I got a (first time) tattoo here today. I had gone to Black Ink just 10 blocks south, and I had left within two minutes because I was put off by the sketchy ambiance, the fact that their card machine was broken, and the fact that their artists were out to lunch (with no apparent return time). I just wasn't getting a professional vibe from them and as a first-timer, this was not what I was looking for. I had already been scared to get the tattoo so I almost decided not to do it anymore, but first wanted to try one more place. Googled a few and Art2Ink was the closet in the neighborhood. I had pretty low expectations by this point. I walked in and was greeted warmly and professionally by both the artists and the receptionist (she is an artist too! But was working more at the front desk that day and doing the consultations). I didn't have print-outs of my designs, but the receptionist quickly took care of this online and within minutes, the artist had done a sketch. The immediate impression that I got from the artist and receptionist was so favorable that there and then, I decided I'd go ahead and get the tattoo. I was made comfortable the whole time--the receptionist (her name is Sassy (sp?)) put on an interesting show for us to watch and let my companion sit in the back with me. The artist patiently sized and resized the outline, repositioned, and let my friend take pictures until it was exactly what I wanted. He was calming and professional and honestly, the pain was minimal. My friend who came with me had had his own tattoos done elsewhere and was so impressed by the skill--no bleeding, etc. He told us why-- he has learned about the anatomy of skin and how to do it just right. I had been so worried about it and it turned out to be nothing. I was done within 25 minutes or so and the result is beautiful! Price was also reasonable--$150 for 2 small tattoos (and no consultation fee). I would definitely come here again and highly recommend them. They seem to be truly committed to good customer service and quality work :) Also their artists don't just do tattoos, they do paintings etc and are so passionate about art. My tattoos were just symbols but I follow the artist who did it on Instagram now, and his work is incredible! He can tattoo a picture of yourself and it looks just like the original photo. I'm almost embarrassed to have had him do my simple tattoos lol.

The tattoo by skull was great.But for a person of a certain age ,i wouldn't recommend this location.They are very young and thats what they cater too.so i wont be recommending my freinds here.business is about money and they are messing up thier money crussing,playing around.if you are under 30 this place is perfect for you.i will get another tattoo by skull but not there.It's a shame the tattoo artist are very talented all of them.There support staff messes it up for them.

Unprofessional. Doesn’t answer messages in regards to appointments. Rude and unsettling. Will never use their services again. Came to get a Tattoo and sat for a hour to be told unable to do it. The staff is the problem easily distracted with drinking or smoking. If you are looking for professionalism and respect, this is not the place.

I followed naeem for years on instagram. Thought he was a dope artist. Until he did a piece on me. He charged me $400.00. In turn he butchered my thigh. He went in too deep on so may places. It looks horrific. Im extremely disappointed. The offer was made to let him go over it once it heals. Why? He did it EXTREMELY WRONG the first time.
