You're in good hands here. Professional from the second you walk through the door. It's not your typical "pick a print off the wall" type of place. They want you to leave with a masterpiece you'll be happy with for years to come. I've been tattooed by Eric, and everyone compliments the art. Legit took my friends breath away when she saw it. Geoff, who runs the place, also tattooed me and the attention to detail he gives is beyond impressive. I'm looking to head back this winter for another piece I have in mind. Can't wait.

Got my belly button pierced by Danny. He was so nice and professional. I have a very low tolerance to pain (I have fainted on the table at a wax center before) but I only felt a pinch getting this done. I came here because of the great reviews, but mostly because of the reviews of it being clean and hygienic. I’m a nurse so I’m overly particular about sterility and aseptic practices and I wasn’t at all disappointed. I highly recommend this place!

Came back to add a second small piece to my tattoo. it did take awhile for it to be drawn up. however I don't mind because it was done very well. I would definitely come back a third time.

This is one of the nicest tattoo shops in the New Jersey, there few in the area like it and there are a couple others that try to imitate it but this is the true original. Geoff is a living and breathing tattoo and he truly lives the art forms and is a true lover of tattoos. Geoff is exceptionally professional and kind person and tattooer and you will receive the upmost care courtesy and professionalism when receiving your tattoo from him and you'll be treated with dignity and respect. I’ve been here a couple times over the past few years, and not once have I left displeased or unsatisfied. The staff and artists are knowledgable, friendly and easy to talk and communicate with. I’ve been to many parlors and immediately felt uncomfortable due to uptight staff and a dreary, unnerving atmostphere. I can say with 100% certainty, Hole in the Sky is NOT one of these places. They are super professional, and the store owner, Geoff, is an artist I am honored to have had the pleasure of working with for my latest tattoo. Regarding my latest piece, it came out perfectly. I am infatuated with the design and I still can’t believe how amazing it turned out. If you are looking for your first tattoo(or piercing), I strongly suggest Hole in the Sky Tattoo. As someone who recieved their first tattoo, first piercing and now another gorgeous work of art, I can tell you right now that you will not be disappointed.

I've been going to Geoff for about 10 years now for my tattoos and I couldn't' be more thrilled with him finally having his own shop! Let me tell you about it: Shop: The shop is an absolute masterpiece design wise. Wonderful layout, nice cool feel to it. Beautiful, rare wall art, and just a relaxing atmosphere. Staff: Geoff and Mark stand above in the rest in that not only is their work the best around, but they have welcoming, warm personalities to match. Getting a tattoo from someone who really loves what they are doing, and is happy to answer your questions, concerns, etc is something you will only find here. If you're in the market for a new tattoo, a cover up, or just a piercing, Hole in the Sky Tattoo Parlor is the way to go.

I give HITS Tattoo 5 stars because of the experience we had working on our pieces with Dave. I came in with my husband and friend. Her first, my nth and he was really wonderful to work with. He was engaging and made the experience that much more enjoyable because of his open friendliness and professionalism. The place is clean with artsy decor. Warning: they only take cash. Tip well, these guys deserve it.
