REVIEWS OF Vegas Ink Tattoo Shop IN Nevada

Ryan Burghardt

Not friendly. Artist did a great job but never introduced himself said nothing prices get doubled or more then what they tell you and don’t care when you question them. I get your on the strip and expensive rent but be honest with your pricing. 200$ for 3 words and 7 mins in a chair.

Beth Barela

Gram's FIRST tattoo. 88 years of age. Thanks Jesse, for doing us!

Giancarlo Paredes

Very friendly and attending staff. Negotiable on prices came here got two tattos for myself and one for my wife. Great quality, one of the best ink shops on the strip. Also has a view of the strip as you sit in the seat.

Bobbi Jo Raymond

Marcel is great....but the lady behind the counter is a liar. Quoted me one amout then changed it after he was done. I WONT GO BACK...I LIKE HONEST PEOPLE! Marcel belongs working for a reliable honest company.

Katrina Guitierez

Awesome experience! Great tattoo! I looked up the reviews and wanted to experience myself. A definite thumbs up! Thank you to my artist! I definitely recommend Vegas Ink!!

Melissa Pierce

THIS SHOP WILL ROB YOU!!! I wish I would have read the reviews on this place prior to getting my tat here because this is repetitive with this place. Same exact scenarios keep happening. BEWARE-They charged me $640 for 3- 10 min long tattoos. They don’t let you pay before they tatoo you, she said they only took payment after. She said their minimum is $100. They used a little square to base their pricing off of. She counted the number of squares and multiplied by $45. My tatoo was 3 little words going down the back side of my wrist, approximately 3 inches long and 1/4 of an inch tall. All 3 of my words could have fit into 1 square but she measured horizontal, meanwhile the rest of the square was blank. Actually no it wasn’t blank it was being taken up by the dollar sign reflections in her eyeballs. The girl at the counter WITH NO VISIBLE TATOOS OF HER OWN has horrific public relation skills. She explained absolutely nothing about there pricing before we got started or else I would of never done it. On the flip side, our tatoo artist was amazing. He was kind & patient & made sure we got the exact tatoo we invisioned. He was fantastic and is too good to be working at that crooked tatoo shop. It was my 1st trip to Vegas and we felt robbed! This was my first time ever giving a business a 1 star!

It was my first time in Vegas over a week ago and I wanted my first tattoo. I’ve been wanting one for a long time and whenI went; a gentleman name Nolan; actually was really nice. He listened to my story about why I wanted my first tattoo design and was very happy to do it. I felt comfortable and so happy to get it done by him. This place was amazing and the staff was just great. I would go again and ask him to do another for me. This place gets more than 5 stars in my book.

WARNING!! ⚠️ DO NOT go here! I now have a jail tattoo on my arm that I have to live with FOREVER! I’m that ashamed of the tattoo I always have a jacket or bandage on to hide it. I asked to see the owners multiple times but they did not help even though they knew how bad of a tattoo it was. Telling them if they wouldn’t put this work on their portfolios or family members, why would they put it on me. I’m absolutely disgusted as I paid top price for my tattoo and it couldn’t have turned out worse.

Eric Santacreu

The worst place in Las Vegas. Actually the artist Nolan was very kind to us, he understood perfectly our idea and a price was agreed upon, but when the manager came, he did not understand anything and it only increased the price and the size of the drawing. Without counting on our idea. She said it was totally impossible to do it the size we wanted. I think she wanted to take advantage of our need to earn more money for our honeymoon and we actually did it in another better store, regardless of the price, but exactly to our liking and size. And of course, yes, it was possible.

Shane Buzza

Like others that have reviewed, my g'friend and I were blown away with the price charged!! The staff are really nice, and there is a great view of the strip - but this doesn't justify the price of $1540 that we received for two tattoos that took 2hrs combined and were very simple to do (both were all black too, no colour). We were blown away by this, really ruined what should have been an amazing experience! Staff need to be transparent with what the cost of the tattoo will be, as this was double what we expected to pay - would not go back.

Jason Stecker

Absolutely amazing!! Ryan did a great job for both my wife and I - and the entire staff was so friendly.

Lee Brown

The tattoo artist was great but way overpriced for a 3 word tattoo and paying $750. And we were never gave an estamite. Would not reccomend going for just a fun little Vegas tattoo.

Krista Denney

The artist were very nice.... but like many of the other reviews we were quoted low and overcharged after they were finished. They quoted my husband $500 - $600 and tried to charge us $2,000. They quoted me $200 for my tat and charged me $500. A total scam!

rodnita Moore

First thing that really made me mad was the pricing is not what is posted but they have you sign a form saying you understand the pricing. Next thing the lady at the desk at the Planet Hollywood location was very rude and unhelpful. She spoke to everyone in that same disrespectful tone. I planned on going back to get my other tattoos because the tattoo artist was great, until they over charged us after getting a quote for half the amount she charged us. This company has lost me, my friends and family business forever.

Brianna Moore

Melissa was amazing and my tattoo turned out just like I had imagined. Won't go anywhere else here in Vegas!! Thanks Melissa

Jessica Fontanez

The lady told me a price and i came back a week later and the price they gave me went up 100 dollars

Jay Tup

Derrick was awesome. He hooked my buddy up with a Dogfish tattoo and gave birth to the greatest nickname. Thanks for getting this done before he had a chance to change his mind!

Doug Lancaster

Thieves. Will quote you one price, then make you pay triple after.

Andrew Fleming

Go to Mike James! He's been there for 6 years. Clean lines...very professional and fast. He is an amazing artist that can do a quick souvenir tat or a detailed piece. Great guy and a great shop. Cheaper than Club Tattoo by 50%! Better atmosphere too! We're from AZ and he was able to refer us to an amazing artist and friend of his in Scottsdale. We will be seeing Mike and the Vegas Ink crew next year on our annual vacation!

King Car Service

Avoid, waited almost 4 hours for them to quote me 800$ more then the initial quote of $250. The place is clean and the work is good but they are out to take your money take your business elsewhere! They are in it to rob you!!! Place should be shut down

Alana Hall

Extremely happy first tattoo by Ryan Cush. Very personable and caring. Highly recommended from Canada.

Teri Elmore

This was a friendly place. We were visiting Vegas to celebrate birthdays and my sister and I wanted a tattoo in memory of our mom and our husbands moms. They did an amazing job in which was a heart with a cancer ribbon and little hummingbirds at the top. Also my niece had a beautiful flower with a vine done on the inside of her arm. Their prices are very reasonable and when I am in Vegas again I will go back.

Jack Sharp

OVERPRICED AND DIRTY

Mandy Monroë

Went in to this place and the artist Nolan Newbury didn’t have a clean station which made me extremely nervous. He seemed to have a better idea of what I wanted more than me! Incredibly rude! Horribly overpriced. These people will swindle you and try to make you think you’re getting some “special” deal. VERY SHADY!! There are over 50 tattoo shops in Vegas. PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS ONE.

דניס אזנקוט

Didn't got one at the end, I was too afraid. But we enjoyed the good atmosphere and great service

Valerie B

I came in for a simple heart tattoo in my finger. I heard my artist nolan talk to some one about bees and i ended up getting a sweet bee tattoo! Its so cute and he just kinda drew it on me with his tattoo gun!

Mike Curtis

Walked into the location at the Miracle Mile shops and had a chat with Wayne about my tattoo idea. He took my ideas and turned them into reality with little effort. Sat in his chair and got an amazing tattoo in a great shop. Are you going to pay a premium for getting a tattoo on the strip? Yes but not nearly as much as other shops (some places quoted over $500 for the same tattoo). If you're looking to get inked in Las Vegas, definitely stop by this shop and get it done!

Jess Lynch

Pricey I didn't buy anything

Erin Hall

I went in and seen that their starting rate was $120 an hour. I thought perfect! What I had requested was simple line work. They quoted me $350 for something that would take less than an hour to do. I told them I was only looking to pay $200. I guess for an additional 10 minutes of work is $150 dollars? My tattoo took about 20 minutes and I thought it was going to be less than what they quoted but nope. 20 minutes of tattooing is $200 dollars I guess. The line work is nice, but I could have/should have just done it myself. Tourists beware: they will gouge you.

Was on vacation in Vegas recently and decided to get my ear pierced (forward helix) at Vegas Ink while I was there. Had a really good experience. The shop is open 24 hours which is very convenient. Cost was a little pricey, but that is to be expected in such a popular place such as Vegas, especially right on the strip, and it was worth the cost as the place seemed clean and professional. My piercing was done by Bryan (I believe) who was pleasant, efficient and informative. He made sure I was happy with the placing before piercing me, and despite it being such a sensitive area, he was quick and made it as painless as possible. I was very pleased and it looked exactly how I wanted it. He was very informative and was sure to instruct me in detail on aftercare as well as jewellery used and recommended. Thanks again!

Stopped in here while I was on vacation last week and decided to get the first tattoo I ever got covered up on my back. After looking at a couple of the guys portfolios I decided I would talk with Travis about what I had in mind. I had a piece of tribal across my upper back that looked bad. I went to Travis and let him know that I wanted my last name done from shoulder to shoulder. I knew that wouldn't be the only thing to get and have it fully covered so I asked his ideas and came up with a tattoo of five roses and my name done through them. The best part was when he first said this I was thinking no that's not really my style and thinking about it in my head just didn't think it would look that great. He pulled out his tablet and took a pic of my old tat, he then starting adding the roses and my name on to it so I would know exactly how it would look when it got done. It was the visual that got me to understand that this guy really knew what would look really nice. I had spoke with probably 10 other artist at many of other shops prior to this and not one person would take the time to help me come up with something. This is by far the best tattoo I have ever received. I plan to make a trip out in a few more months from Illinois remind you to have him do a couple more. If your looking for a great place to get a new tattoo then make sure you stop by here and I encourage you to talk with him.

eidan bereby

What an amazing shop very clean artist are very professional and obviously a bit pricey due to location in famous artists but definitely worth the price I had a great experience in the shop and will definitely come back thank U for the beautiful work And i will definitely see you guys for my next tattoo

Lydia Silva

I went there for my first tattoo and I highly recommend it. Royal did my tattoo and all in the shop we're friendly! It turned out awesome and is still as nice as when I first got it!

Melissa Lloyd

I would recommend this place to anyone! My daughter and I really appreciated the work Penny did for us. She was fun and friendly, and very professional. The shop is clean and comfortable. We walked in and we were taken care of right away. Prices were comparable to other Vegas shops on the Strip, and we had an incredible view of the strip while we got our ink. I would trust Penny with any of my art.

Kyle Tasker

*DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT SET FOOT IN HERE* THEY QUOTE YOU ONE PRICE AND YOU END UP PAYING MULTIPLE TIMES AS MUCH. QUOTED $200 FOR 2 VERY SMALL DICE AND THE END BILL WAS $1200. DO NOT SIGN ANY PAPERWORK AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU KEEP WELL AWAY FROM THE COMPANY THAT WILL TAKE YOUR HOUSE CAR AND LIFE SAVINGS IF THEY COULD. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. READ ALL OTHER REVIEWS I'M NOT ALONE.

Carly Perez

Love our Tattoo. Very professional staff

Jenna Munson

I love this shop! It's totally worth the money! Go see Danny.

JD 707

DO NOT GET INK HERE!!!

KaSondra Anderson

Nolan was excellent! Great energy. He was nice, funny, and professional. Love my new Birthday Tattoo. ❤

Christiana Coberg

BF and I both got a basic, black-line tattoos here. The woman who was reception was awful. Rude when I asked questions, dressed like a homeless lady who was just hanging out. She (condescendingly) told me the artist couldn't do the tattoo I wanted (he definitely could, it was literally just lines) which made the artist sound pretty incompetant. She found something similar to what I wanted online and I settled. THANKFULLY, the artist (Jake? Jack? Sorry - young guy with shoulder length hair) heard my concern and tweaked the design to exactly what I wanted. He was nice, quick, did the one fix I wanted and everything looked clean and sterile. My BF was getting his first tattoo ever and his artist (didn't speak two words to him. Didn't give him cleaning instructions or make small talk (which, whatever. We hate small talk too, but for a first-timer he felt a little lost). Art itself was good and healing nicely. Price is TERRIBLE, like absolutely insane for what we got, but its the strip and middle of the night, so taking that into account it seemed fair. The pic below was $150 and about 25 mins of work.

Crystal Ellzey

They are a bit expensive but I wouldnt expect anything less on The Strip. But that is not my complaint. They are friendly. Which was good. Vegas vibe for sure. My complaint comes from the lack of know how with piercings. I am from Houston. I live in an area that piercings and tattoos are common as I have them both. I went in and wanted the daith piercing. Which is a piercing located in the inner ear. Most piercers will recommend one way or another and they did not. They looked almost scared to pierce me which did not make me feel confident. I asked him if everything was okay and he said yes. His hands were kinda shaking. I felt maybe I was the first person he was piercing in that location due to another man over seeing him. I went ahead and let him do it. WORST MISTAKE EVER! I have had a child with no drugs and I was fine... and this pain had me so nauseous! Once he inserted the needle in my ear... which was fine... he started pulling upward with it and the pulled the needle out and tried to shove the earring in afterwards instead of screwing the earring to the end of the needle and pulling it through. My ear started gushing blood. I just had him take the needle out and had him pierce my helix instead. I was over it. I went in wanting something permanent more less to remember Vegas by and it was awful.

nicole babbitt

Ask price first! I about fell over when my husband and I got tattoos here. The people were very nice but we got dice tattoos that took maybe 20 mins and the total cost was $840 for both.

Great customer service

Ryan Cush did work on me when I was in town on Thursday. I have had many tattoos done before by someone good in New York but Ryan by far exceeded what I got done. I was nervous about getting work done away from home by a stranger but thank God I went to him because he knocked it out of he park and it was by far the best tattoo I have ever had. It was a 3 hour session and he was just amazing. If I ever have any more ink done I will be flying back out there. All you people crying about the price have to ask first. It's not a traditional place where they do the work and you pay by the hour or the artist quotes you. It's about the size of the tattoo and they use whatever formula it is they use. I have to say it was a bit expensive but if you break it down by the hour it's about a 20% markup of what a good artist would charge. People it's vegas like New York they mark everything up because of where its located. Ryan and Vegas ink made my experience Amazing professional and I will be makeing the 5hr flight to get more work done by Ryan when it's time.

Deven Payne

They were amazing very nice people fantastic art to mention as well Nolan and neech were fantastic people and artist great attitude and great creativity highly recommend :)

Sarai Mendoza

Everyone at the shop was down to earth and easy to get along with. I discussed my idea with an artist and received input and suggestions and was priced BEFORE the work begin. The vibe during my session was awesome and my artist Bryan was so fun to chat with. The artwork is phenomenal and the price was exactly as I was quoted. I'll definitely return.

paulina ibarra

just got my popeye tatto color in this last sunday they only color that 2 arms and face of popeye they charge me $1,782 the worse place to just go in and look around they dont give you price on advance plus they make you paid 10% tip mandatory

Debbie Morgan

Jason was awesome. So much fun and great work on the Nova Scotia diva's

Lexis Sams

I have had 1full tattoo done and started a sleeve. All with the same guy! Leo is the best by far! Super nice guy and amazing work!! Both of my tattoos have full faces and they are much better than I could have imagined!! Great pricing!!

Sarah Stevens

Let me start with saying that I am happy with the quality of my Tattoo. The artist was detail oriented and great to work with. With that said, BEWARE. They charged us $600 for 2 - 10 min long tattoos. I tried paying before we started and was told they only did payment after. I was shocked and had no idea it would cost that much! They explained absolutely nothing about there pricing. I would of never done it. It was the beginning of my trip and we felt robbed. :( such a bummer mood. I have never given a 1 star and I'm a local guide.

John Dombrock

Its criminal what they charge and how they trick you into believing one price and then when its time to pay the price is through the roof. Cheats, thats what they are. The artist was great, the experience good, but hiway robbery on the price. Read the reviews and shop around. Not worth anywhere near what they charged. I am embarrased to have paid the bill. Plan on at least 3 times what you expect and dont believe the hourly rate they give because they dont use it.

John Clover

Stay far away! Omg most unhonest people ever! I got a quote on a tattoo they told me $150-$200 they did the tattoo finished & charged me $550 wow! I complained threaten to call police.. well it did no good because I signed all the paper work. They're so shady its ridiculous people. 90% of there customers wont come back anyway so there out to RIP you off. They do not care about repeat business. This place should be sued! Go elsewhere please dont get ripped off like me, it ruined my hole trip!

Johnnyb

Johnny is a great piercer and a fantastic dude!

Sara Grace

Absolutely terrible. Jay pierced my nipples. The most excruciating pain I've ever felt. I had to take them out because of how poorly they were pierced. I was absolutely trashed and they shouldn't have taken a second look at me. They don't inform you of prices until after its done. They hit me with a $150 bill, but I still tipped him $25. After struggling with them, I sought out professional advice where I live (Virginia Beach). I spoke with several different piercers and they've all urged me to take out my barbells. They've been placed too far back, pose serious health risks and will never heal properly. Jay pierced half way back my areolas, not my nipples. They weren't even symmetrical, they were crooked!! I will try to post pictures of the work that was done. They refuse to compensate me or fix what they've done. I will never go back to Vegas Ink, and I hope none of you do either. Terrible practice.

Sabrina Cirok

Never ever! First they told me its gonna be about 150 $ for my tiny tattoo, what I thought its okay, coz its Vegas. But at the end they wanted 500$ (!!!!!!!!!) Are you kidding me? For that money I could have made a whole arm tattoo!

NøSkíll

Nolan never tattooed Cheyenne Dugan, but did evict her in a lengthy court process. She has no complaints about his actual work because she never got tattooed by him. He's a great and patient artist.

Brittany Tomaino

Went in looking for a nice tattoo expierence . Everything was good besides after I got tatted and heard the price I was going to be paying . Never in my life I would think the tattoo would be almost a grand for a palm size tattoo with just black coloring . Don't get how it was that much , beware & ask how much before you start !! Minimum is $120 . Apparently that's probably for a simple dot. Still angry about it .

bm rln77

While my tattoo looks great, my wife's was only average. The problem is price gouging. What should have been $400 (or less) cost $2,400! They didn't give pricing up front.

Rebecca Hanson

I paid $200 for a very small tattoo and I loved it at first but once it healed it looked terrible. Half of it looks basically gone. I have miltiple tattoos so I know it has nothing to do with the aftercare. It almost seems like he didn't go deep enough into the skin. Im super disappointed and going to get it covered up ASAP. Do not go here its a waste of money and you will likely have to go get your tattoo fixed or covered up else where.

Chester Scott

OVER PRICED stay away unless you like getting SCREWED. Simple Las Vegas tattoo and they wanted $200 F-ing dollars. INSANITY.

Brandon Weaver

Yes, little pricey. You're on the strip. Of course it is. But great shop. Good work work. Clean environment. And talked through the entire thing to keep you occupied. Would definitely get another tattoo here.

D

Over priced Cali is 10x cheaper.

Madison Horton

I am mom writing this review. I Brought my daughter here to get her nose pierce. Piercer DID NOT go over any information nor asked any questions. Piercer did not measure my daughter’s nose thickness or even give me a choice in jewelry selection. I have my nose pierced and the placement the piercer set for my daughter seemed much higher than mine. I questioned the piercer about it and showed him where mine was placed. He laughed and said he would never place it that low. The most certain thing about the experience was that they we were very eager to take my money. The stud ended up sinking into her nose only three days after it got done. When we got back to my home state, I had to go to our local, amazing, extremely knowledgeable body piercing shop to get advice on what to do. We ended up pulling out the original piercing done at Vegas Ink Tattoo Shop to let it heal. The AMAZING body piercing shop (Body Piercing Unlimited) in Palmer, AK did a new piercing on the opposite side in a much better spot on her nose and even waived the piercing fee so that we only paid for the jewelry. We were basically “treated and streeted” at Vegas Ink Tattoo Shop. A huge disappointment considering how much business they must get because of the location. It’s apparent that quality isn’t a priority at Vegas Ink Tattoo Shop. If you’re looking to get a piercing done while in Vegas, do your research but COMPLETELY avoid Vegas Ink Tattoo Shop.

Eric Ford

Fantastic place for a new that. Wife and I each got one. Staff very helpful, friendly, courteous and professional.

Timara Pittman

Super hugs and kisses to my tat artist Nolan for doing an amazing job on my tribal horse tattoo. First time in Vegas and Nolan made even more memorable and special. Will be back to Vegas Ink on my next adventure to Las Vegas .

Christina Marentette

Tattoo artist are amazing but the lady at the counter is a thief. I got a tiny tattoo and was told the shop minimum was $100. Afterwards, she tells me it’s $450, which is insane. She then revises the price to $420 after explaining their ridiculous pricing guide. Don’t go here. Quality work but not worth being robbed.

Will Carter

Very professional tattoo parlor that will work with you on whatever your idea is. They are creative and have the necessary experience.

Jordan Davidson

Got my first ever tattoo here, amazing :D

Emily Hilburn

Quoted 900 dollars for relatively small black and gray tattoo. I think they just wanted me to leave. I get that everything is more expensive in Vegas but that's just a scam. I have giant tattoos done by talented artists for 450. Go somewhere else.

Gooze

My overall experience was really good. I went in and was sent to the front desk lady, we talked about my ideas and the size i want it to be (its about 2-3 cm / 5-6 inches). The shops minimum is 100 usd, its pricey BUT they are on the Vegas Strip so u cant exept anything else! She wanted to charge 120 usd for this small tattoo and i knew its gonna be expensive but not that much. So i wanted to lower the price (because it was thought as a souvenir for me) and after going back and fourth (and she beeing unfriendly) she asked the tattoo artist if 110 usd is ok. It was fine and the artist accepted it! ... I am really happy how it came out and I actually gave 3 stars because of the price point but yeah.. its vegas strip so! The artist are super friendly and hygienic (changing gloves etc ) and actually the most important he made me aware that the area I wanted my tattoo to be is a bad spot bc the skin peels alot there (ancle area) SO I have to say I loved him beeing honest and caring... The Ink is plant based.

Cheri Blessing

I wanted a small wrist tattoo. Not too much because I have plans for the rest of my arm. They didn't great job and I will add on slowly!

Denisa Haist

This place is insanely over priced. Not worth it...go somewhere else!

jason powell

This is my 3rd trip to Vegas Ink, I highly recommend them to anyone thinking about getting some ink in Vegas. Very clean shop, professional and friendly staff, and a great overall experience.

Hannah Stone

READ REVIEWS ON YELP FIRST. Went in with my man as a walk in to get a small tattoo (less than an inch square). We went in the night before and were quoted THE minimum $120 per tattoo by Derek. Unfortunately, Derek was booked up this evening so we went with another guy (I can't remember his name but he had tattoos all over his face) and he did a great job. Clean lines, nice shading, all that, and for both of us, the entire tattoo session took a little more than thirty minutes. I tipped him $20 as well. However, when we went to pay, our $120 minimum suddenly was jacked up to $200 per tattoo. The woman explained that it was because our tattoo was a full color tattoo (red only) and that it was a little bigger than the standard size (she SHRUNK the template 5% after she showed us the original print out size). After taxes and a .75oz bottle of tattoo ointment, our total was $421. It's Vegas, we know, but seriously, we feel we got ripped off. Make sure you're certain you know what you're paying before the needle hits you.

Burning Yeti

Over priced and over rated. It is open 24 hours which should be nice but they want $200 for seven simple dots. They will charge you whatever you say your limit is. The same tattoo idea is half the price at other shops within walking distance. Take the walk, you'll be just as happy and you'll have enough money for a whole other tattoo

John Gieler

Bait and switch on the walk-ins. Wife and I got a small tattoo each for our anniversary. We emailed an image in advance but this was not there. We were asked to sign a waiver a d one of the checkboxes was to acknowledge we got a price list. I asked about this and they didn't gave one available but said the tattoos would be $150 each. The music was incredibly loud a d the person we talked to may have been taking advantage of this. So since my wife and I both heard $150 we agreed. The artist had trouble understanding how to do the transfer correctly and flipped the design so it was coming out backwards on the transfer paper. We finally got that straightened out and after two 20 minute sessions, we were then charged $250 each. I know it's Vegas but that is a lot for 20 minutes and a simple 1"x3" line drawing. To put it in perspective I got an 8x8 piece done on my back that took nearly 3 hours and was only charged $350. Also, ZERO advice on after care given.

Mari Arrington

My guy and me enjoyed the experience and will always get more ink from LVI when in Vegas

DR. SUGAR

Excellent love it artists is great

JSA Account

Screwed me on the price!! They never gave me a quote, then charged $300 for 20 min of work AFTER the tattoo was finished. Manager (a woman) is a trashy cheatful person!!

Jorge DeLeon

Terrible attitude from one of the ladies there, when I asked if they would consider a lower price for simple lettering. Hint: You should not use the F word with a customer, just tell me a lower price is not possible.

Amy Perkins

My very first tatoo, went in with friends and watched the artist Penny do a wonderful job! She discussed in great detail my design and the art ended up being excellent! Would highly recommend going here!

Krista Scantland

Had called in advance about 4 of us getting the same tat. We were told to come on in and they would get them knocked out. Well...... When we got there, it was 15-20 mins before anyone even asked what we needed. The guy that ended up doing 3 of our tattoos felt the need to tell us he has a wife and girlfriend. I could care less what he does in his free time. I am paying 80.00 for a 15 min tattoo and it took 45 mins because he felt the need to debate relationship lifestyles with me. I felt the whole place was unprofessional. I only gave it 3⭐ because i got my tattoo with my girls.

Daniel Newbury

Nolan Newbury tattooed me several times on many occasions. Each time I felt very secure with his hygiene and professionalism. I still get compliments on the artistic quality of his work. Thank you Nolan Newbury.

Lewis Point

Absolutely the best place in the world to get a tattoo thank you Mike and Vegas tattoo for helping us honor our family

Tiana Spurling

Nolan was tremendously helpful. He drew and designed work for me and my friends all night so we decided to come back. He gave me a giant piece knee to ankle in only 30 minutes

Laceys Plexus Slim

Great experience. Walked in for a spur of the moment tattoo. Everyone was friendly and it was fun. Paid a very decent price of under 200$ and it turned out perfectly. Great job guys.

Jim Jones

Over priced and horrible work. Paid $600. For this and just paid $400 to correct it as best as possible from a different tattoo parlor in SC.

Veronica Rose

Brian is the best, love my

Michelle Manton

My sister and I had matching tattoos done by Wayne. He was fantastic and very talented. The shop was super clean and everyone there was very friendly. They quoted us a price and we paid it prior to having the tattoo done. There were no extra charges. We are very happy with the work that was done and would definitely get another tattoo done there.

mindy mcgarry

I got a tattoo done today by Mike. He was very professional and kind. Quoted $150 and paid $150. I am in love with my tattoo!

Julie Yarbrough

Really rounded out my vegas experience. I am usually of tame nature and so I felt like doing something a little crazy just so I could say I did it. The piercing did not hurt at all and healed quickly. Great job guys.

Nolan was great! He gave us a great experience! We both got ridiculous tattoos, and he completely channeled our personalities. We love Nolan and want him to give you a great tattoo! He also drew an awesome caricature for us! Go to Vegas ink!! ❤️ #areyouafurry #paoloandbernice

I went in last night (02/25/2016)with my fiancee to get his first tattoo. It was a simple tattoo with no design work from the artist. It took just under 40 minutes for the job. We were greeted, the shop was clean and the tattoo was very nice. However, it came time to pay. The lady at the register said $2,500.00. We thought she was joking. She wasn't. At no time prior to this was a price discussed. Yes, we should have asked. We do expect to pay for things on the strip. But $2,500.00 for a 39 minute uncomplicated tattoo? . I told the cashier we had $500.00 and that is all we were going to pay. She took that after a lengthy discussion, saying "I guess that is better than nothing". If the shop felt this was truly a $2,500.00 job, don't you think they would have made the price very clear upfront? I have my personal thought as to what was attempted here. I will leave it up you to decide. Obviously in the future, we will ask the price at the beginning.

Went in with my friend to get matching tats and jay was our artist. We were a walk-in and quickly attended to us, their whole vibe is awesome and Jay did a great job and decent price compared to other tattoo shops on the strip.

Basshunter745

Be careful !! Don't fall into the trap !! They over charge people. Like I was talking to the tattoo artist about the tattoo I wanna do and the cost. He said 800$. Suddenly, the cashier girl came and said 1800$ !! I asked her why price suddenly jump from 800$ to 1800$ and the smart artist said he was talking about a smaller tattoo. However, I love my tattoo and the artist is a badass. If they would stop tricking people and think they are naive, I will defiantly then come again. They also sold me the skin care package for 100 $ and I found it on amazon for 18$ ...

Michael Silverlock

$4000 for 6 hours of chair time. Not cheap. Their work is exceptional but wow..... expensive.

suhailly morales

Totally fell in love with the front girl who helped me so much and Big Mike with his huge heart. Great place, awesome artists, decent prices.

Me and my girlfriend we're quoted "around" 120 for small tattoos. We decided to do it. BIG MISTAKE. after everything was said and done ,she got hers I got 1 and small touch up. one was the size of silver dollar and the other a Ruby the size of a quarter I already had, touched up. All were extremely simple easy tattoos..my girlfriend's was 20 minutes of color.shade on a tattoo she already had!! 20 minutes, no line work just color shade of 2 colors. She wanted more detail im hers and her artist said it wouldnt matter and told he no. Very unprofessional..unp tattoos took 45 minutes total. We go to check out and pay and are told we owed 1200$! I've been tattood many places and that was complete robbery. They say " you've never been tattood in Vegas" so I decide to call around town and ask..I was quoted from 3 other shops in Vegas they would of done it for 400 total mine and hers. They are robbing people, and LIEING about prices, changing them after you've already been tattood on. It should be criminal and they should not be allowed to get away with what they are doing. We even tried disputing with them what we were told and what we were being charged the absolutely refused to work with price and acted like they never said the tattoos should be around 120 each. would rate half star if I could. Fair warning STAY AWAY

Albert L.

A walk-in no appointment necessary tattoo/piercing place that's open 24/7. One side of shop is devoted to tattoo and other for piercing. You can literally do both all at the same shop. Equipments are well-kept and clean as organized as they get. No matter what time you show up there will always be someone on site.

Nikkie Duncan

Very professional

Llaneli Gonzalez

So expensive! The girl lured me in saying it would be $100 and at the end it was $250 for something that they literally copy and paste. They won’t modify. It’s faded and the worst tattoo by far that I have

ben straw

Amazing good tattoos #nolannewberry

Nicole Eng-Pierson

My son wanted something he will forever remember Vegas. Got his ear pieced. They did such a great job. Talked him through it. How to clean it. Explained everything to him. Great job!

Joseph Greenwood

Amazing artists. Nice locations. Hoping to get work done there

Doug Stamper

Don’t go here. Over priced and dirty

Paul Ewing

Love this place! Nolan’s the man!! He can do anything from heartwarming family stuff to something out of H.P Lovecrafts eldritch nightmares. Never a dull moment and never unprofessional. I love ya man, keep it up Nolan! I’ll see you next time!

Trent Hugill

I got a very simple very small tattoo. 4 letters filled in. 1/2 inch wide by 2.5 inches. I was charged 250$ for less then 20 mins of tattooing. I've never left a review anywhere but just thought I'd let some people know, don't come here if your getting something simple. My artist was a really nice dude, sketched it up the way I had it in my head, but that price wasn't in my head. It's a 120 shop minimum and I feel I got vegasd pretty hard in the ass. Get tattoos in your hometown.

Richard Floyd

Great work but make sure you agree on a price before you start getting your piece done. Can be very expensive

Emily Roosevelt

Went to this shop with my husband to get his first tattoo. Artist that eventually worked on him was immediately pretty abrupt, rude, jaded, unwelcoming to us. Gave $120 deposit to the receptionist to get a sketch and come in at a later time... 2.1 hours in the chair = $1560!!! Woooow! Never was told the rate. Size of tattoo was about 6inches by 4inches rectangular, wasn’t a highly intricate design. The artist’s work was done very well (only positive about this entire experience). Spending that much $$ and getting treated like we were nothing. Sad, overpriced, and sad to see how jaded the shop and employees are of people coming in and not getting work done. Even worse is paying and getting treated like nothing still. Never will go back. Definitely would have never put a deposit knowing the Minute by minute rate they would charge.

Wilson Lin

My experience was at the 3735 Las Vegas blvd location. I've been to Vegas a few times and this was my third visit to this location. I've been happy every time, I know it's the strip and it's available 24/7 so it's pricier than the shops back home that I go to, but I come here for the experience that I can pop in at midnight and get tattooed. I never usually get anything too complicated, to keep my costs low / not sure what artist is available and what their strong suits are. But this time I cannot be more impressed with the tattoo I got with Nolan. He was extremely nice, funny and easy to work with. He did a kickass job tattooing me and I'm sure I'll be back for a 4th visit to this location next time I'm back. I notice a lot of reviews revealing they were charged hundreds for a tattoo very simple and tiny. I would advise that if you do come and decide to get a tattoo, be respectful to both the artist and the people in there. While I sat to get tattooed there I witness so many people pop in and back out constantly opening doors and trying to get their friends to all come in and get tattoos. Nothing is more annoying than not knowing what you want and causing a ruckus. There is a chance you paid more because you wasted their time.

Kellie Brown

The staff are amazing. I think Melissa did my first tattoo and looks great! I was freaking out at first but she helped calm my nerves and did one section, so I would see how it feels. I was really bad sun burned and she picked out the best after care treatment. Thanks Melissa!

Donna Burns

Nolan tattooed my husband George with the most incredible skull. It was so awesome, that when I stopped by after shopping I had to get Nolan to tattoo me. I am in love with his custom butterfly that he included my grandbabies initials. Next time I’m in Vegas my husband and I will get Nolan to tattoo ya again (if he’s still there). He’s an amazing artist and my tattoo is still beautiful. Thanks again Nolan

Tanya Schmidt

Got a small maybe 3 inch long plane and was under the understanding it was like 100 to 150 went to pay and it was 300.. I was shocked and mad we paid it but never again will we go there lesson learned... I just hope when it heals I dont have the issues others have.. ugh I feel so screwed over.

Jason Bogner

Ask for Nolan if you want true Art put on your body. First class customer service and inviting atmosphere !

Matthew Fortnum

Friendly staff, and very upfront on all the details. Hourly rate is about 120$ and I was charged exactly that for my less than an hour tattoo. Very clean and organized shop. Would highly recommend.

Joe Russo

Seemed too busy to tattoo. Overpriced.

Gurpreet Brar

Amazing experience!!! Nolan made us all feel very comfortable. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend! Amazing work! #banjo

shiloh huggler

Royal covered up an old tat and blazed a new creation that blended very well. Was sipping on a bong drink so I bled like a stuck pig but no squealing out of this guy. C U next year royal with more work. Might draw up that bike ride map for u.

Zane Hagy

Yes, they’re a little pricey - it’s Vegas. But the facility was spotless and the staff was fun and professional. I dropped in at 3am, simply because I was still living on Eastern Standard Time and couldn’t sleep. They did a great job, took time and pride in the work, and I got a great souvenir from Vegas. The artist I saw was Frank, and I recommend him highly.

Hailey Gano

I thought this was such a great place! I wanted to get a new septum clicker and I have never changed it out before so I picked the one I wanted and had the piercer at the shop change it. I was very satisfied. The jewelry was surgical steel (so I was told) only $20 and the piercing change was $10. I felt that was reasonable. Progress to two days later, my nose becomes sore and I see green around the outside of my nose where the septum sits just like when you wear a fake ring. This ring was starting to give me an infection! I specifically went to a tattoo/piercing shop to get quality metal to put in my body and I got screwed over. I'm extremely sensitive to anything that isn't surgical steel, silver, or gold- nothing plated. Overall I'm disappointed that they falsely advertised their jewelry and almost ruined my piercing.

Anthony Meyer

Horrible!! The artist was really good and professional, but my wife and I got robbed big time. First of all, this was not my first tat...I’ve got several. The lady behind the counter got me some water and told me I needed it because she was afraid I was gonna pass out. My wife and I got matching tattoos, and the lady said the minimum was $100 as ranged to about $200. We each got two words, hers was small, mine was a little bigger, but not by much. In the end, we paid almost $700. I could have gotten a full sleeve done for that price. Vegas or not, that’s straight up theifery!

Andre Thompson

Terrible service, my girlfriend came in wanting a thin red line around her arm. The manger only told us shop minimum which was $120, after her tattoo was finished the manger hit us with a price of $840. She told us reason for it being that price was cause it was 10inches long. she never told us that we had to pay the minimum by the inch. This place rips people off we were in here for about 30 mins.. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !!!

Justin Bryan

Big Mike is excellent at what he does. I couldn't be happier with my time in the shop and the final result! I'll be making time on my next Vegas trip for another drop in. Overall the shop is very clean, professional, and a fun environment to be in right on the strip. Worth the time and money.

Tempest Fowl

DO NOT GO HERE. Total scam. They tell you it's $120 minimum and after that $120/hr, and then at checkout tell you they suddenly charge by SIZE. Went in with my siblings for a small tattoo each, all line work, all original art that that my brother drew, and they tried to charge $2500 for them. Each tattoo took about fifteen minutes. These people are thieves and scammers, DO NOT GO HERE.

Heather boyd

Being a VERY picky mom, I write this review. My son has been wanting a traditional detailed tattoo my dad has, I haven't been opposed to this idea but our state doesn't allow underage tattoos & I wanted it done RIGHT & PERFECT, no home jobs or cheap work! Chris at Vegas Ink, did not disappoint, he did a phenomenal job, professional & simply amazing, other shops said the detail was "impossible." Chris took one look & confidently said he could do it & he for sure delivered! Thank you Chris, we will be back! Zero regrets, amazing work, natural talent! A+++ I'd share a photo but I don't want others to copy & they will if they see it! Thx again.

Martha Molina

TRAVELERS BEWARE: No estimate or price quote was provided at the time we showed them the design. We signed the paperwork and they asked us to sit without a price quote. Then we saw the sign that said $120 minimum. So at that point we just accepted that our quarter size anchor would be $120. When we cashed out it was $200. I understand that they are in the strip and tend to draw people who are drunk and being spontaneous. But we weren’t drunk and they still were not sincere with the prices. The artists and staff were friendly. I’m just disappointed that there was no price mentioned at any time until the end. ****almost three weeks later and my tattoo has healed as has my sister’s. The color is faded. Disappointed that a $200 small tattoo didn’t even get good coloring. Will have to pay more to touch it up here in Seattle****

Chris lirette

Got a great tattoo last week. The hourly from the guy behind the counter said 130 - 150 this was high but within the realm of possibility considering the location. I consulted how long the tat would take Bryan said 20-30 minutes. I got my wife to pay even left Bryan a tip only after we'd left town did she tell me the criminal behind the counter billed us $200!!!! for the tat guess they really knows how to scam tourists I dont mind paying a premium but that was theft pure and simple.

Rakesh Daryl Nanlal

Great tattoo shop,a little pricey

Ben B

Shop is run by Criminals. Quoted 120 for a quick 30 minute tattoo. Afterwards, I was told it would be $1100. Manager and owner intimidated and threatened us into paying. We Negotiated it down, but we still heavily overpaid. These people should be investigated by the police. Avoid!

Megan Keech

Absolutely awful. When we asked about pricing, were told tattoos started at $100 and was per tattoo depending on size. My tattoo quite literally took 5 minutes and they tried to charge me $400 because it was different locations (different fingers). They tried to charge my sister $980 for a flower on her wrist. They told us after the fact that they charge $80/square inch regardless of detail/color/time. Absolute rip off. STAY AWAY.

Amanda Sloan

Although the staff was very friendly they did not provide a lot of insight on getting a tattoo. It was my first tattoo I had ever received and I wanted something specific. My tattoo was very simple (cursive name). I wanted it to curve with my foot and didn't realize the artist had to draw my tattoo with the curve so therefore I got it straight across because she already created the stencil. Also it didn't even last a week before it started to fade. I have to get it redone because it looks terrible. The owner of the store was not cooperative when I asked him to refund me the cost it would to get it touched up. He said "listen, your asking for too much." I would not recommend going to this shop for a tattoo as you need to be happy with it as it lasts forever. Another note, premium dollars for terrible quality.

Jennifer Roney

The work is excellent, but definitely over priced. Make sure to get your total before the tattoo. The only real complaint is that we had an appointment and then after waiting an hour, we are told they couldn't do them that day so we had to come back the next day.

Natalie Martinez

I got my first tattoo in June of stitch from lilo and stitch and was welcomed as soon and we walked in. The guy that did it did and amazing job. Gave me instructions on how to keep it clean. When i go back to Vegas I will most likely get another tattoo from them

Tawny Moody

Awesome shop. Very interactive. Cool down to earth artists.

Schelli Belli

unfriendly annoyed service. no thx

Jada

My mom recently let me get my nose pierced on Saturday 10/27/18 because it was my birthday and I came here got it pierced and three days later it ended up sinking three days later and as we speak it is actually out of my nose hanging out because the jewelry is too small. I asked the later that worked at the front desk for a bigger jewelry and she said no. We paid $70 for a nose ring and now we have to go back up too the shop so the piercer could change it. I’m very annoyed because I wasted my money on the nose ring that I’m not even satisfied with please do not go here .

Molly Gee

ASK FOR PRICE FIRST!! Big Mike did an amazing job on me and my daughter's matching tattoo's. Approximately 15 minutes each from start to finish... $400.00 shocking- but we did NOT ask for price up front.

Mat Rockey

Nolan > Angry manager lady

Marle Möhlig

Great quality at incredible prices! I’ve had 4 pieces done here and will happily return.

Shay Haynes

I liked my tattoo artist and the tattoo I got.... but waaaay over priced especially for how small and little detail it was. The lady that priced it out wasn't really that nice either.

Markay

Ryan did a custom piece on the back of my hand- my first tattoo at 48 years old. It is absolutely amazing! He was totally professional and helpful. Great experience. Markay

Jamie Jensen

Had a blast Martin gave me phenomenal artwork on my right arm and my wife's cover up on her left ankle is guys good matte a good friend I hope to go back to see him soon

Jason Kent

Leo did an awesome job. The detail was perfect. Took me right away, was a pleasure to talk to and we made it out in time for our show. Highly recommend.

nomadic tymez

I could of waited til I got back to Maine and paid half of what I did but I don't mind paying Xtra to have a tattoo from Vegas and what do you expect on las Vegas strip. Was a very simple piece, vegvisir compass and a crow on my neck. I can't remember my artists name (Brian?) He helped me figure out something on what I wanted and didn't have a picture. Took anout a hr. I paid the quoted $200 price and left a nice tip. Was a chill place.

Chris Newell

Danny done an amazing job on my hand tattoo, a cross with wings coming out the back, much better than I expected an the price was very good to, proper pro, thanks danny

Trevor Accorsi

The Artists are great (Big Mike, and Royal) They did awesome making sure it was perfect. They are perfectionist. But the fact the front desk does not disclose how they charge you is complete trash. My buddy paid $700 for a two hour tattoo. I myself have paid over $2500 for 3 hours. If you break it down they charge between $350 and $850 an hour. It’s by size and placement. But they don’t tell you or give you an estimate till it’s done. So at that point you don’t have a choice. They didn’t give a quote!

Brianne Butterfield

Professional, clean, and nicely priced for a piercing! I'll definitely be back next time!

SachaVyKos

Nolan Newbury is one of the finest artists I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Whatever style you want, whatever level of photo realism you want, its all on the table. If the moneys right the job gets done quickly and correctly 100 percent of the time.
