at least associate that kind of experience with cool people.

I went after looking at several feedbacks on the Web. I wanted clean, modern, cool, artistic. I was well received by the guy at the counter. He informed me that that the artist Mikhail that I was hoping to do my work, was fully booked for the comming six month. He suggested a guest artist from Russia by the name of Nelly that could help me alredy the day after. I must admit I was not really convinced, a guest artist that was free the day after? Long story short, Nelly is a fantastic artist. She worked around a worn old ancor tattoo that I had. She brought it to life and made a half sleeve that Im very very happy with. Nelly Vinteren is worth a trip to New York, also First class Tattoo is worth its name. I will be back ;) All the best Pelle

Dmitry is so amazing. I got a watercolour ox with cherry blossom from him and he smashed all my expectations. He's very patient and is extremely detailed. Will definitely get another one from him.

Laura does incredible work. I asked her to help me flush a concept out and add a painter/watercolor style and she adapted it perfectly to the concept. This is a very nice shop. The moment you walk though the door you are welcomed. My tattoo artist was Ledwin. A very nice guy and has a very good positive energy. He was very into my idea and that also made it comfortable to speak to him. He came up with a very nice design from what I told him I was looking to get. If you are worried about pricing then you should rethink about getting a tattoo. For the amount you pay for you will be a very happy customer. I will be coming back to get more work done from ledwin. I have a few more ideas that I wanna get done and he will be the guy I will go to.
