Hands down my favorite shop in town. I've got a sleeve, another half sleeve, my calf, hip, and knee done here. My fiance also has a half sleeve from here. I'm sure there are other good spots but this is the only place in town I recommend!

I was interested in getting a tattoo 10 years ago but was very skeptical about getting one based on it being permanent. I spent well over 2 years debating on it due to the uncertainty of a great tattoo artist! I’m very picky and I guess I would say the best is almost good enough! I met Bedo through my hairdresser and I immediately set up a consultation. I was completely stuck on how beautiful and clean the shop was. Bedo spent time talking with me and gathering detailed information on exactly what I was interested in getting. He came up with the perfect one of a kind sketch and I immediately scheduled my appointment! I have continued to see Bedo and will never go anywhere else due to him being better then the best! I highly recommend Gallo Negro to anyone!

I have gotten tattooed at many shops around Albuquerque, but my experience at Gallo Negro was hands down the best yet! Do not see myself straying away from this shop, each session has been a blast so far! Tattooed by the shop owner (Bedo), I was incredibly comfortable with him and appreciated the professionalism he offers compared to other shops around town. Other Albuquerque shops have left me with unprepared artists, late or cancelled appointments, poorly done work for cheap, but not here! My appointments were timely, all shop staff was friendly and welcoming, and the artwork is outstanding. I receive compliments and inquiries daily on who and where to get such amazing work, Gallo Negro is the place to go!!

My favorite place in town! I got a small New Mexico outline from the owner, Bedo, on my heel. I couldn’t have been more happy with the results, the line work is so small and delicate, and exactly want I wanted. Amazing people, amazing work! Jazzy was so sweet! We had memorial tattoos for my brother who recently passed. She was so empathetic. She had so much patience while we changed our ideas. She took her time and made sure we were happy with everything. She also has so much attention to detail. This is my third tattoo and by far my best experience. The shading is amazing and the letters are so clean! I love showing off my tattoo!

I came along with my wife when she got a tattoo from Jazzy last week. Didn't actually get one myself, but got a good experience of the shop. This is a top notch establishment and Jazzy was absolutely fantastic! Very professional and friendly! The shop was super clean and tidy. Everything was sanitized and wrapped in fresh saran wrap before she started. My wife got a really simple, small tattoo. But Jazzy's line work was superb! Very clean and sharp. I'll make the trek down to ABQ from CO to see her when I decide to get one.

Jazzy did my first tattoo ever. I was extremely nervous and she reassured me that I'd be fine with her calm demeanor. Her work was flawless (I got a Sun with very little detail). Even though my piece was very small and simple, she treated me with respect and did a beautiful job. I'll be back to see her for my next piece for sure! The other artist was not there at the time, but the shop was clean and both work areas were tidy.
