If you're going to pay someone to torture you, it might as well be a delightful experience. George is a master at his craft, and his wife Yana will make you feel very welcomed while filling you with green tea and cheering you on. Couldn't ask for a better tattoo experience.

Everything about tattoo culture is better than any shop i have ever benn too. The receptionist, friendly and follows up with you before your scheduled date, and the artist Brian Wren, his work is absolutlely incredible. Gene i didnt get any work from YET but super cool guy and laid back attitude.. this place is so far from the typical dick tattoo shop attitudes. these guys are a class way above the rest. highly reccommend!!!

I've become a bit of a tattoo collector, and without a doubt Tattoo Culture is the place to do it. From Gene, the resident artist's unique style, to that of the world class guest artists that frequent the shop, you cannot go wrong! Make sure you call and ask who is coming soon and reserve your guest artist early, they book VERY early in advanced and you'll end up missing out!

I got my right arm sleeve done by George. I have been following George on social medias for some time, so I knew I would love the result. I also need to mention, that I loved the whole process and experience. Due to his reputation and popularity I was expecting the scheduling to be tough. It was actually so easy, all because he was so accommodating and helpful. He is not a talkative guy, but during the sessions he would always make sure that I was comfortable, telling me what he's about to do, asking me if I needed a break, or giving me heads-ups right before he would hit extra painful spots. I have a bit of an issue on my back and I cannot lie in one position for long time. For this George would sometimes take his time and change the whole set up (from bed to chair, or vice versa) or work in a very hard posture, just to make me comfortable. Also worth mentioning- usually with George at his studio as a manager is his wife Yana. She is such a polite and sweet person, who always makes sure that George's clients and the studio visitors are happy with the experience. Yana's helpfulness with George's calm and stable demeanor really makes them an amazing team. Again I absolutely adore the work George's done on my arm- the exact style I wanted since I was little, with amazing details and shading. When my shirt sleeve is rolled up random people always come up and ask me who the artist is or where the work was done.

Enjoyed my double session experience here. I got my tattoo from Gene a year ago. Gene was great, easy to talk to but he is a quiet soul filled with creativity. Take a look at his FB page and you will see what I mean. The store itself was clean, organized. During the time I was there, they had Loic as a guest artist (from France) and it is not uncommon for them to host some really interesting artists from around the world or the states every now and then. Will go back for number two soon ... :D

It was my first tattoo, small but very dear to me. George was very kind to me. He was polite, nice and made me feel secure in my choice, because I has some doubts. Even if a tattoo is small I could see that George is a true artist. When I will be ready for something else I will definitely come back to him. He was great as well in explaining to me all the post care.

Work completed: This was for a half sleeve, chest, and shoulder blade Koi and Lotus piece. It was completed over 5 visits, with touch ups completed along the way. Communication: Organized (using their website for initial contact), quick, and clear. Shop: Clean, private, comfortable, and located where driving in and out for an out-of-towner was easy. Experience: George is excellent. He is meticulous, accommodating, and truly cares about his work not only while you are being tattooed but also how it heals and is cared for when you leave. He is also fantastic with helping with aftercare, always available for any questions. Yana is also fantastic, providing tea and conversation during breaks and making you feel at home in the shop. The work is fantastic and is well represented by the pictures you will find on their website and Instagram; I went in with high expectations from those images and still left with George surpassing those expectations.
