Hands down an absolutely incredible experience. This was my first tattoo and the time here was perfect. From the time I walked in to the time I left I dealt with very extraordinary and welcoming people. The place has a very warm design and the whole process was stress free. More importantly though my artist THE Robert Blackadar was exceptional. He was very personable and extremely professional. He is much more than just an artist and craftsmanship. His tattoo of my family's crest came out absolutely amazing and I could not be happier with the final product and the overall experience as a whole!

I would recommend this establishment to anyone! I went there with a friend for the first time yesterday, and the place was extremely clean, cozy, and a relaxing environment. Michaela is fabulous. She is very precise, tidy, as well as patient and will talk to you through the whole thing if you have anxiety like I do! I could not be happier with the results. I chose Midnight Moon because I saw Mat's work online and loved it. The shop is clean and Michaela and Mat are really nice and fun to talk to. I can tell that Mat really listened to what I wanted (a sleeve full of art nouveau flowers) when he designed the tattoo and I can't wait until it's complete. Midnight Moon is well worth the drive and is highly recommended.

I got a really small tattoo here and the guy was very nice and extremely professional. The tattoo healed great and he worked with me a lot on placement. The only thing is if you want something exactly like a picture specify because I went into it not realizing that artists take their own artistic spin on the image you want. I like it it’s just not what I had originally imagined. I will still be coming back again.

I've wanted tattoos for as long as I can remember but the fear of bad artwork kept that desire in check. I did my research as any self respecting tattoo seeker should and thank god I did or I may not have found Midnight Moon. I wanted a large piece done and so was understandably a bit nervous about my first tattoo. I ended up getting a half sleeve with Mathew who is completely wonderful and professional. You cannot beat the work he does. My tattoo came out better than I could have ever hoped for showing up with a loose idea in mind. He knew exactly what I wanted and I've gotten many compliments on my tattoo since getting it. Midnight Moon is stuck with me now! ;) Here's hoping they are around for many more years to come.

Not only is my artist Timm a very talented artist, the work in photos and in portfolios done by the other artists there also seem to be extremely impressive. Add to that the facts that the atmosphere of the place is really cool with all sorts of vintage and curious types of artwork, photographs and specimens, AND of course that it is situated right across the way from Lake Winnipesaukee in scenic NH, you'll begin to understand why I've rated it as highly as I have. Go see for yourself. Go get a "Get-what-you-get" tattoo in the gumball machine, too. The place is always a bunch of fun.

This is a great place. I went in about two weeks ago and it was my first time getting any kind of ink so I didn't really know what to expect. The piece I'm getting is also rather large and I'm surprised how much of it Timm got done in the 4 hours I was there. After two weeks it's healed up well and the detail is outstanding - it's truly a piece of art. Everyone there is very personable. Despite it being my first time under the needle I didn't feel uncomfortable at all the whole time I was there. I'm super excited to go back in another two weeks and finish it up.

Had a great experience at Midnight Moon Tattoo. I found them on yelp and unfortunately it still had the old address and said "no appointment necessary". We got there only to discover they had moved (I panicked when I thought they were gone all together). When I called, the lady who answered the phone was very friendly and excited that we were on our way over. When I got there they did mention that they prefer you to call and make an appointment first but were willing to squeeze me in since I had such a small design and went to the wrong location first. Mathew did my tattoo and he did a great job. I was a bit nervous since it was going on the back of my neck and he could tell. He did a great job of letting me know it would be quick and not too painful. The outcome was great and I love my new tattoo. I will definitely be recommending Midnight Moon to all my friends and will be back for me next one.

Took our daughters for some ear piercings and we are beyond pleased!! Not only was it very clean and sterile, but so welcoming also. We were most impressed by Michaela's attention to detail and how comforting she was for our 6 year old! A little more expensive than we had expected but ended up being worth every penny! I've sat with Audi many times for a piece that literally covers a quarter of my body. For this he would draw on me with sharpie until we were happy with what we saw and he'd go to work. I will be sitting with him next month to start the first piece of my next plan and can not wait. There is nobody better at his craft, he is an incredible artist and a very cool cat. The atmosphere at Midnight Moon can not be beat. I was in there when they were in Chichester, their first location in Meredith and now their second and these guys are great at running a place where everyone is comfortable and leaves happy.

Shocked with the lack of professionalism, which resulted in me permanently stuck with a tattoo that I absolutely hate. My artist (Timm Myers) barely said a single word to me, didn’t show me a design or final piece, just slapped an unfinished stencil on my arm and told me to lie down. I felt uneasy, but the plain stencil looked nice and I figured he was the professional. He drew on the element that I wanted most freehand in sharpie, once again not being clear with how it would look or asking if I liked it, then got to tattooing. He still hadn’t really spoken to me or asked my opinion so I was extremely uncomfortable throughout. By the end of the 4 hours I was so dizzy and tired that I just payed and left, but I hate it. I was very specific about what I wanted, but Timm obviously just doesn’t care about his clients’ wants. I got it as a coverup for some unsightly scarring but I’d honestly rather have the scars. Extremely upset that I spent $700 on something I dislike so much, and now a large portion of my arm is ruined and I’ll never have the tattoo I want. Afterwards I contacted Timm with the issue, he got back to me with an email full of excuses, saying he had to rework what I asked for to suit the scars. Not only does that not make sense, but at no point did he ever attempt to communicate a rework to me, he instead decided to give me a tattoo I didn’t ask for. I responded asking for any suggestions as to how to fix it, and the owner Mathew Clarke got back to me saying there’s nothing they could do. That’s it? I asked for suggestions on how to fix what YOU messed up, the least you can do is show basic respect. I suppose what money I have left will be spent on laser removal. All I have to say is if you’re looking for a comfortable environment with communicative artists who’ll listen to you, run far, far away. Otherwise, you might just end up hating your arm.

This place is a top notch professional organization with amazing artists. Mat Clarke helped me take an idea for a chess-themed "checkmate" scene and bring it to life in the form of a full tattoo sleeve on my left arm. He worked with me through the design process and then spent almost 30 hours making it a beautiful piece of art on my arm. In spending that much time with the crew, I got to know him, Audi and Miki. In the end, I couldn't be happier. My chess sleeve is so awesome that it will blow your drawers off if you ever get the pleasure of seeing it. You are completely crazy if you don't go here!
