I usually don't write reviews but could not let it go. How to describe Glass St Tattoo - AWFUL - I stopped in a while ago to see how the shop was & to speak with someone about getting a sleeve with realistic roses. There wasn't many people their & I could hear yelling, it was the owner throwing a fit. Just so full of himself "I am the best", it was strange. Then he comes out with this big scary grin like nothing just happened. Very unprofessional, when I looked closer at "his work" at the best it was average or below other artist in the area although the other artist "Derek's" worked look good. I asked around and found out what a creep the owner he is. When I checked out other shops & heard how hated he is it all made sense. Professional: NO, Facility Clean: NO, His Tattoo Work: Average to below average, the atmosphere, very tense. Do not recommend there are to many other great tattoo shops in Manchester.

Their art looks great, but their service leaves something to be desired. I reached out via FB messenger to make an appt to get a consultation. Was told they don't do that, just drop by. So, just dropped by was told I need to make an appt for a consultation. Made an appointment came back a week later. Had what seemed a good consultation with Ricky. Paid my deposit, made an appointment. Was told that day would have a first draft of a design in a few days. A week later I emailed asking status. He got back pretty quick saying I would have something "as soon as possible". A week later and less than a week before the appointment I still hadn't heard back. I called to cancel and get my deposit back not being comfortable moving forward and was told 'because I was cancelling so close to the date I may not get my deposit back'. I (admittedly with a bit of an attitude) explained I was cancelling so late because I hadn't gotten the design. I was then told that the way the shop works is that the do the design the day of the tattoo, to ensure I get what I wanted. This was confusing since I was told twice before I would get the design, and explained this. At that point I was probably annoying enough to them they wanted to get rid of me, so they said they would refund my deposit, and did. I had heard great things about them, but not my experience.

I went in and got a tattoo from Derek and he was amazing! My roses came out exactly how I wanted them. He was professional but also very friendly and easy going. From the second I walked in I felt welcome and was able to schedule an appointment within a few weeks which was awesome! I would definitely recommend this whole shop and most importantly I would recommend Derek!!

I personally have never gotten a tattoo at Glads Street Tattoo however I have been wanting one. Some of my friends have gotten tattoos here and they are beautiful!! The people are phenomenal and are great company when getting a tattoo. They have beautiful results, great deals, and incredible artists. Definitely recommend.

STAY AWAY! The worst Customer Service I have ever received. The owners vulgar language and condescending attitude towards the gay community was not only offensive, but degrading. I even received a harassing phone call from the Owner after submitting my complaint. STAY AWAY!

I don't even live in New Hampshire and I already plan on coming back up again to see Derek for my next tattoo! Will never be going here again. The atmosphere was tense and made me feel as though I was an unwanted customer. Had an appointment at 5:30 and the artist didn’t even start until 7. He would take smoke breaks, consistently talked about himself and what he needed to do and was on his phone while I was waiting for him to even put the stencil on. Also, very rude and snappy. Overall not a good experience at all and have many other shops I would recommend before this one.

I had a tattoo during a flash event done here. The artist was precise and fast, I did not wait long despite it being a discount event and all the artists and staff in the shop were nice and appeared to have fun doing what they do. The tattoo healed perfectly and it’s one of my favorites now. Can’t wait to come use my tax refund to get another at the new location!

I went to David Chea after a close friend of mine recommended him to me. He did a beautiful realistic butterfly on my arm. After that tattoo, he officially owned my arm. I don't want to go to another artist because 1. David's work is immaculate 2. He makes the appointment fun with movies, music, and takeout. It really eases the pain! 3. His shop is SUPER clean. 4. His designs are unique and always tailored to what I want. Derrek is an amazing aritst! He did a rose and a heart shaped locket on my arm. The linework and shading is on point. Since my husband has gone to him to cover his arm with a graveyard scene and a viking battlefield. I would highly recommend this shop plus they at a very convenient location at the mall now.

Scheduled two kick starter appointments with Derek and make no mistake, he is the most approachable, friendly, and relaxed tattoo artist I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He easily mastered a cover up in our 1st appt. and the for the 2nd did a beautiful realistic lion on my forearm. Do not take Derek lightly. His is experienced and extremely talented at his career.

My half sister and I met for the first time in person and decided to get matching Harry Potter Deathly Hallows tattoos and he was so wonderful to take us in and do them with no appointment, very close to closing time. He even touched up a slightly faded tattoo for me that he hadn’t even originally done. We were both very satisfied with his work, and if I lived in the area, he would be my regular artist.
