I didn't get tattooed here. But I went there and the guy on the phone was really mean and had an attuidue. Then after I drove 45mins out there, to wait 30mins. Then they told me that they don't do those kind of tattoos. When I already asked if they do those kind of tattoos on the phone, and they said yes. They were just overall rude and snobby. And they charge 200 a hour.

Willie is a mediocre artist!! Had a cover up done by him and it turned out not good at all! Had to do a little research for an artist who could fix it. Almost every Other professional artist I showed it to said the same thing...what was he thinking why did he do this, pointing out many mistakes that even me with my untrained eye could see. I trusted him too much. Do yourself a favor and go to a better artist, dont waste your money. Shop may be legit but he has a lot to learn. What I received wasn't even close to the pics that he shows on his web page and Instagram. Not even close!

Dude charged my girl $200 an hour and jacked her tattoo up HARD!! Only one day after and some spots on her skin were so over-worked, her skin was literally hanging on by a thread. DISGUSTING!!! DO NOT GO HERE. The artists charge WAY too much for the low-quality work they produce!

I came here for a cover up of a tiny inner finger tattoo that I had gotten with an ex boyfriend. I was sooo worried that I wouldn't be able to turn it into anything and I'd be stuck with this awful memory forever. I met with Willie for a consultation and he - to my surprise- told me he could basically turn it into anything. I came back and Willie worked with me on every meticulous detail, was patient, creative, genuine and an all around great dude. He turned my ugly ex tattoo into a beautiful sunflower, per my request. I have gotten many tattoos all over the city & I will NEVER go anywhere else. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!

I have been going to Brooklyn Tattoo for a lot of my tattoos and love it! Everyone is very professional and nice. The artist there are skilled at what they do so I never hesitate when someone ask me for a shop to go to I always tell them if they are in Brooklyn stop in Brooklyn Tattoo and see what they can do for you. You will get a great piece done and walk out happy. Mike(at the time) did my cover up with a Koi fish using ideas we came up with.. It came out beautifully. I later went back to him to touch up the old dragon on my shoulder then add Cherry Blossoms. Willie currently is the artist I would go to see for tattoos and he recently did my Lucky Cat and I was over the moon happy with it!

I LOVED coming here. I wanted a last minute tattoo over lunch last week (yes, I'm a nut). I checked out another place on Smith St (which sucked but I'm glad they were awful because I wouldn't have gone to Brooklyn Tattoo otherwise). From when I first walked in until I left everything was perfect. The young lady at the front desk was extremely accommodating when I told her that I was on a time crunch. I didn't realize when I first called that the person I talked to was in fact going to be my tattoo artist, Willie. Absolutely the nicest guy. Very patient when I explained to him what I wanted, and he presented me with a design almost immediately. Very gentle with the needles, and didn't seem to mind that I was so last minute at all. The space itself is really clean, bright and orderly. I was planning my next tattoo while I was getting my design. I can't wait to go back.
