Very unhappy with my experience here. Went in to get my daith pierced, and I explained that I hadn't gotten my ears pierced since I was a baby so I didn't know what to expect, but when I tried to ask her questions about the piercing and the healing process, she completely disregarded my concerns and didn't answer any of my questions. She began piercing my ear with absolutely no warning, and stopped halfway through. I was surprised by the pain, as I didn't know what to expect. When I rejected a hug from my mom because it hurt and I didn't want to be touched, the lady started yelling in my ear, calling me a bad daughter and saying that she should've made my piercing hurt more. When she finally finished roughly yanking the needle through my ear and put the barbell in place, she literally slapped my hand away when I tried to get a better look at the piercing with the mirror. This facility has no parking available, was sketchy as hell, smelled weird, and that woman was the rudest and most unprofessional tattoo artist/body piercer I've ever met. The $30 piercing is NOT worth it. Spend the extra money to go to a professional, you'll regret it if you go here.

DO NOT GO HERE! This place is horrible! Customer service sucks, the owner smells like she hasn't had a bath! She is more concerned about her personal life than her customers. Her tattoo looks like a child did it! She showed me some work she has done however I doubt that's her own work! I have to now go to another more reputable shop to fix the tattoo she did! STAY AWAY! This place should be shut down!

DO NOT GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS OR TATTOOS!! Literally can't stress that enough. Go down the street to Waynes World... Seriously. I'm currently in the process of getting a small finger tattoo removed as it straight up looks like a prison tattoo... .What was supposed to be a small dainty cross turned into a thick, black, sword looking thing. Barb wore jewelers eye glasses, the ones with mega magnification.. she is completely unqualified to be tattooing, and quite frankly I'm not sure how she still is licensed to be piercing. The shop is dirty, smells foul, and is covered in dust.. she lives above the shop. This is not the place to go to have your body altered. Spend a little more and go elsewhere. PLEASE.

This was a cpuple years ago but still, Got a tattoo from them when i turned 18, dude took my concept art and did exactly that, put 0 effort in, didnt care what it looked like. I now hate taking off my shirt. Wish i could give a 0 star rating. Avoid at all costs.

I have had piercings done before, but this was my first time at Revelation. The lady who does the piercing is SO RUDE! I walked in and sat quietly waiting for someone to assist me, and after about ten minutes this lady in the corner, who I thought was a customer also waiting, stated mumbling at me. When I said "Excuse me?" b/c I couldn't hear her, she started YELLING at me. When I realized SHE was the associate that would be piercing me, I wanted to leave. I've been wanting this piercing so badly for years that I chose to stay. She rudely pushed paperwork in my face and barked at me to fill it out. barking is the only way to describe the way this woman spoke to me. So we finally came to the piercing, and she didn't even really ask me what I wanted. She just grabbed a basic diamond piece, which isn't what I wanted, but I was so uncomfortable and intimidated that I didn't say anything. When it came to placement, I wanted her professional opinion on where she thought would look good, but she kept saying "I don't know." As a professional you should be able to give that kind of input when it's asked for. in my other experiences the person doing the piercing was friendly and helpful and they were excited for me to get a cool new piercing. This lady was rude and she didn't care one bit. She seriously rushed me, so it ended up being too high up. I ripped it out two hours later, crying. If she had provided a comfortable, unrushed environment, I honestly believe I would have been more picky about the placement. Now I have to let it heal before I can try again. I have been excited about this piercing for almost three years, and in a hasty thirty seconds this woman completely ruined it. I would NOT recommend this studio for piercings. Honestly, if i had a better experience getting pierced, I might have actually liked the piercing enough to keep it. NEVER going there again!

This place is descusting. The lady was extremely rude. Her and her business are very unprofessional. It smelt bad, nothing seemed sanitary and all jewlrey seemed cheaply made. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

She is such an amazing lady!!! She's so funny!!! She did my tragus and my industrial peircings and they never got infected.... And the best part is all peircings are $30!!!! I'm definitely going back to get my daith done

This was my first visit to Revelation, and I loved it! My boyfriend suggested going here because he knows the owner and has gotten many piercings and tattoos from Barb. Right when we walked into the shop I felt welcomed. Barb is a people person and it shows. I got an upper cartilage repierced, and while it hurt a lot more than when I first got it done, I feel like it was worth it. I got to pick out a very pretty gem barbel for the jewelry. And surprisingly the piercing feels fine today. Just a bit sore, as I would think it would. It doesn't hurt or itch as bad as piercings I've had in the past. The only real complaint that I have is that there were too many people in the room that I didn't know, which made my nerves worse, but that's just a personal thing for me.

Went there to get two piercings. She did good but doesnt the difference between a vertical hood piercing and a Christina. Went there for the christina and left with the vertical hood. Didnt think to check it out cause she showed me pics. But when i showed a friend she said ummm no thats not a Christina. Guess i shohldnt have done my homework before i got it.

Barb is a TERRIBLE piercer! Got my lip done by her TWICE and both times it was in the wrong spot and she actually CRACKED the ball making it impossible for me to unscrew it, had to get it professionally unscrewed. Never got a tattoo there but as for piercings, STAY AWAY

got my nose pierced there, it's been 2 days, I've done great cleaning it. Only to find out she used a 16g needle in my nose, in the wrong place, and the jewellery was huge and cheap. Way too big of a needle/piercing for my nose, now I'm recovering from my nostril swelling completely and the painful process of getting it removed. Don't recommend

I honestly could not say enough good things about my experience tonight. I normally do not like to write reviews since I’m lazy however tonight just exceeded my expectations and I found it necessary to share. I called on a whim for a piercing, which I have had done many times before. Barb answer the phone after closing hours and offered to re-open and turn the sign on for me to come down and to take my time. When I walked in I felt nothing but welcomed by her super nice personality. We chatted some and she made me feel very comfortable. She has been in business for 17 years and it shows. I can’t speak for anyone else, but all I can say is that I’m glad I followed my intuition after our phone conversation, and not the few poor reviews I had read. Her prices are just unbeatable, I found the place to be clean and what I would expect a tattoo/piercing establishment to look like. There was some bad weather tonight and some ice had accumulated from the rain and freezing temperatures, she salted the stairs for me to not fall on my way out!! All I can say is I will definitely be back for more. Barb is excellent at what she does, and is super personable. I was very pleased with the pricing and the level of professionalism. This is definitely a place you should check out. :)

I have gotten many piercings from here and have never had a problem. A few weeks ago I went to get my industrial pierced and Im used to the pain because I have many piercings. I thought it looked good at first but as time went on there was a lot of skin on the inside of my ear close to the back. I went back to see if there was anything she could do and was very rude and basically said deal with it or take it out. $30 went down the drain and now my ear is messed up
