They were amazing! They thoroughly explained my choices then it came to the jewelry. My piercer, sadly I couldn't catch his name, he work effectively and payed close attention to the area (my lobe) and carrfully marked where it should go. He worked with me on the minor adjustment to his original placement. It was quick and painless! He made me feel comfortable and kept up with conversation. Super clean space, as well as the front of the shop, everything was clean, well lit and well labled. 10/10 would reccomend and go again. Oh and the pricing? Its a little on the expensive side HOWEVER you'd be glad you went that route, belive me lol. Thank you again 6 Skulls Tattoo I absolutely love the additional lobe piercing, it deffinetly tied together the three I originally had!!

My tattoo artist was Ed. If you ever get the chance to get a tattoo in NYC, you’ll be hard pressed to find an artist as dedicated to his clients as Ed is. My skin turned out to be reactive to certain compositions in the coloured ink, but Ed gave me as many touch ups as I needed while being super kind and professional the whole time. I went back 3 times over the course of my summer, and I can honestly say that Ed and the 6 Skulls team contributed to my experience of New York so much. I wish him nothing but the best, make sure to check out his skill @inked.dot on Instagram. He’s seriously talented.

Great experience, I got my nose pierced. I've attempted this 3 times with different establishments and it just wouldn't heal properly or hurt too much to keep the piercing. Now, it was done perfectly, was instructed on the proper cleaning process with correct products to be used. Bacchus the gentleman who did my piercing was great, very funny and the greatest customer service I have ever recieved. While the place is small, the atmosphere of it wonderful. Nice and clean. Thinking of going back for a new tattoo.

I never felt rushed and he walked me through everything. I asked questions about it all and he never hesitated to have an answer. This is about two weeks late but I would just love to say how amazing the staff were. They were accommodating, personable and overall pretty professional group of men. Came to NYC with my girl's for a getaway weekend. Found this gem of a shop in the Village and had a top notch experience. We had an appointment schedule for 11 our first day... of course we failed at managing ourselves through MTA and arrived probably 1.5hrs late. They were very patient with our group! Xavier did my first tattoo (an amazing watercolor!) then we came back 2 days later and I had Edson do a small pineapple gem, again it's perfect! 1 also got a new piercing (I failed to get the piercer's name but he was fantastic) Edson had the pleasure of putting up with all of us the most and made sure it was a great experience. We would definitely visit again (we live 12hrs away).. such a great experience we visited twice in our 5 days in NY. Thank you to all of you at the shop. You're a great bunch and we thank you for putting up with our group!! <3

I visited 6 Skulls recently for 2 piercings in my ear lobs and 1 tragus piercing. My mother also received 2 ear lob piercings. A very spontaneous decision and we were walk in clients. Our artist was Tre and he was pretty awesome! Very informed and educated us along the way. I'd for sure return for more work and would very much recommend this shop and specifically Tre if you're interested in getting some piercing work done.

Super cool spot and a really great staff! My friend and I were in NY for a little under a week and were looking to get some work done. So many places were super expensive and unreasonable. We found 6 Skulls and met Ed and he gave my friend a really great price for the tattoo he was wanting. He’d decided on a rose tattoo with a stem and medium shading on his forearm. I got a septum piercing with Ace. My piercing went super smoothly, but it was sooooo super painful. I totally cried, and not because the vein is connected to your eyes! It really hurt lol but I’m super obsessed with it and I get compliments everyday! The pain lasts about 20 seconds. He was very thorough on the upkeep as well. Also, I recommend buying their antibacterial lotion/cleanser and sea salt mist. They work amazingly. My friends tattoo turned out incredible! Eds got 25 years of experience and he specializes in monochromatic work. Seriously his skill is unmatched and his shading was next level. I’m a Makeup Artist so I always pay lots of attention to detail and how meticulous an Artist is and he’s impecable. Ed made sure my friend was comfortable the whole time and the process was flawless. My friends super obsessed with his tattoo! Ed’s got a really good sense of humor and he’s got really good energy. Defintelyyyyyy book with him! We both totally recommend this place! 10/10!!!!!!

Eddy is one of the most talented and kindest people I have ever met! I recently got my first tattoo and it could not have came out better. He took the time to make sure every item was clean and precisely set up. When drawing out my tattoo, he always made sure that I liked everything before he continued. Eddy went above and beyond with the detail and made the lighthouse even better than I had hoped for! He really cared about my opinion and used that to give me the best artwork possible. The tattoo at any place else would have cost me a fortune but he really gave me an incredible price. If I am to get another tattoo in the future, I am going back to Eddy! I came here to get a double helix piercing and l would not recommend anyone to get piercings from the lady with short hair and a lot of tattoos. I've gotten multiple cartridge and ear piercings, and none of them have never hurt more than a wince, some didn't even hurt, and none have bled. During the process of getting my ears pierced, the lady had to redraw the dots for where to pierce it 3 times. After that, she proceeded to pierce it from the back, where the dots were not visible. The piercings are not aligned with the dots at all: the front of the piercing was semi-aligned with the dots, but the back is completely crooked and not straight with the front. After the first piercing, my ear started bleeding and I asked her why it hurt so much when my other piercings have not. She started blaming me and saying I should not have gotten two piercings at once and proceeded to pierce the second hole when l was pulling away in visible pain. After the piercings were done, there was blood all over my shirt and two napkins and the piercer try to not acknowledge it. My ear was swollen and red immediately after the piercing, but now it is purple and looked bruised.

Randomly pierced my nose on Saturday morning and I was nervous as hell.. everyone was friendly and explained the process. Clean shop, nice jewelry selection. Trey pierced my nose, who is super cool by the way my friend and I hammered him with girl talk as he sanitized and prepared for my piercing. Just before the minor poke he told me how to breathe to prepare for it. This is definitely an awesome atmosphere.. reasonably priced. The ring was very small thank God I definitely didnt want something huge, he helped me pick a neutral color ring suitable for work. I 10/10 recommend this place! I got my tattoo done by Xavier and it barely hurts. If your style is water color, I really recommend his designs. There is many tattoo shops around the area but this one gives the most reasonable price with great designs. The staffs there are very welcoming and the workplace is very clean. I was able to receive one to one consultation with the Xavier and he guided me through my designs. I definitely would come back for more tattoos in the future and would recommend anyone who wants one.

Ed gave me my first tattoo today, and he was fantastic! I was given 3 possible sizes and he could tell by my face that I wasn’t satisfied with any, so he presented others until I found what I liked. 1 star for the cleanliness of the establishment and for how comfortable my piercer made me. But I got my tongue pierced on the the 23rd (Sunday) and had to take it out the 25th (Tuesday). My bar wasn't long enough for the swelling and was too tight for my tongue. Also it was too far back, I had no room to move it around. I had to go somewhere else to get it looked at and it wasn't looking too good. So I just opted to take it out. My advice for tongue piercings, make sure they use clamps. My guy insisted he didn't need them, but ask for them anyway.

My roommates and I originally were going to go to a different place to get our ears pierced but stumbled across 6 skulls, we were immediately greeted by a welcoming face. Once the piercing artist, Bacchus came out from helping another costumer he was extremely helpful and polite. He made me feel very comfortable and I wasn’t nervous at all which normally I get very nervous. He walked me through what he was doing. He clearly has been at this for a long time and knows exactly what he was doing. I got an industrial bar which is two piercings technically, and neither of them hurt. I am so glad we ended up going to 6 skulls instead of the other place we were going to go to. I highly recommend, first time piercing or not. The tattoo artists were also very friendly and nice as well. Highly highly recommend! :)

Hello people Me , my sister an cousin wanted to get piercings to celebrate my sister one year anniversary of being cancer free. So we walked into 6 skulls tattoo an piercing. My sister got her nose , I got my nipples , my cousin did her belly button. We had a very good experience at this shop its clean. And our piercing guy was very professional. I did my nipples an I had alot of questions an I was nervous an he put me to ease and everything went smooth.. if u wanna get pierced I recommend this place we didnt make a reservation we just walked in there was a lil wait .. but worth it ... our piercer was name was BACCHUS .... @bodymodbae. ❤

I was in New York for a week and I really wanted to get some work done while I was in the area. I had an idea of what I wanted, but other tattoo shops in the area wanted around $1,500. I walked into 6 Skull and met Ed, who gave me a reasonable price for my tattoo. Ed was a super chill guy and has over 20+ years of experience. His specialty is monochromatic tattoos which is exactly what I wanted, but I’m pretty sure he can do colored tattoos just as well. We waited a little longer than expected to be seen, but Ed made up for it by making the piece bigger at no extra cost. Getting the tattoo went as smooth as possible. Ed has a light touch and he makes sure you’re comfortable during the whole process. I would definitely recommend 6 skill if you’re in New York and want some fresh ink.

Bacchus is the man to see. When he did my piercing, he was super nice and friendly, patient, and explained everything to me really well. I ended up not buying the cleaning product he recommended and used something my friend had recommended and boy was that a mistake!!! My piercing got infected and I came back to him immediately and he cleaned it out for me, put in a much better feeling piercing, and practically saved my ear. He’s super chill, super nice, and I probably wouldn’t want anyone other than him touching my ears to give me a piercing. He really knows his stuff about ear care too so I wouldn’t be afraid to ask him questions!!

I have 14 piercings, and 11/14 are from the guys here! I can truthfully say that you are in THE BEST HANDS OF NYC in terms of piercings! They are so beyond gentle, and will guide you through the whole process, making everything so comfortable. They also have a wide selection of jewelry which ranges from $-$$$$ (which is great if you're looking to start off with simple jewelry, and them upgrade to more upscale jewelry). They are a very clean store, and always go above and beyond to make their clients happy. Additionally, I just got a tattoo today done by Ed, and it was a small, dainty rose (in black), done with a single needle. Everything turned out beautiful, and he was very gentle with everything. I recommend this store to everyone. They are experts at what they do, and they perform with a lot of passion.

I walked in with my auntie and was greeted right away, which is KEY costumer service. I dont wanna shame the whole shop they have great artists like Xavier, personally been tattooed by him. Due to schedule issues I couldn't get tattooed by but I did by another artist and the lack of interest towards my ideas and professionalism I got a less than satisfactory tattoo here. The artist didnt even bother to look comprise with me and just said " this is the system we use here and I cant find the font you want" I simply wanted roman numerals tattooed on my forearm. I found the found the font myself on his tablet and the finish work was horrible. If u wanna get a great tattoo at 6 skulls, ask for Xavier.
