Worst tattoo experience ive ever had the owner Paul was rude and rushed his way thru the tattoo like I was a nuisance or something to him and this was my first tattoo I've sense got much better tattoos from a few small shops I don't recommend this place to anyone

Not overly impressed as we traveled to have a piercing done after contacting on the phone a time or two for general questions. Web site and over the phone they never mentioned no debit/credit cards cash only, they do offer a 3rd party ATM machine for a fee which is not too cool. When commenting about the cash Brenda became a little bit rude for my taste. I wonder what happens when someone having a larger tattoo done does, just carry around a bunch of cash. Does not seem like a legitimate business with its un-advertised cash only policy.There are other vendors locally that do not try to get you to use an unsecured 3rd party ATM.

I would recommend Brenda at Gothic Tattoo to ANYONE who seeks to get inked... whether it's your first tattoo or your 50th tattoo... Brenda is the best tattooist to seek for ink...

Paul did my first tattoo tonight. He was patient, understanding and asked me many questions to make sure I was satisfied with my tattoo choice. He educated me before he started to work on my tattoo so I knew what to expect and why. During my tattoo procedure he stopped to make sure I was okay before he continued. He made me feel very comfortable with my tattoo experience. He also was very informative on what to expect and how to proceed with my husband's tattoo. I just want to thank you, Paul. I would never want anyone else doing any tattoos unless it was with you. I am going to recommend him to all my friends. Again, thank you.

Love this place! Clean, friendly, and amazing at their jobs. I've taken my daughter here 2 times 2 get her nose pierced (it fell out and closed up the first time after 6 months) and was done by 2 different people and both were really great. I would totally recommend this place to anyone

Horrible experience, my piercing got infected and I had to take it out. I paid $40 for it and I don't have it anymore, I went back to have them look at it after a couple of days and they said we can't do anything for you.

I went to Gothic Tattoo a couple of years ago and would not recommend it to anyone. It is your average "cookie cutter" tattoo parlor that lacks imagination in creating beautiful pieces that may be considered one of a kind. I was unimpressed with the atmosphere as well and lack of customer service.

I went to Gothic Tattoo on my 18th birthday for my very first tattoo and a piercing. Brenda did my tattoo and Paul did my piercing. Both came out terrible. Initially I was very happy with my tattoo. I was so happy to get it, as I had wanted it for 8 years. Months our, I realize what a terrible job she had done, and after speaking to other artists about it, they, too, said it was not well done. Her hand-work was so very shaky and splotchy. Then, Paul did my ear piercing. He did not even use a metal backing to it, only used his fingers to hole my ear in place which I KNOW made it hurt worse than it would have if he used the metal stabilizer. Months out, I've had nothing but issues with it. 7 months out, it should be healed by now. I just had to take it out yesterday due to such a large peace of scar tissue inside and now I can never even have it re-pierced again. Complete waste of money on both parts. Photos before are the before and after of both piercing and tattoo.

Relaxed, down to earth people who know what they're doing. I had a tragus piercing a couple of months ago and the new jewelry I put in fell out (faulty creepy jewelry bought somewhere else). I went in today to purchase a new stud and three hole had already closed up ever so slightly. The owner put the new stud in and only charged me the jewelry. I will go back there for my next service!

DO NOT GET TATTOOED HERE!!!!! Two of my three cover-ups are from Gothic Tattoo. Back in '05 Paul did a tribal Jesus on my left arm. He went sooo DEEP he scarred me. The artist who did my coverup, Bud Garo, at Spyglass Tattoo, covered it up (Tim Burton Vincent sleeve theme) but was like, "dang! It's like that artist (Paul) put your arm in a meat grinder!" Other worst tattoo and you can read yourself here others had the SAME EXPERIENCE with Brenda. She did my chest it was a sculpture by Bernini - St Teresa in Ecstacy- and not only did she do noodle fingers on the angel and St Teresa, but the line work is shaky, uneven, her shading is patchy, she has one tone throughout so there's no strong darks or highlights just one midtone, and I saved the WORST for last.... THERE'S BLOWOUTS in the Psalm!!!! So yes, avoid. There's better artist's out there who care about producing strong contrast, who have knowledge of color theory, compostition, and better line control, shading skills, and no blowouts...in general there are better artists out there who actually respect that your trusting them with your body to get a well exacuted bold tattoo. Getting the one by Brenda lasered next week... Thurs at 9am and can't be soon enough. So unless you want to spend more money on coverups and laser sessions AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!

I got my first tattoo today from Melody and it was very simple and small lettering. I was hesitant to get a tattoo because of my anxiety, but she is so nice and thoughtful to my needs that I eased my anxiety and went through with it. Couldn’t be happier with the result.

Brenda did my tattoo and it came out really great. She was really friendly and made sure I was comfortable. I had my consultation with Paul and he's a bit gruff, but he won't give you any BS and will always be honest. The prices are also really fair. They don't overcharge you like other places.

Private rooms small enough for a guest to bring a companion. Clean, well-lit, artists give choice of personal headphones or listening to their music. Artwork is double and triple checked. Both silhouette and color work have follow up applications after initial swelling goes down.

I wouldnt recommend anyone to Gothic,unless you plan on getting a very basic tattoo.They refuse to do anything that is ":outside the box" or anything original that actually requires talent.

I went last night to get my tongue pierced, Paul I believe his name was. Was kind of rushed and quick with our interaction, after I got my tongue pierced I called a friend, she told me he pierced hers too and gave her to short of a bar bell so I immediately called Capital Tattoo (on Main Street) had this super sweet girl Tiffany looked at my piercing. She agreed the bar bell was too short not even an hour after I got it done, she gave me a longer bar and put it in for me. May I add when you get anything pierced it needs to be a tad extended in case of swelling, he put a normal size bar bell for a tongue piercing. Wouldn’t recommend this place personally or at least not the guy I saw.

I was trying to find a way to post a picture but I’m not sure I can. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I got my daughters initials on my fingers and her birthday on my wrist. It was spotty and fading after a month. I have plenty of tattoos so I know it could be fixed. I called and asked for someone else to do it because the person I picked didn’t do it well. They refused. Now you can barely see any of it. Either go to the owners or don’t even bother.

I love this place. This was the second time I brought my daughter here to get her nose pierced (it closed up the first time because she pulled it out when she was sleeping) and both times were great. We had different people do it each time but no matter who did it, the results where great. They are friendly, clean, and put both myself and my daughter at ease. They give great instructions for after care, and as long as u follow it, there was never an issue with infection. I would totally recommend this place to anyone.

Over priced for the quality of the tattoo, and it's a cash only place and nowhere is that advertised. Even went back for a touch up and my tattoo is still really patchy. Some may say I must not have taken care of it properly but I know that I have, this is definitely not my first tattoo. Really nice people but I wont be returning for another tattoo or piercing.
