Wonderful staff, good location, always super helpful and accommodating. Friday the 13th deals are a must, vouchers can be purchased a week in advance and are good for the rest of the month after. Walk-ins are welcome. Very professional artists that respect their art, take them seriously. They'll provide all the information and care you need for your first, second, or tenth time. This is the place to be for your $20 Zia tat.

Very nice and welcoming but honestly not happy with my tattoo, I got a zia and one set of lines is not centered!! :’( Also felt like I was rushed into settling for a placement that I wasn’t completely happy with (mainly my fault for allowing it ig) but pat was basically trying to justify his placement rather than just listening to what I wanted. Again I should have just been more adamant about what I wanted but still I think the artist should make the client feel comfortable taking their time to decide what goes on their body for life!

Got my first tattoo here. Jessie was my artist and he was really good. They have music playing so you can be entertained while sitting there for an hour or longer. Great people. Cozy place. Going back this weekend to get my second piece. Can't wait.

I hate to give such a low rating. Alex did a fantastic job. He knew exactly what I was wanting and nailed the design. Free hand! However, we won't be back to the shop because Nick was extremely rude and treated our daughter with unbelievable disrespect. Then charged $100 because she decided not to go forward after he laid the design out on her arm. It was way bigger than she asked for, but that's not why she backed out. It was because he was condescending and loud. She wasn't comfortable with his attitude. We've spent about a grand there over the last year. Even got grandma a tattoo and we're planning on spending a lot more. We had seven people there, a pocket full of cash and walked out. A hundred dollars less, no tattoos and looking for a new place. Which sucks for the other artists there, Jesse, Pat and Alex, all of which are really cool.

My boyfriend and I went for Friday the 13th tattoos. Alfredo was extremely rude and we were told that he was in a bad mood. He placed the tattoo in the wrong spot and did not give my boyfriend a chance to say it was in the wrong spot or move it. He did not give him any aftercare instructions and didn’t even put any cream/ointment on it after, only a paper towel. I got my tattoo from Nick who was nice enough but trash talked the previous woman he tattooed (and made cry) the entire time to me and other artists. I got a simple small flower which came out looking like the artist got tired and just started scribbling half of the petals. I understand that they are rushed on this day but they were all very unprofessional and it was very disorganized. We won’t be going back.

Called about the $20 tattoos for the weekend I was informed they were not accepting any walk ins and wastold I could purchase a voucher that could be used sometime in the next two weeks I drove accross town (took maybe 20 min at most) to purchase several vouchers for me and my friends and was informed that they had sold out. I explained that I called and was told their were vouchers still available. The guy at the counter didnt seem to care and told me he couldn't do anything. If you are low or sold out inform your customers before they take time out of their day. They have lost 3 potential customers based on this terrible customer service. Make sure whoever is answering the phone is providing accurate information. this was the worst experience I have had and the fact no one seemed to care I was given wrong information and made no attempt to fix it was appalling.

DONT COME HERE. They didnt ID me or even ask me to sign any papers which should have been my first warning. Not only did the tattoo come out terrible but HE CUT ME OPEN. Not even like a little cut but but a good 1-2 inch cut which left me with an ugly slug looking scar that has no ink. After a few months of healing I went to a PROFESSIONAL at Mudscuppers who actually thought it was an at home tattoo fail and he fixed it up wonderfully, unfortunately I'll always have that ugly scar from the artist at this shop

I came here about a year ago and then again this year. Last year was a great experience, and again my own experience this year was good-- Jesse does wonderful art and has been very engaging and friendly with me both times, so much so that I recommended my grandmother to him this year as she got her first beautiful tattoo by him. My low rating is due to the treatment my sister received by Nick. He was condescending to her the moment she began engaging with him, and gave off the air of not even wanting to be there. He argued with her and made her feel bad for no reason, and she eventually started crying and backed out of her tattoo after Nick scrawled a design on her arm in the marker. He demanded payment for laying out the ink on the table, which we of course paid out the $100 for... though I should stress, all that had been done that trip was my sister being lectured and drawn on. We had come in with a party of 7 and made plans for additional tattoos there, cash in hand, and were so put off by Nicks treatment that we will not be back. tl;dr Jesse and my step-dads tattoo artist Alex: 5 stars ***** Nick and his poor attitude towards my sister: X no thank you.

Best experience ever! I'm visiting from out of state and had my heart set on getting a tattoo. Being from Austin I'm used to walking into just about any tattoo shop and getting in right away. Not the case here in New Mexico. I looked up shops in the areas I would be visiting about 2 weeks before coming into town and set up an appointment with another shop. Sadly that didn't pan out and I was left thinking I might not be able to get my tattoo. My last night in New Mexico I was in Santa Fe and decided to try to find a shop that might be open late. Nothing, no luck. Since I was actually staying in Albuquerque, I decided to try looking up shops there. Albuquerque Ink Tattoo was the only place that seemed to still be open, so I took a chance and called. Bobby answered and said that they close at 9pm (Google states they're open until 11:30pm) but that there were some artists working late so he would check to see if they could get me in. Less than 5 mins later he calls me back and says that he has someone available to get me in. I explained that I couldn't make it until 9:30pm and he said that was fine. I show up and explain to Jesse that I spoke to Bobby about an hour earlier. Jesse nodded and asked me what I wanted to get done. He was very friendly and professional and got to work right away. Of course, I love my tattoo! Thank you guys for going above and beyond! This is the absolute best customer service I've ever experienced! Thank you so much!

Went for a Friday the 13th flash tattoo. They had a lot of flash to choose from, and lots of seating for waiting. Given how packed they were, my friends and I were seen pretty quickly. Clean space, great artists, spacious booths. Artist I got (Bobby) sat me down quickly, set up, and got right to tattooing. Good conversation, great flash. Tattoo was done super quick, barely hurt, and looks amazing. I'll definitely be back.

If you go don’t let Alfredo or nick touch you. My girlfriend and I went on Friday the 13th. My artist was Alfredo, he said probably two words to me the entire time and when he did he was obviously not in the mood to be working. He gave me no time to adjust the placing and was completely unprofessional. My girlfriends artist was Nick. He made the previous customer cry because she objected her placement, his response: “I can’t do this all day are you gonna get tatted or leave.” Then proceeded to trash talk the woman the entire time he worked on my girlfriend. He rushed through her tattoo and it came out looking like a fourth graders doodle.

I would definitely recommend this store. The prices are very reasonable and competitive. The store was very clean and had a relaxing environment.
