The owner chuck is not professional at all. I paid $300 for 4 hours ahead of time and he flaked out 3 times trying to avoid me. Horrible work that he didn't want to fix. Lame

The artist, Charles Palmer is extremely unprofessional. When I had gone in to get tattooed he made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He would text me inappropriate things and would suggest sexual favors in order to get a "better deal" on my tattoo. It was my first tattoo so I didn't enjoy my experience the slightest bit. I had recently seen that he sent pictures of his genitals to another girl on Facebook. If Iron Anchor Tattoo condones this employees disgusting behavior I would not recommend getting tattoos from their establishment. Again, this behavior is unacceptable.

Seldom give 5 stars, but the outside building facade of the Iron Anchor Tattoo Parlour just inspires creativity...i can only imagine the tattoo artists draw from this to create some amazing art and lasting impressions tatted on your skin. Across from UNM Campus, limited free parking, but plenty of street metered parking and paid lots, handicap accessible, near bus stops and nearby bicycle racks to lock up your bike.

Came in from out of town with a coworker. Both of us got work done immediately without an appointment time. My artist didn’t start until I was 100% satisfied with what was being done. Great place all around. Everyone in there talks to you as if they’ve known you your whole life. It’s hard to find a shop as awesome as this place.

This shop is giving the rest of us a bad name. You can't cheat the locals, or be racist to hispanic girls, people of Albuquerque are good people and deserve better. Judging by the reviews and your shops responses is clear that you only treat half the people good. I wonder what half that is? Anyway i give you 2 stars because im sure you can do better. However the BBB, Better Business Bureau gave you a D+ No bueno...

I went there for their opening and they were doing $20 2X2 tattoos. My artist, and I wish I could remember his name, gave me a crooked uneven HORRIBLE tiara on my ankle. Not to mention after he was done I heard him ask his friend if they wanted to "take another shot." Now I have to get this awful thing covered up because I am so embarrassed by this disaster of a tattoo on my ankle.
