I went in on a whim and came out happier than I even expected to! Rob did an AMAZING custom Pennywise tattoo for me and made it his own! I will definitely be back for more ink in the future! I came from out of town but will be back every 3 momths for a new piece! Everyone is nice in the shop and it was clean! What more can you ask for?!

I came here for my first tattoo - a starfish anchor on my foot. My tattoo artist was very nice and patient with me. We went through several designs before I settled on one. I also got a discount since it was for my birthday. Ask for Nick!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Tried to support local and went into this store for my 1st Vapor pen. Saleslady was really nice and we purchased a pen that retails for $79.95 but was charged $135!! Initial price when asked was $150. We were given a "deal" and $15 was taken off. BUYERS BEWARE! AVOID THIS STORE. EVERYTHING IS DOUBLE THE PRICE!! PRICE GOUGING AT IT'S BEST They lost me for life. I'll just sit back and wait for the store to be pushed out by big box retailers and take my business on line. So Sad you can't trust anyone these days!

This place is super overpriced. Came in wanted to get a tattoo done here so I asked for a price quote and the price was above average. The female tattoo artist I asked was a sarcastic know-it-all jerk, who gave me the sudden urge to slap her sarcastic sense of humor straight. I know tattoos are expensive, but their price was ridiculous. I ended up going somewhere else, where the artist were more friendly and the price was about right for the tattoo. I would NEVER recommend this place.

Walked in with my best friend to get my tongue pierced and instead of being asked if i needed help the guy at the main desk walked passed me and outside like i wasn't standing there for 5 mins. When he finally does ask me i asked the price he tells me 35 and when i get to the piercer he tells me 45 . I ended up paying 35 but the people could stand to be a bit more synchronized with pricing. Other then that the piercer did a good job and was very clean and sanitized. Would go back to get more piercings since they were the cheapest on the block and did a good job. Tongue healed up fine and im happy with it .

Paid 200 entire dollars for the worst tattoo ive ever seen, person had no artistic skill or ability whatsoever. I thought this place seemed very professional but I was wrong. It was supposed to be a simple daisy chain on my ankle, I was told to pay first and hassled alot about the price, guy wouldnt accept 180 so i went to the bank and got 20 dollars more yet this mexican guy didnt make a single exact daisy or flower on my ankle at all and some other tattoo artist was being very distracting the whole time probably chatting with me so i wouldnt notice but they did a horrible job. $200 i paid and they couldnt even give me a decent simple tattoo. This person had litterally no artistic skill at all wich is not exeptable considering youd expect to be able to get a good tattoo in nyc. Apparently they will hire anyone. Dont get your hopes up.

Great Price for a piercing but my friend and i who got matching piercings can not get their jewelry out. we got them about a month ago and i have to go to another piercer to have them take it out just so i can change the earring.

I've been getting tattooed for nearly 15 years and am pretty covered at this point. Though I still hate going to most tattoo shops. Addiction is different. They are a laid back non pretentious shop. I've been back to get tattooed by Sock four times and have had a great experience each time. I even trusted them with my first "job stopper" hand tattoo, which is probably my favorite out of my nearly 50 tattoos. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve been going to this shop for many years. I’ve had numerous ear piercings done - lobe, cartilage, daith, etc. My daughter has had similar plus a tattoo. The shop is always immaculately clean, their tools are sterile. I’ve never had any issues with after care healing. If you follow their instructions, your healing will go well. All the guys who work here are experienced, pleasant and professional. I’d previously been to other shops in the area with less than stellar results. Once I found Addiction, I stuck with them and I’m glad I did.

Absolutely worst experience at a tattoo parlor. I asked the man at the front desk what the minimum was and he started screaming and throwing insults at my friend and I for not knowing. I do not recommend coming here, there’s a lot better tattoo parlors on the same block.

Been here twice already. Once to get my ears gauged this past spring and then for a tattoo a couple of weeks ago. It healed perfectly and the artist did an amazing job. Very professional and clean shop. Pretty fair prices too for a touristy area. I'd totally get more work done here.

Great place! I went there to get a nostril piercing and everything went smoothly. Rob was very gentle, he even dried my tears :-). It didn't hurt at all, it was just a reflex :-). Highly recommend if you want to get a piercing. Place is clean and people are super nice! Thank you :-)

I used to go here for my 60 body piercings and 22 inks back in the day in the early 2000's. Great place, always brought my own drawings and used the same artist whom was/is awesome. I highly recommend them. They sell all sorts of jewelry and glassware/pipes, bongs.

First let me share that I am born and raised in LES! I moved recently and came back to NYC for the weekend. I stopped at Addiction just to look around and check out the art. Spoke with Jon Brady, the nicest guy ever! We discussed the tattoo I wanted to get done, I showed him a reference I had and he truly made it his own for me. The shop itself is very well maintained, nice and clean. All needles were brand new and sealed, he opened everything up in front of me and walked me through his process. I have 6 tattoos already and am familiar, but I appreciated that he took the time to go over it with me. I felt totally as ease. I had a chance to chat with other staff there and they were all very nice and friendly. Would definitely go back and I highly recommend seeing Jon Brady :)

Avoid this place at all costs or be ready to be treated like a dumb tourist. Be ready to pay 3 times the prices for piece of crap products. Lady sells me this crappy atomizer for 45.00 dollars (online price 13.00 with free shipping) and also I get this sad story that what I had come to buy was out of stock on the supplier, yet when I check the website its available. Bunch of excuses and lies from this place, they keep loosing clients for their lack of integrity and self respect.

Highly recommend choosing Sock as your artist here. I have been tattooed by quite a few tattooers in New York and he is by far the most gentle, caring, focused, professional, and artistic. I felt super comfortable in his presence and had a great experience. He gave me a beautiful tattoo and I love it. Whether you are looking for an american traditional styled tattoo or a simple black work tattoo you will not be disappointed. I will definitely be back to see him for many more.

I went to this place twice within a month. Once was to get my ear cartilage pierced by a guy named Mykeal or whatever. He made remarks as to say my piercing was nothing, like my piercing was below him. Him knowing it was my first time and that I was nervous he should have come at me very differently. The second time I went was due to my back ball falling out while in the shower. I went back to see if I could get another ball or something. The guy I spoke to was very nasty to me. Speaking to me with an attitude. I will not be going back to the place ever.

went with my mom and the host took us in and had us waiting then left and didnt tell any of the artist we needed help waited for almost a hour till a tattoo artist came up to us and helped us he was really nice and made me feel comfortable as this was my first tattoo only thing was it was over priced paid 100 for some lettering on my wrist but other then the host and price it was a really great experience and if i go back it will be cause of the artist

Unprofessional, over-priced, and terrible service. I went there with my wife to buy a new glass piece and we stood there for a good 10 minutes while the girl at the front desk was casually chatting with a friend on the phone. I had to approach her in order to be assisted. In the beginning she was alright but as we asked about prices and different pieces she began acting annoyed and didn't even try to hide it. She fed us some BS about how the pieces are of high quality. My wife really wanted the piece so I caved in and payed $50. Turns out it goes for $10-15 online. I will NEVER go back to this place, not even as a last resort. And for the people who are wanting to get a tattoo at this shop...unless you get something small that any novice with a tattoo gun can do, DON'T BOTHER. The saying goes, "you get what you pay for", a cheap tattoo will ensure you end up with permanent crap on your body. I would give this place no stars but I had to rate it.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! MY TATTOO WAS INFECTED THE MINUTE HE FINISHED!! Got Tattooed By some dude called SOCKS which would be fitting for him being that his work needs to be covered by like socks would cover your feet. I had the most terrible 5 minute tattooing experience. I have 10 other tattoos on all different spots of my body, this was the most simplest tattoo I have ever got but the most painful, for no good reason. He applied so much pressure when tattooing me I literally felt as in my arm was splitting open! They are only getting 1 star from me only because I have to pick one to make this post. If it were for me he would get a negative 10!! So disgusted and disappointed. This was one of my most meaningful tattoos to date. The picture posted is 5 days later, disgusting.!
