they often do $20 piercing specials, and you get what you pay for. asked for a septum piercing, staff was unprofessional. at first they tried charging me more. The piercer told me to sit on the side of the chair instead of sitting back comfortably. She was very rude, did my piercing VERY crooked and then blamed it on me for “moving”. She didn’t seem to know what she was doing at all and didn’t offer any sort of solution to the problem, didn’t tell me what size the jewelry was and didn’t give me any instructions on how to take care of it. Don’t go here, it’s better to pay more for something like this at a professional shop.

I’ve gotten my nose, septum, and belly button pierced at Jersey ink and they all healed perfectly fine. Every time I come in I’m immediately taken care of. The employees are very chill. And no other shop has prices like them!! I paid $25 for my septum while other shops asked for $60!! I have no knowledge on their tattoos but girl if you want a piercing done correctly for the low, they got you.

First off the communication between the two parties is terrible. They are terrible on making appointments. I have been talking to them for week to conclude my appointment at 2 on a Saturday. I get there and they had someone getting ready to get tatted. Second they didnt give me my money back even though it was 100% their fault . Thirdly they didn't even measure my arm and I told them I wanted certain size and he said he would change the size on my arm and not even the stencil. I highly recommend the other jersey ink in Harrison, because these people are terrible in communication and I wouldn't trust any ink on me from them. Terrible experience.

I visited this shop 03-13-18 to buy some tapers to stretch my ear and was sold some wood tapers that i found out on YouTube is not recommended because they cause infection..returned backed the next day for a exchange and was told they can't exchange them because they don't know if i used them..they was still and the package..so i asked to speak to the manager and was told"he going to tell you the same thing"so i waved at the manager and he just sat there and ignored me..ask yourself is that professional?they should have new that that wood taper was not the right one,should have been stainless steel..just took my money..please think twice before you go to this place..YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

I'm giving 3 starts because they're SUPER friendly. I went there on April 22 and got a tongue piercing as a birthday present be for I went on Vacation. On the bus not even 24 hours after the piercing was done the ball fell off the jewelry and I swallowed it. That was the end of my tongue piercing. Super painful. Swelled really bad. Dealt with that really well for the jewelry to fall off. Super irritating.

went to get a tattoo and noticed there was a new guy working there and the owner or manager (fat Hispanic guy) was in his face, practically shaming the kid in front of customers for getting some prices and numbers wrong. They seemed to lack jewelry as well. The artists were are great and friendly but the owner/manager just seems like a really douchebag

I went and got my industrial done and my girlfriend got her nose pierced. Within 24 hours her ring fell out and since we were over 30 min away we went to our local parlor. Even though over priced at home, they knew what they were talking about. The piercer there had told me that my piercing was 1/8th off and the bar was arrgivating the tissue on my ear. Within the 24hrs it was already red and he said it would blow up like a balloon from all the swelling this piercing will cause. I do not recommend and advise any further customers to ask before they’re pierced for all the information they need to know about their piercing and their piercer.

The first piercing I got there was my nose. The ring was too small so I had to get a longer ring so it wouldn’t sink into my nose. That was taking care of. Second piercing was the madonna one and I didn’t have any issues with that one. The last piercing was what pissed me off. I got both cheeks pierced and the right one was healing okay “I thought” but the left one not at all. The ball on the inside began to sink into the skin about 4 days later. I went to the shop to explain what happened and Oscar told me to take it out and let it heal then get it re pierced. Before that I asked him if he could just change the bar to a longer one and he said no because it’s already into the skin. I couldn’t understand that for the life of me. If it were sinking into the skin you should switch it for a longer piece to give the bar room for swelling. He still said no! That pissed me off because I believe “Papi” just put the damn ball on too tight and that’s why it began to sink. Oscar then said once it heals to come back and I can get it done again for 15.00, okay not bad. But every time I called to see if “papi” was down there to re do it he was never there. What a coincidence

If there was an option for zero stars, I would’ve picked it. I had gotten two tattoos awhile ago. One was done upside, after I showed him how to put it on. The other one, was done very amateurishly with poor ink and the hearts on the design were dots. After a month, the colors faded. I had to get it a redo at another shop.

Kimberly Ann, you came one of the busiest days of the year...FRIDAY THE 13TH. no forms were given until the person was up next. Plenty of our clients waited just as long. The people who came in had been there before your arrival and probably stepped out to get something to drink, etc. No forms were given to anyone until they were up next. Also the tattoo u wanted was way too tiny for the detail u wanted along with the placement...both of my female artists explain that to you multiple times. In your benefit next time you should arrive earlier with a larger picture/placement, as everyone knows that day is first come first serve....Thank you for your review.

Came in for a Friday the 13th special for my friend's tattoo. She spoke to owner and quickly sent over the tattoo she wanted via email. We waited for two hours even after following up on when she would be next. Each time we were told "don't worry, we got it." Was never given forms to sign and they let many people who walked in after us in front of us. Ended up leaving without service.

I got my “daith” piercing here, although the person that did it was nice, she had no idea what a daith piercing is. I told her a daith and when she marked me to make sure, she marked me on my forward helix...and I told her and kept telling were to do it. I trusted her and the piercing looks nice and is healing well...but it’s not what I asked for...I went there for the price $25 (daith usually run for $50 and I didn’t want to pay that price and well I got something I didn’t want) It’ The only piercing I got from them.

I just got some work done by Carlos at Jersey Ink. He is a great guy and a real artist. I had an old (45 years) tattoo and he touched it up and added several elements to make it look fantastic. My experience was extremely positive. The shop is clean and safe and the crew is professional but very friendly. They even played some classical music for me!!! Wonderful place and I highly recommend it!!! Very high energy!!

My experience was great. My piercer was very much nicer than the shop I went to before, we even talked about girly stuff and rock bands and she made the atmosphere comfortable. Would recommend to anyone. Prices are unbeatable. I paid $50 here for two piercings and $106 at another shop.

This establishment does not practice good customer service tactics. I was sold a taper to start off the process of ear stretching. When I got home and looked up information about the starting process, I repeadly seen articles that stated you should only use surgical steel products. The taper I got from there was wooden, which turned out to be a big no-no. I went back the next day and the young lady that sold it to me said even though she remembers us from the day before she couldn't exchange it because we left the store and they don't know if you wore it or not. I explained to her that we didn't wear it because we found out that wooden tapers are not good to use, she said she understood but she couldn't offer a replacement or refund. I can't for the life of me understand why they would sell an item that's not recommended. We asked to speak to a manager, she pointed at him, he made eye contact with us and then he ignored us as we stood there. I don't know what their ink side is like but I wouldn't recommend purchasing anything from this establishment. They sell things that shouldn't be sold and they are plain rude. I hate leaving bad reviews but this one is necessary.
